Ouch Jelly that sounds rubbish. Unfortunately bonjela is a no go when feeding but Boots Mouth Gel is fine and is really good.

Ooh Niff, now I think you live in Downton Abbey! I also have staff, I just refer to him as DH so he doesn't feel too lowly. Smile What time is T getting up for the day if she is napping at 11? That seems quite late to me. P is up at 7 and usually napping before 9. I think lots of babies need a nap about 2 hours after waking up. I was clueless about this until I read it in a book!

Dealing with our first cold here (both P and I), she struggled to get back to sleep on her back as she was so snuffly so has been asleep on my chest since about 5. I've decided to let her sleep as much as she needs to today and bugger the routine, but I therefore can't get up and I'm starving - send cake! Was also planning a shopping trip today but I think it would be too much for both of us (fitbit reckons I got 3 hours sleep, yey), so postponing until Thursday. Sad face.

I think your last move was probably more stressful than mine niff! Grin Hooray for the cot nap!

I didn't find the first smear too bad (compared to pushing a baby out haha!) Gx it won't be too bad for you Dulcet.

Boo colds suck pud - at least you can take All The Drugs now! Hope you both feel better soon.

Ooh yes, yey for moving Popz!, we need house porn on FB when you are in! (As in, pictures of your new house, not pictures of you ttc in your new house!)

Thanks Popz, still can't take the good stuff (sudofed) but the wonder drug paracetamol is in!

Ouch jelly, hope it heals soon.

Niff babies change all the time, and what seemed impossible one day, is quite normal the other. You just have to keep trying and one day she'll surprise you.

I'm actually finding this easier than when I only had DS. It's not as overwhelming by a mile, although I do realise it's only morning of day 1!

I wanted to pop into any clinic to get O checked for oral thrush. She's got a white coating on her tongue, which MW said could be just milk after feed, but I think she has it all the time. She said to try and see if I can rub it off, but as soon as I put a finger in her mouth she closes it, so I can't see where I'm rubbing it off from! I was hoping HVs would be a bit more experienced in this. I'm running out of time though!

This book you mention pud, it wouldn't be That Book would it? She's restless from 4 or 5, troubled by poos, but up up from 6. She does catnap throughout the day, just not predictably and not in chunks of longer than 20 mins really. Unless I am actually walking for hours on end. Sorry about the cold, that's shit! I'm dreading getting ill - can't be long til I get d&v...

I had a smear at 7 weeks pp dulcet after a 3rd degree tear. Didn't hurt a bit. This has convinced me its all about who does it, mine was a very experienced ob/ gyn. Hope you get someone gentle!

Fuck I put a tiny bit of bonjela on last night...what should I do?

Thanks for the tip on the boots gel.

Jelly! Sorry if I freaked you out with my bonjela chat! I didn't realise you had already used it. Apologies for stress caused.

Ha ha Niff, yes from That Book I loves it but I have read it elsewhere since.

Going to the HV clinic tomorrow to get chubbs weighed and to ask about her somewhat flat head...

Gx for more sleep here tonight!

CarrotPuff · 16/03/2016 00:05

Jelly I'm sure a tiny bit as a one off wouldn't have made any harm.

I've survived the first day, yay! It wasn't bad at all. Got a bit hectic towards the end but nothing major.

Gx for more sleep for everyone tonight!

I peed on a frer yesterday and got a bfn, I'm only 8dpo. Slap me and tell me I could still be pg. I'm really upset about it even though I knew it was stupid to do it!
Humph, I didn't think I'd be this crazy about it now I've got H, it's weird.

Report
cookielove · 16/03/2016 11:47

zyla 8dpo of course you could be pregnant!!! I tested 4 days early with E and got the faintest of faint lines hmmmn so that would have been 10 dpo!

We still aren't trying but I am very jealous with just the Idea of poas!

Bonjela??

Report
CarrotPuff · 16/03/2016 13:23

Zyla I found I obsessed more 2nd time around. Mc didn't help the matters, but I think it's also because I really wanted a small age gap, so every month I wasn't pg meant the gap was increasing.

So tired. C is having his nap but O woke up for a feed. Maybe I should wake her up and feed once C is down so that they sleep at the same time?..

zyla I would give you a massive hooya except I also poafrer at 7dpo! And then on an ic yesterday at 9dpo.... I had also hoped to be less crazy second time round! Blush

I think actually the uncertainty is what's doing my head in. I'm in my "2ww" but actually have no idea when AF is due cos my cycles are still haywire!

Report
DulcetMoans · 16/03/2016 23:16

Oh dear, we're going to need a whole bunch of hooyas in here for the second timer! Be kind to yourselves but sensible - you know how sticks work! You both still have a chance.

It's nightime again. I hate nightime!!

Report
Nefertitts · 17/03/2016 02:01

Oh dear everyone, I would offer hooyas but I poased at 8dpo with T. I just KNEW it though (because I had been running shagging like a pissy-stick powered NASA mission... With all the B vits or whatever for my luteal phase).

You're both still in!

The non-daysleeper is currently asleep on me. She passed out at 8am after pooing all over the changing table then screaming for a while. I shall be sat here in my bra and pants for a while then... Or maybe I should try putting her back in cot so I can shower...

Report
Nefertitts · 17/03/2016 02:03

But popz seriously, frer at 7dpo? That's extravagant! I'd want a squinter on an ic before cracking out the posh pissy sticks!

Dh back to work tomorrow. R is celebration by waking up every hour. Le sigh. I know he's going to keep along every hour as he's only having two ounces... Not enough to keep him asleep longer :(

Country at 1 week old the stomach is only 2oz big, growing to between 2.5 and 5ozs at 1 month old so he's unlikely to take more just yet.

BabyPis yelled down the monitor 15 mins ago but had gone back to sleep by the time I got to the bedroom door. My alarm has just gone off so no time for cheeky snoozes Hmm wee bugger.

CountryGal4 · 17/03/2016 06:16

He's two weeks and always takes at least 3 but at night does more like 3.5/ 4. Maybe he's got an elephants stomach

Country, is he properly awake for his night feeds? When P was small I would change her nappy when she fell asleep half way through a feed. Then she would be awake enough for the second half.

V excited by all this weeing on sticks! But hooyas ladies, hooyas.

Lol! Yey for sleep and exploding boobs Jelly! I keep the pump upstairs with DH does night feeds so I can do a quick express and back to bed if I get uncomfortable. Otherwise I wake up in a lake of my own milk.

Yeah he's very definite about letting me know he doesn't want any more. I change a wins half way through. Last night was a bit of a one off. Normally he'll take 3-4 then sleep for almost 3 hours sound. Last night he's gone down ok but not been very settled. Still like it now
