Oh no I missed most of the pics - I love seeing what you al look like, will try and find some out for me too.

PMSL Flame, I've done that myself oonce, got dressed for work (was wearing a skirt), my clothes were in the kitchen so quickly changed there but knickers were in the bedroom - I just totally forgot to put them on and didn't realise until I got to work I felt such a floozy, very Britney!

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 09:29

Chloe

Jas - I'm in a position of being torn between findig my carpets under the cr*p, and doing mn/shop stuff...

PhoenixGirl · 01/03/2007 09:32

flame

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 09:43

Thanks

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 10:37

It's mighty windy out there today. I really struggled to push the buggy up the hill!

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 11:02

I know its short notice, but I have emailed MNHQ asking if they need anything for the comps during real nappy week... am working on a starter kit type thing which I can just about stretch to donating one of

Jelley · 01/03/2007 12:17

Brilliant idea....I know you mentioned it earlier and forgot to say. Even a couple of nappies would be a great prize

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 16:19

Just got back from the gym. I am going to ache in the morning. The kids are going to spend most of their week there next week. 2 lots of swimming (one for me, one each for the boys) and a session at the gym. I think Mr macca is going to have to up my allowance

Frizbe · 01/03/2007 16:57

hurrah for Gym Macca can I say option b, blow your top, I reckon that's what I'd have done! mind you we don't make the bed, its only a duvet right?!

Flame whilst I was thinking Just4mumz.co.uk could be a place to hit as well Get your details on mumsandworking too

Google adwords are good if you wish to go for a paid advert, out of all the ways there are to advertise on the web, I found it was the best. (trust me I've tried a fair few)

Frizbe · 01/03/2007 16:58

hmm new thread title, how's about 1st birthday slowcoaches

Frizbe · 01/03/2007 18:00

Pah so much for my weight loss boasts, dd1 just said 'I love my big fat mummy' I said 'can you change that to lovely slim mummy please!'
I like this laptop larkey, they're watching story makers and I'm on here!

Jelley · 01/03/2007 19:20

Check my profile for a birthday train picture

Frizbe - my dds call me fat sometimes. I think it is just interchangable with big/tall.

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 19:25

I sort of like this laptop lark, but I am kind of missing DH... has set up office on the dining room table, he's in the lounge - he won't use messenger as he can't concentrate on his game and attempt to type

Off to look at your links Friz

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 19:29

I cn't find a just4mumz

mustrunmore · 01/03/2007 19:33

I want a laptop Should've got one when my Dad gave us the money to replace the pc that ds1 wrecked instead of getting this one. Complete lack of forethought.

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 20:01

Its terrible - you should be ashamed of yourself

mustrunmore · 01/03/2007 20:09

I know. But you know how it is when you've got no internet access at alll, and things selling on ebay! And my Dad suggested this one, so I just went with it. WE do have his offcast laptop, but there's no way in hell it'll ever work. Dh and a few people have tried. Ooo, should I have passed it on to the csws family to look at?

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 20:10

Even if they didn't fix it, it could go play in the little laptop family

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 20:18

I think I overdid it, I can hardly lift my arm high enough to type. Off to make a cup of tea ....

Flamesparrow · 01/03/2007 20:22

Ironing... exercising... if you will keep doing things that are bad for you

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 20:30

Me doing the ironing was definitely bad for dh this morning

He didn't redeem himself either when he walked in. I was cashing up and trying to tally cash and cheques, he wouldn't shut up and asked me so many questions. Now, usually I wouldn't complain cos he's not good at conversation unless he's socialising but tonight I had to delicately inform him I was "bloody counting". Apparently he didn't realise . I usually sit with £200 cash surrounding me

mustrunmore · 01/03/2007 20:32

Only just seen the cake pic jas; its lovely!!
Only managed to get a 15 min hill walk in today, due to life. But am very excited. A friend has offered to babysit one night next week. We were sitting saying we couldnt be bothered/afford a meal, dh hates our local, so a drink is out of the question , but then I had a fantastic brainwave! We can go for a night run together Havent done that since ds1 really, maybe once at my Mums.

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 20:49

Oh yes, great cake Jelley

Ok MRM Now you're just being stooopid! I'm all for exercising and enjoying exercising but having the opportunity of a babysitter to go out and you wanna go for a run. Madness!!!!!!! Go and have a lie down and rethink

mustrunmore · 01/03/2007 20:53

Ah, but we will run up to the Greek supermarket to buy a bottle of water. Because that really reminds me of holidays prekids You know when you wander round in the warm dark night, the shops are all exciting because they're full of things with unintelligible labels etc etc. Just need more crickets humming in North London

2boysmacca · 01/03/2007 21:02

Nah, if we wandered out in South Africa we'd have been mugged
