mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 09:05

got the email csws, thanks.

Er, who else is leaving mn then? Saw that MB is, but somewhere it said 2 people were. What have I missed again?

Jelley · 28/11/2006 09:39

Hi, email received here, too.
Don't know who's leaving apart from mb

postman has just delivered a box with mumsnet written on it.

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 09:42

I only knew about MB too

Back to just warm fuzzies today.

Was cr*p again in the night with DS It gets past about 3am and I have no will power whatsoever!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 09:50

niceglasses mentioned on MB's thread that she was off too.

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 09:56
Sad
CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 11:52

Just to briefly bring the subject back to our babies (), had DD weighed this morning and she is lighter now than 2 months ago! In fact she is no longer heavy enough to be in her forward facing car seat, though I'm not going to move her back for the sake of such a piddly amount. She's now 50th centile.

There was another baby who was just under 9 months in the waiting room, and she said 'hello', quite clearly . Do we have babies saying real words on this thread?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 12:55

ds2 says 'yeah' if that counts as a word[ grin]
He's now got two teeth showing at the top.
And he had no milk between 7pm and 5.15am Woke a few times, but patted him back to sleep.
The 5.15 milk was a bottle though, the one he's normally havre in the early hours. Drank 200ml, and decided he still wanted a half hour bf, and was still wide awake after that So we've been up forever today!

Jelley · 28/11/2006 13:11

Were you still up with ds1 or did you get to sleep that long?

We've had only one feed in the night (1-2am) and up at 6. Last night he played in his cot for over an hour before sleeping, but didn't cry

No words. My baby is much too tiny to speak. I am in denial about him becoming a toddler.

Flame - can I tumble dry those nappies?
Don't want to kill them, they are lovely.
(All my white ones are now ice blue)

mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 13:40

you forget, I drink gallons of water and am up 4 times a night for a wee

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 14:06

You can tumble them low, but its best not to do it too often incase it upsets the elastic (you don't want crying elastic )

No speaking here, but we do appear to have a tooth bump!!!

Feelin the pain of no sleep

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 17:05

where is everybody?? What's the dame gone??

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2006 17:22

Yes there don't seem to be many of us around at the moment do there? Am guessing that PG has got no broadband whilst she switches suppliers, but it does seem to be taking a long time. No idea where Chloe's got to, or dame, or anyone else for that matter. Been a while since we had an update from JuA as well hasn't it - I bet she's got her hands full with the twins to look after as well as her other DD.

Bet Morgan is lurking - come and say hello you miserable old bag!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 17:32

Yeah, insulting people often gets em out and posting

Morgan you smell!!!

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 17:38

Hiya ladies,

I haven't been on for a while, not sure why just seemed to get caught up in RL!

Can I have a summary from someone please - I have a headache and am too lazy to read through properly - kinda skimmed the past few days and has someone been upsetting someone or something?

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 17:49

OOoh summary of main MN... Cod started a thread complaining that there were too many "I'm skint" type threads where everyone donates money, it then spiralled into people being convinced she meant that the xmas thing is a bad idea and those receiving aren't necessarily in need, then people started googling postcodes to see how poor an area their recievers lived in... then the recievers started justifying their spends through emails to their santas

mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 17:58

And Flame no longer has stinky clothes

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 17:59

Thanks - some people are just bloody scrooges - I take it is some kind of secret santa thing people are doing? There will alwyas be fakes but I guess people are big enough to use their own judement and give if they want to. How come it helps your clean washing? Are you receiving clothes or is someone washing for you? I could really do with someone ironing for me I have literally filled my spare room with clean washing

mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 18:00

And I won the mn competition this week Just hope the tip I did it with never makes the front page!

mustrunmore · 28/11/2006 18:03

Oops, x post. Flame got a new WASHING MACHINE FROM HER MN GIVER!!

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 28/11/2006 18:05

F**k me!!!! - Did you really? Do you know who it was from? How generous is that??!!

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:05

Atm I still have very stinky clothes.

Tomorrow a washing machine is being delivered care of a split personality santa

I'll do ironing for you for a small fee Just post me crumpled stuff and I'll iron, post back, and watch it get recrumpled.

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2006 18:07

One person is being decidedly dubious but I have not been told any confirmed names (and I really wanna know!!!)

MRM - what did you win???? ANd what was your tip?
