Tra la la. ds2 in bed at 7pm, woke once, back to sleep with a cuddle from dh,then slept till 5.15am
I'm hoping this isnt the reason, but I slept in the spare room last night as an experiment; do you think he slept because he knew I wasnt there anyway? Maybe not, as he knows he only gets a bottle in the night now. Maybe it was just the calpol. Third tooth looking very toothy now, fourth one just visible!

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/11/2006 08:36

Well the best way to find out mrm would be to sleep in the spare room again.

Think we must still be teething here. Awake 2:20 for a feed, slept for 10 mins then woke again, forced against will to take medised (had had nurofen a little while before bed too), given another feed and put back to bed. Settled quickly, slept for 45 mins, woke and moaned for 15 mins then back to sleep. Think she's just waking up again now, so our plans for today are a bit messed up. She won't get a nap before we go to the outlaws for lunch, so will have to have a shorter than normal one in the car.

for croup - would have thought that was a good enough reason to keep her off school!

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 09:16

As everyone yelled at me "Take a test woman!"

mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 10:08
mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 10:10

Oh, and I found my insurance quote flame, so that must 've been what was in my head You'll be pleased to know that I've added contents onto the buildings until the renewel date in Feb!

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 10:34

MRM's got a crush on the lodger!!!

(Hoping Mr MRM doesn't read this... what with that and the FlamePirate thing he's gotta be a bit paranoid )

Thankyou for doing the contents - The woman opposite my mum's house went up in flames in the summer, and seeing her trudging back and forth with charred things was so sad The thought of losing all your precious things and not being able to get anything else is horrible.

Still gettin excited about machine... looking out the window every 2 seconds

Jelley · 29/11/2006 10:37

I'm excited about your machine, too.

Agree re the contents insurance. Really shouldn't be optional. (I'd have no carpets without it, too)

hotmama · 29/11/2006 10:48

Will you lot stop posting so much - i'll never catch up at this rate!

Frizbe - are you up the duff?

Doing one handed typing as dd2 is asleep on my shoulder. She has a terrible cough like she smokes Park Drive!

Dd2 is standing uploads and has started doing proper cruising.

Got dd2's 8-12 month check-up next Monday - she is def doing things earier than dd1 - but then dd2 does weigh a lot less!

Hope you are all well, I am going to sit down as my back is killing me ( because of holding dd2).

mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 10:59

ds2 still not cruising, even though he's been upright for ages!

Flame, not a crush, just a bit of history Have some nostalgic memories of just before/after getting pg with ds1, although I suspect time has made them nicer, as i seem to also remember being very peed off at times then!

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 11:07

MRM... you tell yourself that then

I was wondering if being a lot lighter has an effect too!!!

mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 11:46

Eh??

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 13:20

lol - that was about HM's DD doing things earlier than her other one did!!

I have a shiney new washing machine All chuffed with myself for plumbing it in!

dewmeadow · 29/11/2006 13:21

Its like the mummys on eth bus from "The Wheels on the Bus" song - chitter chatter chitter chatter!!

Frizbe - do a test quick!

Flame - has it arrived yet? V good summary of main Mn, which I rarely go on atm - it sounds like a scarey place sometimes. Wasnt aware of the Xmas thing because of not goign on main MN, but sounds brilliant. I Agree with you Flame - that soirt of thing restores my faith in human nature, and the unselfishness of some people is just heartwarming. How can anyone criticise that?

Whoever farted on line - [holds nose emoticon]

My baby is now 3 and started playgroup this morning. thought Id have to stay for a while, but she was so engrossed she didnt even have time to say bye to me. Felt proud of my big girl and also a wee bit "ye wee bitch, say bye bye to your mummy, the centre of your universe!"

DS is babbling a lot but no words. Just about crawling but definitely not walking. nearly has about 8 teeeth.

Away for a stroy and a nap

dewmeadow · 29/11/2006 13:22

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! [happy dance emoticon] for Flames new machine. NOw we wont have to be polite and pretend not to hold our noses!!

mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 13:38

Exciting Very impressed with your self plumbing. But am waiting for you to come back and say it doesnt wash right, then find out the pipes are on the opposite way round or something

Lesson learnt today, and will be using this as a tip for a comp... if you want to do tie dying with a 3yr old, think very carefully about what colour you've always wanted your kids to be when buying the dye!! I now have a purple boy.

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 13:51

I'm about to go out and look for puddles... [girn]

Purple boys are goooooooooooooooooooooood

MrCSWS · 29/11/2006 14:01

Flame

Congrats as to the plumbing, DW would not be so brave and she wouldn't let me, even with my techy background, as i am a bit ham-fisted.

Any ideas as to the "partner in crime"

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 14:20

Hmm... a little puddle where the draining tube wasn't yanked through enough. All sorted and nappies going round now

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 14:21

Considering staring at all MN sternly until someone spills

mustrunmore · 29/11/2006 14:49

Now he's purple with patches of black And so is my bathroom!

Jelley · 29/11/2006 15:38

@ purple and black tie dyed boy.

for the washing machine.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/11/2006 16:52

Ahhhhh - clean nappies - lovely . You're a bit dopey though flame. Partner in crime should be quite obvious! Partner in more ways than one.
