Jelley for cooker

Flame for no baby!

Dew, as everyone has said, your ok so long as body already used to it, what I meant was, if you've not been doing regular running, now wouldn't be the time to suddenly decide to start again

Ran into an assoicate with her 7wk old triplets today all very cute, 2 girls n a boy, she has them on 4hr feeds and appears to be managing quite well, she'd successfully delegated all 3 of them to her friends when I saw her today

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 16/11/2006 20:00

Ahhhhh 7wk old triplets - cute but OMG, how much hard work?!

DH is still badly with gastro-enteritis but ds has cleared up loads so that's good. I seriously hope I don't catch it I am such a wuss with vomitting and diarrhoea!

Congrats on the -ve Flame, were you secretly displeased or did you have an overwhelming feeling of relief?

Just realised I can't do Mondays on the meet-up either as I clean then. Thursdays are best for me too if we organise another in future.

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 20:36

Jelley, that sounds just how ds2 was last week (when we had to stand csws up!), and he ended up as a chest infection. Only lasted a few days though.

So, no ones her eat the same time as me again, you miseries! And dh wont get home from work till 1am! He's on a 7am - midnight shift. Yuck. I'm going to be forced to list some thnigs on ebay instead of chatting to myself!

PhoenixGirl · 16/11/2006 20:43

I'm here as long as my broadband connection lasts hello

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 20:45

Ah ha! Hello! What you been doing today then?

PhoenixGirl · 16/11/2006 20:47

Working this afternoon nowt much this morning. You?

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 20:49

ds2 up since 5am, so I was sorting drawers etc in our bedroom while he milled around. Got alot done until ds1 got up in a foul mood.
Went to tescos this afternoon, and then 2 1/2 hours in the soft play to tire him out. They were both asleep by 7pm

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 20:52

Oh, and ds1 has coloured in a black and white map of Britain's canal network.. his xmas pressie for Grandad!!

ds2 just stirred, but I managed to pat him back to sleep

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2006 21:14

Oh well done. Was just reading the 'nice' thread. You mentioned me! Ta!

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 21:17

Well, I did think he wasn't too bad at yours, but, then again, you're used to baby behaviour, not 3yr old boy antics You do tend to take over people's houses when you're out and about with 2 kids! He's twice asked 'was that baby called kipper a girl one? Why? Was that her mummy?'

Jelley · 16/11/2006 21:22

Hello.
I love the baby called Kipper.

DS is sat in the buggy being ignored at the moment. He has no intention of going to sleep tonight, dp is asleep in bed, and if he's in the cot he screams, andin our bed he climbs out.
Going to be another long night.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2006 21:23

Ah bless. He really is a cutie. And so nice that he thinks that Bram is his baby .

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2006 21:24

Oh dear Jelley. Hope it turns out better than you're expecting.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 21:26

Yep, it is quite cute, until the other day he asked if he was going to have another baby to live with us

Oh Jelley I might well be around for a while, as i dont have the common sense to go to bed. I wish santa could afford a laptop to take under the duvet.

mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 21:27

And nice until he decides its his job to feed the baby visualise the porridge at breakfast.

Jelley · 16/11/2006 21:33

He's gone from buggy to my knee.
At least I'm not feeding him.(probably would i I thought it would put him to sleep, but that trick no longer works)

I can remember dd1 feeding dd2 with yoghurt when they were 1 and 2. Very cute, and surprisingly gentle.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2006 21:39

Well DD feeds herself porridge with a spoon, so reckon I probably have a good idea of the mess already!

OP posts:
Frizbe · 16/11/2006 21:41

aww Jelley that paints a nice picture, but I'm not letting dd1 try it until dd2 is a bit older!! she's taken to throwing dd2's toys over the stair gate so she can't get them, if I'm out of sight for a mo or two....
Hope ds gets better soon, drugs help????

Jelley · 16/11/2006 21:46

He's asleep now. I gave him calpol just in case earlier. I'm going to try him in bed, and if he settles I'll go too.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2006 21:48

Good luck!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 16/11/2006 22:15

Frizbe; the mantra ds1 has adopted is 'but I just did it so Bramble couldn't get it/get in/ get out/hurt himself' etc etc. The new universal excuse for everything.

3k · 16/11/2006 22:58

Jelley hope DS is ok. Keeping fingers crossed for a quiet night!!

DS is a lot better here, managed to get a big bowl of ready break down him this mornign and also tea tonight plus milk all day so that's good. He was still wheezy though so I took him back to docs today and he now has Ventolin and a plastic spacer thingy to give it to him with. He hates it! I did manage to get him to breathe a bit in before bed so I'm hoping he wakes ok in the morning.

Been cleaning today and have cleaning tomorrow. Be glad to get back, feeling knackered tonight.

PhoenixGirl · 17/11/2006 07:46

Sorry about last night mrm the connection went again
