joskar I hear you on the gift front. I have received not one but two snowsuits for grumpy 2 in enormous sizes that aren't going to fit until next summer! I get that people think they are being helpful by buying bigger, but when the babies are this small and growing so fast it doesn't really work as a concept
. My Aunt lives near you, she probably had all the Quality Street. I apologise on her behalf.
clstow sorry to hear that you are on a breakdown truck, it happens to us a lot (grumpy 1 went through a phase of thinking that all holidays ended with a lift home on a truck). I get through the irritation by thinking of the money we are saving on fuel. Silver linings and all that.
frolic a pregnancy test
just the thought is terrifying! Good work on the fudge though, I love the stuff but have always assumed it would be complicated to make, was it?
fanby I think you are being very brave and sensible to try and help Molls learn to sleep. It's part of your job as her Mum to teach her important life skills like this, and bollox to anyone who questions your judgement. My Mum knitted the cardigan - we have a good stash of home-brew knitwear here at the dwarf house.
Dozy well done on the quick thinking response to potential present embarrassment!
nolonger thanks for the tip about Red House Farm, we have not been but shall go as it sounds great.
On the poo front grumpy 2 used to go every other day. Then she went through a phase of storing it for about a week and then having a day of mega poo. Now she is back to about one every other day or so. I think she has a bit of a funny tummy today though as we have been a bit sick after each feed (which she had stopped doing) and some slightly greeny poo. She seems well in herself though so I am not concerned.
On the Christmas front I took the dwarfs to Waitress to buy the Christmas cheeseboard. It was a middle-class armageddon in there. Absolute hell on earth. The queue for the free tea and coffee stretched halfway around the store and I actually got elbowed out of the way by a middle aged gentleman whilst reaching for a camembert. We were lucky to make it out in one piece!
I'll be propping up the bar later, hopefully by myself
