  • Thanks for the offer but DH would never let me have someone iron for us considering I also do my nanna's so therefore really should learn to keep on top of ours - might help if he chipped in too though !
Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:09

lmao I was thinking "doesn't she do ironing anyway?"

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 18:09

Wow! I bet you were so chuffed - can you name the dubious - I'm on MSN too if you can tell me on there?

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 18:10

I clean and iron - am just crap at keeping on top of my own

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:10

Scroll down to Monday morning and innocent faces

mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 18:14

Might have been someone who's awake alot; obviuosly had plenty of time to think what to get

Won some kids books; will go in my present box for birthdays etc Have done some really shit tips to enter the comps lately, as I've just run out of proper ones, not being a very good parent and all that!

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:14

Just realised that I never explained why Tab's phrase was interesting... Santa used the same phrase as his email title...

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:15

I'm on a mission to only admit very odd amusing ones now

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 18:21

Wow! Is about all I can say

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 18:31

Blimey, I turn my back for 10 mins.....!

mrm - meant to say I'd seen that you'd won - congrats!

Also meant to give an update on my miserable bf thread that I had last week. Looks like it was all down to 2 weeks of teething, as we are bf much less this week, and eating better again. Biting still happens, but less than it did, so things are looking up again. Just have to wait and see what happens when the next tooth arrives now!

flame - I forgot to ask about the emphasis on interesting - what a coincidence!

Chloe - I want an update please on Oscar's walking/talking habits! He's been my closest comparator for Pippa for ages, so I need to know .

ellenrose · 28/11/2006 18:51

Me too - have been trying to read through but lost the plot.

Hello everyone

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 18:52

Well, we are still just getting 4/5 steps from one person to another unaided. He is standing on his own really well now though - he even dances without holding on, in fact that's when he has most balance (must take after his mum, certainly not his dad ) As for talking we randomly get mumma, daddy, nanna and yeah - not necessarily in the right context though How about Pippa?

Jelley · 28/11/2006 19:05

Hello

You've been chatting when I'm not here again.

Thanks for the rundup Flame. Since I'm here all the time you'd think I'd know it all, but I didn't realise Cowmad had a hand in mb leaving (didn't she have a go at her before?)

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 19:05

Well behind Oscar now then! No 'real' words, just lots of mumbling chatter! She's walking with a walker, and has stood for a couple of seconds on her own, more frequently over the last few days, but certainly not walking on her own yet.

OP posts:
Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 19:20

He actually did the more confident steps last week - he seems to have given up a bit these past few days, he seemed to get sturdy on his feet pretty quickly, I'm sure this time next week Pippa will be standing twice as well.

Jesus - the dog has farted and it is almost making me gip - sorry just though I'd share that with you.

So, why has MB left? And what did cowmad say?

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 19:33

Cowmad has had it in for MB for months I don't know what was said last night, but by all accounts it was more hurtful than you could imagine to a woman who's husband is dying

Frizbe · 28/11/2006 20:01

grrr makes me so mad the way stupid people, usually the ones who wouldn't say boo to anyone in RL, get all bolshy behind a keyboard for MB........

Anyway hello ladies, glad to see everyone appears to be well??

No talking babies here, bar a hiya sound, and two attempts at her sisters name, which we can just make out
Just a quick pop on tonight from me just to check on you all, but have promised dh I will spend evening with him so better hop to it really and open the plonk! particularly as ones period appears to be AWOL.....

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 20:14

Oh yes, talking of periods, I am now a mooncup user .

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 22:00

Harrumph - another lonely evening with no-one to talk to! Even mum has been no company as she's been asleep on the sofa for the last 40 mins!

OP posts:
MrCSWS · 28/11/2006 22:11

Feeling lonely, not even a husband to talk to?

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 22:25

Tee hee - hello lovely dh! Am off to bed now, once I've woken mother up. No doubt she'll be moaning that she's been awake since 5 again tomorrow!

OP posts:
MrCSWS · 28/11/2006 22:29

nighty night. like our own private forum tonight

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2006 07:36

pmsl @ you two talking on MN to eachother

I will be online tonight so there

Hurrah for mooncup.

DD appears to have croup Poor little thing coughed for half the night - I intentionally brought DS in with us for the last feed because otherwise he would have been awake yelling "B-B-B-B-B-B" at her at half six... hoping to leave her to sleep as long as possible (no school today - waiting for machine ). Damn - I hear footsteps

Words - we have mammammammammamama, daddadddadddada, and Bbbbbbbbbbb (Bronwyn) - the clearest is mamma, the rest are just babbling sounds.

Jelley · 29/11/2006 07:44

Very sweet chatting on mn

No words here.

Up 3 times before 11.30 lst night, when I gave in and fed him.
