Spent a chunk of last night in A&E as david has done his famous lets bash my head off something and cover mum in blood again. This time it was his eyebrow which suffered. Bets now being taken on the HV turning up before the end of the month!!

mummyhill · 18/02/2007 16:52

Arghhhh now he has pulled the fireguard off the wall and is sitting in the pushchair in disgrace.

WOW, huge congrats jaamy, i'm so pleased for you
MUMMYHILL, your david sounds just like mia, its definitely 2nd child syndrome

mummyhill · 20/02/2007 18:38

Jaamy - 14th or 21st are best for me. Still waiting to hear from wabbitt. Do you want to find somewhere halfway? My sister suggested Trentham Gardens (think it is junction 15 or 16).

OP posts:
Jaamy · 20/02/2007 22:48

Mummyhill - Have looked on map - think Trentham is Junction 15. That's great for me - as long as well sign posted!!! - if ok with you and Wabbitt. Shall we say the 14th and then can always change if Wabbitt needs to. How long will it take you to get there? what's a good time to meet? Will probably only take me an hour so anytime from 10.30 would be fine.

Off to investigate Trentham garden on web. Quite excited at prospect of finally meeting some of my Sept 05 pals!!

Can anyone else make it??

Bubbles - impending new arrival not confirmed yet - still very early days and symptomns have gone so won't be knitting any bootees just yet!

A is mostly stealing coal from the fire lately and was sent home from nursery in disgrace after biting her big sister yesterday. Hoping she won't transfer her penchant for biting to the coal...yuck!

mummyhill · 21/02/2007 07:32

Jaamy - Wabbitt has sent me a text saying that the 21st is best for her. Will prob take us about an hour too. I can arrange to meet wabbitt and we may be able to squidge into my car will see if I can change D's day at the minders for this one as I am sure you would like to seem him. I know wabbitt and C would. Will call wabbitt find out what time suits her best.

SO ANYONE ELSE WANT TO JOIN US AT TRENTHAM GARDENS ON THE 21st MARCH?

Jaamy · 21/02/2007 13:50

Great Mummyhill - 21st it is! And I'm sorry but I really must insist that you bring D!!

Is 11am ok? Then it's not too much of an early start for any of us. I have absolutely no idea where is good to meet. Think I saw a garden tea room or cafe or something on the website. Will email you my mobile number some time before then so you can let me know where you are when you arrive.

oooooh, excited now!

mummyhill · 21/02/2007 14:03

Well ok if you twist my arm I suppose I can bring him.

Hello all,

had a bit of a break recently and seemed to have missed a bit on here. Congrats Jaamy - hope all is well. Very exciting!

Mummyhill, hope the ADs are working and that you're beginning to feel a bit better. How is D? He sounds very accident prone! My D is too although, by some amazing feat we have avoided serious injury & A&E so far (am probably tempting fate by writing that!) Best wishes to Wabbit if you talk to her. My mess may be coming to an end here, which is both good and very scary.

Hope everyone else is ok...

Hello Hello!

Sorry I post so little these days - I have over committed myself with work - the kids and everything

mummyhill · 03/03/2007 00:17

SR - Know the feeling well my love.

OP posts:
Jaamy · 06/03/2007 21:18

SR, MH - I know how you feel, though at least I'm not working for myself and get paid holidays/sick leave if I mneed it - you must have great discipline, SR. DH is away again though so I'm struggling through on that front.

My news is, that I don't have any news. This is the only post natal thread that I will be frequenting for a while. At least I'm going to be able to take full advantage of that all inclusive holiday. HOWEVER, it does mean that the bikini diet is back on...started in earnest again this week.

Mamama - glad things seem to be sorting out for you. Why scary? Is it because you can begin to move on now?

Had a fab moment today when I picked the DDs up from nursery. A ran her little legs off to the door shouting "Mummy, Mummy!" It was great! Have a day off with them tomorrow so will take them swimming (with Granny's help)

Take care all.

mummyhill · 07/03/2007 11:19

Hi Jaamy have a hug. Look forward to meeting you later this month.

OP posts:
Simplyred · 07/03/2007 21:02

Hello Hello!

Sorry to hear of no news Jaamy - but glad to hear you can take full advantage of the holiday!!

Have done no work today - think I may need to at least discipline myself, oh no... hell to it I'm sacked!!

mummyhill · 10/03/2007 21:02

Had a lovely afternoon visiting Wabbitt and C with DH, DD and DS. She sends her love to all of you and is looking forward to meeting up at trentham gardens later this month. Jaamy hope you don't mind but have invited sniff to join us as she would like to meet you but felt very nervous about meeting on her own iyswim.

OP posts:
Jaamy · 11/03/2007 15:15

Mummyhill - have been meaning to get in touch with sniff - we've been quite active on the Liverpool meet up thread - lots going on. I understand she would be nervous meeting me - who knows what kind of an axe weilding nutter I might be?!!

Must go - DD2 is inspecting DH's vinyl collection VERY closely!

Hope everyone is ok.

Sorry it's too far for you, SR. Would love to meet you. Will have to work out where's halfway between us and plan it ...one day! Hope you don't have to work too hard.

mummyhill · 18/03/2007 08:31

SR will have to arrange a half way point as Jaamy suggests so that we can meet up.

Jaamy will email you my mobile number.

Hope everyone else is well.

Jaamy - It was great to meet you and your beautifull little girls. I hope you and sniff had a great time after Blimeyorielly and I left to fetch my eldest monster from school. We really must organise another meet up so that wabbitt can come along.
