am now picturing MRM in bikini holding up a board with no 10 on it

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 03/12/2006 22:23

Oh, should have said.. ds1 filled in his little booklet that he has to do for starting nursery (got his hour visit on Thurs). Had to do a few pics, fill in his preferences re music and telly etc (NOT twelly!!). We had to put a photot of our family in.... guess what the only one we have on the pc is, that we could print of..... the PIRATE one

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 03/12/2006 22:24

god, i'll never be in a bikini again But am pleasded to have ditched the jamas this week, and am back in a short nightie/cami of sorts

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 03/12/2006 22:26

I'm sure its ok (she says with optimism). Would it be good or bad? Personally, it'd be terrible if it was me.

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 22:30

To be honest it'd just be another one on the pile, what with three in total already, but that been said I'd rather not given a choice, as financially life would be better without, but if I am we'd have to manage......on the plus side dh has said if I am, he'll be a) shocked beyond belief as we've been using contraception and b) will defo have the snip
Bet pre school will love the pirate photo!

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 03/12/2006 22:36

We put our christmas decorations up tonight too, who wants to bet how long it will take before either a) puppy or b) DS knock the tree over???!!! I have tried to block it in with DS's toybox so fingers crossed it stays up.

The VTech Walker I got DS on Friday night was a very good idea as in two days DS has gone from taking just one or two steps along the sofa to running across the living room in hysterics with his walker it is so funny. It was a Christmas present but we thought he was ready for the walker and he will get loads on Christmas day anyway.

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 03/12/2006 22:37

Friz - last month I went to 46 days on my period (normally 28-35) but I had been on antibiotics. If you dont come on in next few days perhaps you should do another test. Are you normally regular as clockwork?

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 22:45

3K thanks for that, yep I'm normally regular but there's a 1st time for everything right!
as ds with his walker, is it the one with the 'hello puppy calling' song?

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 03/12/2006 22:53

Yes the puppy song has stuck in my head since I bought it He loves it though, definately worth giving it to him early. Cant believe he went from hardly any steps to running in a few days

Hope you get the result you want from the pregnancy test when you take it. Have you taken anyother medication or been unwell this month? I had that abscess and then the antibiotics and it threw my cycle out for a few months, after the 46 day one I bled every two weeks for a while.

I'm supposed to be working but cant help being on here!!! Thought I would try and get a spreadsheet finished and email that and my timesheet to my boss to get paid whilst DH is at his Christmas party but not done a thing!

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 22:56

at attempted work, it always goes that way hey!
No medication or anything? ah well, if no show tomorrow, will test again, sigh...what will be will be.....

CranberryJelley · 03/12/2006 23:19

Good luck Friz.

A fourth is people carrier territory you know

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 03/12/2006 23:27

Yes good luck!!! Let us know what the result is!!!

Have managed half hours work in between posts dreading what state DH will be coming home in!!! Last time he went out he threw up for ages before he went to bed. I made him sleep in the sofa and will do tonight if he is in a state!!!!! Otherwise the snoring gets too much and the smell of stale alcohol is worse!!!! I'm getting old!

CranberryJelley · 04/12/2006 00:13

For Flame

CranberryJelley · 04/12/2006 00:13

For Flame

3Kissesunderthemistletoe · 04/12/2006 00:44

EXCELLENT!!!!!!

I have completed my spreadsheet, time for bed now. Still no DH!!!!

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 07:40

Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erm.... still not had any periods Friz We're ignoring my headache, heartburn and sickness this morning and blaming it on the one glass of wine I had last night

Oh, and DD was around during/after a vodka session, and she turned out ok.... or maybe that explains a few things

Seriously though, I have squiggly lines in my eyes this morning, so I think all my symptoms are the start of a migraine, but because my sister is home (and Psychomum is probably ill still), I can't throw my babies at Psycho and take to bed with pills, so I will end up with full blown migraine followed by the headache from hell for a week

(Oh, in case you were wondering, MNHQ thought sad , envy and angry would be innappropriate festive )

MRM - @ the pirate family! At least he did actually do all your family though... DD had to draw hers and she did Mummy, Daddy, Bronwyn and Kieron (SSis Son!!!!!!!!!!!) Poor Emrys was nowhere in sight. Oh, and the Ixel bit was that it suddenly dawned on me that you weren't always MRM.

Oi to CSWS - I'll have you know that I did understand MRCSWS so there!

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 04/12/2006 07:48

I like them!! Suppose sad etc would be a nit tactless though!

The pirate thing is a photo Its the only one we have with the whole family on so we had to use it! The picture he drew for 'my 1st picture for nursery' was 'This is Daddy with lots of hair. This is Baby Bram with long legs'.

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 07:56

If it helps... I can't think of a full family shot for us - The closest would be missing DD, but Cap'n Sparrow, his pirate missus and baby Jac Jac

Gotta get off here... tis really not helping the head

OnXmasdayinthemorgan · 04/12/2006 07:58

Look i'm posting again

3k - hope dh was ok when he got home.

Friz - do another test.

DD has still got temp but no spots. Also her two top teeth look very close to coming through so maybe it's that.

We have a nine foot fake tree up now - our main room is big. Also doing another tree for ds and dd upstairs.

OnXmasdayinthemorgan · 04/12/2006 08:01

for flame's head hope it is not too bad.

we have one picture of all four of us taken at rugby 7's last friday.

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 04/12/2006 08:27

9 foot tree

Ous is about 3ft and thats quite enough Its right in front of the pc as that was the only ds2proof place, so I'm going to get annoyed with it very quickly!

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 08:32

We couldn't fit a 9ft tree...

DH called and asked me to take the second test (was worried about the sickness and that I never took a second after 2 weeks) - all clear

OnXmasdayinthemorgan · 04/12/2006 08:39

I know it's mad - the rooms here have very high ceilings - everything is on a bigger scale

Flame glad to hear no surprises with the test.

CantSleepWithSanta · 04/12/2006 10:42

Friz - have you tested again yet?

flame - hope your head isn't too horrendous. Have thankfully only ever had 2 migraines myself, but they weren't fun, so I sympathise.

Also at 9 ft tree, and at how many of you have got decs up already! I have to have a real tree, so won't be getting it for a couple more weeks yet. We did have a Christmas card arrive this morning though!

Yay for Ben and his walker. 'Hello puppy calling do you want to play with me, let's have fun together while you learn your abc...' Ah yes, know it all too well!

Well we had another not tres good night last night. Have made docs appointment for this afternoon so that he can give her the once over, and hopefully give something to shift her cough. Realised that it is now 3 months that she's had it for .
