Oh, you had a meet-up - hope it was fun. Maybe one day I'll be able to join you!

Hope you & the DC are all well.

Nothing much going on over here - DS causing the usual trouble, bless him!

Jaamy · 27/03/2007 20:55

Hello all!

Yes we had a lovely time and it was so nice to FINALLY meet someone from our thread. Thank you Mummyhill for making me feel so welcome with your friend, sister and all the scrumptious DCs. So very sorry that we had to spend the first hour tryng to break into my car - yes, managed to lock the DDs in the car again!

Mummyhill's D is lovely and a proper little man. And those of you who haven't met MH can be assured that she is a sweetheart in RL too. MH - please send get well wishes to blimeyoreilly's little one and reassure her that we're all ok here - just think that A has a cold which DH has passed on to her.

Will definitely have to make sure we do it again...soon!

Have heard that Wabbit's C is on the mend - good news.

Isn't it lovely that the weather is picking up though not quite right for March, methinks.

SR - hope all well in your house and things aren't so busy for you, thugh I suppose busy is good?

Mamama - DS causing trouble???? What has he been up to?

mummyhill · 29/03/2007 14:07

Hi all

After an argument with ISP over money I am now back on line.

BoR's DD is in Hospital turned out not to be Parvo's (SP) she has had an IV fo AB's ans saline in and we are waiting for blood test results to come in for her.

C is fine.

Thanks Jaamy I think I like being called a sweetheart.

Had my first councelling session yesterday not sure how I feel about it yet as somestuff I thought I had burried (iyswim) came to the surface afterwards.

Hello xx

Sometimes its good to get the buried stuff out MH - I was shocked that counselling did that to me too.xx

mummyhill · 29/03/2007 16:38

Hi SR I am hoping that I can work through it all and come out a happy well balanced person instead of theperson I am in private at the moment iyswim.

Jaamy · 29/03/2007 18:00

oh MH - please send our get well wishes to BOR's little girl. BOR must be really worried. Still, her DD is getting the right care now. Read up on Slapped Cheek and thought it sounded like she might be a bit young for it. A still got a bad cold going on and J now down with it too but think that's all it is...a cold. DH has it too so I'm being nurse to everyone atm.

SR is right - think counselling is all about getting out the "buried" stuff as that might be part of the cause of some current worries. It will help in the long run. Has work stopped hounding you?

How are you SR?

mummyhill · 29/03/2007 18:41

I am ignoring work. They can hound all they like. I am screening calls with the answewr phone so I don't have to talk to anyone I don't want to. Also not answering if any strange numbers come up on the mobile as I just want some space from those not in the know.

BoR Called to say that P had a restless night but that they are monitoring her closley. She will be in till Monday at the earliest. Her rash changed and they are treating it as viral meningitis till the test results come back. They don't think it is meningitis but want to make sure they have covered all their bases.

OP posts:
mummyhill · 30/03/2007 16:40

BoR's DD test results came back fine. They are going to finish the course of antibiotics to be on the safe side and then the little mite can come home to lots of hugs from her aunty and cousins.

OP posts:
Jaamy · 01/04/2007 11:04

That's great news, MH. BoR must be so relieved. Happy cuddling of your little neice.

Hope everyone else is ok? A still full of cold though temperature now gone. Think DH is FINALLY over his nan flu!

It's a glorious day here so we are going to...IKEA, of course. Are we mad? At least it's only 10 mins down the road and we can come back if too busy.

HOPe everyone else is enjoying the sunshine. What's the weather like with you this time of year mamama?

Take care all.

Simplyred · 01/04/2007 19:50

Hello!

Best wishes to BoR - and her dd - hope she's home soon.

Hope things are better for you MH?

I'm grumpy - every one is taking me for granted and I'm fed up with it!

Jaamy · 02/04/2007 12:37

Hi SR!

I'm not taking you for granted Are you going to get a break from SW over easter? Will DH be off and can you get him to have the DCs for half a day while you have some time to yourself?

Just noticed - I typed "nan flu" instead of "man flu" in my last post...how apt!

mummyhill · 02/04/2007 14:47

My Neice is home still not 100% but much better than she was.

Trying not to get stressed about the hols will keep posting to save my sanity!!!!

OP posts:
JaamyBunny · 02/04/2007 17:50

MH - post away!

Hopefully your DN will be better soon and you will have some nice family time over easter.

Simplyred · 06/04/2007 19:09

Hello!

My children are driving me mad to! hope DN is improving MH and every one is enjoying Easter.

mummyhill · 08/04/2007 22:05

SR - Mine have driven me mad.

DN is much better and has gone with mum and dad to see her grandpa over easter.

D nearly broke my nose yesterday morning, nearly toasted himself on the BBQ at SIL's this afternoon who knows what tomorrow will bring.

mummyhill · 12/04/2007 09:12

Roll one Monday maybe some sanity will return to this house then. I am dreadng the summer hols. We must arrange a couple of meets to break the monotony of listening to our little ones yelling mum wheres my, can I have, I want, I need, get me. I know mine behave much beter when there are other people around.

IdrisTheDragon · 12/04/2007 12:08

Hello .

Thankyou mummyhill for finding me in a book thread .

Will write more later (I promise) but all the Dragons are doing nicely (although I have to admit to being quite glad to come back to work yesterday ).

mummyhill · 12/04/2007 12:32

RANT ALLERT RANT ALLERT

Work are helping to make me a candidate for the funny farm. Have been off since begining of March due to Stress/depression and anxiety. I am taking AD's and going for councelling. They sent a leter on the 5th which I recived on the 10th asking me to respond within 48hrs as aparently I was absent without leave and hadn't followed sickness policy. I went back to GP who reissued sicknotes, went to post office and photocopied them and handed them in to someone in the personnel office and had a chat about my mental health. This morning I find a letter dated the 7th sat on my doorstep inviting me to an investigatory hearing to assess wether I have a valid reason for being absent from work. They wondered why I phoned up in tears asking for an explination. The personnel manager won't be in till tomorrow so I have asked for her to call me and clarify the situation for me. Also told them that I couldn't attend the meeting on the date and time specified in their letter am going back to GP tomorrow. Wondering if it would do any good to contact my Community psychiatric nurse or the CAB.

Thanks for reading.

OP posts:
JaamyBunny · 13/04/2007 00:02

MH - call the CAB first thing tomorrow before you speak to anyone at work. At least they will tell you where you stand and what work can/can't ask you to do.

Also contact your community pyschiatric nurse. Maybe they could write to your employers telling them that the stress that they are causing you will simply make you more ill.

Then tell us which supermarket it is and we will get all MNers to boycott it until they leave you alone

Get as much of this sorted out in the morning and then take you and D and N off somewhere nice for a picnic and try to enjoy the last day of the Easter hols.

HTH a bit.

Sending you BIG hugs. x

mamama · 13/04/2007 01:19

Hello all

Sorry to hear about all your stress MH

Any news from Wabbitt?

{{big hugs}}

mummyhill · 13/04/2007 08:56

Thanks Girls.

Morning update - Well today is supposed to be pay day and they haven't paid my ssp. Bank have put a temporary overdraft on the account for an extortionate fee but at least it gets me out of the mire for a bit. Am frantically phoning round trying to sort stuff out.

OP posts:
mamama · 13/04/2007 17:28

mummyhill

I'm sorry everything is such a struggle for you at the moment. Things here are pretty grim (in a different way) so you have my sympathy.

Hope everyone else is ok.

x

JaamyBunny · 13/04/2007 22:47

Hi mamama!

Things here are thankfully ok at the moment. The weather has picked up too which really helps put a smile on everyone's face. Abi seems to be going through a growth spurt ATM. Everyday she seems an inch taller!!

Hope things pick up with you soon and hope your DS is ok.

Take care

mummyhill · 16/04/2007 11:45

Have a hug Mamama.
