Sooooooooooooo tired. Read all, forgotten the lot.

Sorry for the poorly babies (still!! )

Dentist wasn't too bad yesterday, then spend yesterday evening setting up Psycho's new laptop (not jealous at all me ).

Munchkin decided against sleeping in his own f*ckin bed.

I need to fix it, but am too tired to do it. Maybe a night of coffee is needed tonight, then a day in bed tomorrow???

Chloe - nope, all just relief

TicTac · 17/11/2006 08:14

Morning all, a very snotty DD at the moment. All very green (sorry if tmi)

Mother arriving this afternoon and not leaving until lunch time on Monday so wont be around too much

Hope everyone is ok and Flame is still doing the not pregnant dance.

Jelley · 17/11/2006 08:23

Morning,
Another rubbish night here, too. DS only slept when I sat up holding him last night. (he managed 2 hours in the cot when I first put him up, so I'm glad I went, too.) He's definitely got a cold so I'm hoping it'll sort itself once he's better.

Your cheque has cleared

Sorry, the cheque message is for Flame.

flamesparrow · 17/11/2006 08:24

I forgot to tell you when it went in

Jelley · 17/11/2006 08:25

That's ok, I'm constantly paranoid about bouncing cheques, as we are always so close to our limit. I check our account every day and we still go over the limit when I'm not ;looking.

Morning all. ds1 had a lie in till 7.30 today, obviously , because its nursery day and we have to leave the house 8am.

Just picked up the Venture photos (we had the Boots gift experience from a friend). Very cute!

Trying to think of a prebirthday avctivity for ds1 for this afternoon, as there's nothing on at the pictures, so thats my big plan gone. Dh took the day off work today, so we should make the most of it.

Jelley; I only ever do cheques for buying stuff off here, and we still end up at least £100 overdrawn every month. WE need to seriously cut back, but there's very little to cut back on in terms of regular expenditure. Only really not buying clothes for the boys (we do get mostly hand me downs from mums neighbour, but I really dont like the style of some of it now its older age stuff, all footbally etc), and trying to spend less on food. My main downfall is being out and about with the boys and stopping in a cafe to feed ds2, then ds1 wants something to eat, and I have to get a drink to justify being there.

flamesparrow · 17/11/2006 12:51

Grandad going home today!

ellenrose · 17/11/2006 17:45

Yeay for cookers and non pregnancy and Grandads going home.

Having to type this with Maisie on my lap so will have to finish now before she starts bashing the keys again.

Love Kipper

Have a great weekend everyone - fingers crossed for healthier babies and better nights sleep.

Jelley · 17/11/2006 20:24

mrm and csws. I have sent you a CAT with my mobile number for tomorrow. Please text me with yours so I can call one/both of you when I am on my way so I don't have to go in alone/chickemn out!

No idea what time I will be getting there yet as it is all dependant on what time dp gets home.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2006 20:39

The tiredness is catching up with you Jas - you could have just e-mailed me directly! Oh, and I actually had your no already, but have sent you mine by text now.

What did you do in the end today mrm?

DD only managed to sleep til 5:30 this morning - an improvement on previous days this week, but still not long enough considering she only went to be at 8:20. Hoping for a better stretch tonight, but she's taken 30 mins so far to try and settle (if that's what you call it when she screams and shouts in her cot at bedtime), and isn't quite there yet, so it's not a good start!

Still having dilemma about which outfit to wear tomorrow night. Tried on my new top to show dh and he thought that outfit was the better option (as do I for evening time), but the top actually pulls across my chest, and more so if I wear a proper bra rather than a nursing one. Sure it didn't do that in the shop .

Oh yes, I'm planning on getting to Kings Cross Thameslink at 7:39, or 7:53 if I miss that one, and then getting vic line to oxford circus and then central to bond street then walking from there. Is that going to fit with either of you for meeting up?

Jelley · 17/11/2006 20:56

csws I did realise after I'd done it that I do have your email.
Haven't received a text yet...
Wear what ever you will be comfortable in.
I'm probably borrowing a dress, but I can't remember what it looks like (my friend wore it to my parents wedding anniversary) I hope it goes with flat clumpy boots as I won't compromise on footwear. I will be walking back through Holloway alone at the end of the night and don't want to be staggering in heels.

DS woke half an hour after I put him to bed, but has gone back to sleep.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2006 20:59

How odd - it's def gone from my end. Will e-mail it to you now too to make sure you have it.

I'm hoping to get a tube at 7.30 ish in to O circus (I think), but no idea when dp will get home, how long it will take to get to my friends house, choose outfit, change, feed ds (twice) get him settled, and leave.

mustrunmore · 17/11/2006 21:53

Hello. Just a quickie, as i'm still getting pirate things ready ofr the party. Think i'll be in Oxford St around 7.45pm. Not decided on route as the Northern Line has works; typical! Jeley; I got your CAT, so I'll call you and csws, whoever will answer me!

We went to Topsy Turvy (huge soft play) then big ELC in Brent Cross, and Wagamamas for tea ds2 loved seeing his noodles being cooked!

MrsDoolittle · 17/11/2006 21:54

I hope you all have a fabulous time at the party.
Too far away for me I'm afraid

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2006 21:59

Of course we won't actually have any signal on our phones whilst we're underground. mrm - sounds like we should be fairly close arriving at oxford circus and bond st (as long as I don't miss the first train), so perhaps we should meet at the entrance to bond st (top of escalator just past pret). If I miss the first train then I'll text to let you know, and you can tell me if you want to wait for me or not.

Jelley - are you meeting QP?

Jelley · 17/11/2006 22:03

I'm not doing definite arrangements csws. I've sent exchanged numbers, but I suspect she'll be there before me any way as her dh is dropping her off I think.

I will call you both (mrm/csws) when I'm on my way in to town (tea time I hope)and again when I go to Holloway tube.

Mrs D. I saw your name on the list, and was hoping you'd be there.

mrm. - Hope ds1 has a wonderful birthday.

mustrunmore · 17/11/2006 22:31

csws; I've scanned the tube map in the bath Will get the picadilly down to Holborn, then central across. Am thinknig of leaving here 7pm, so its anyone's guess what time i'll arrive, but prob 8ish. Will wait for you at Bond St unless I hear otherwise; will prob call you in a panic, and so I look busy, not like a sad loner pretending to wait for a friend

Fingers crossed for the pirate party! Have already burnt some food , but the banners are up and the party bags are done.
