I think the cleansing thing might be a good idea....

mustrunmore · 26/11/2006 21:44

Maybe. But the question is, if it is ghosters, why am I not scared by it all? Bearing in mind I'm a complete wuss, and jump if dh comes into a room quietly.

mustrunmoresghost · 26/11/2006 21:50

Whooooo oooooooo ohohohohohohohoh whooooooooooo

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/11/2006 21:56

Maybe it's related to the thread..... 'WHY does our fridge make noises like a distant crying baby?'
You can have one entitled 'Why does our ghost make noises like a distant dehumidifier?'

You're all cheeky mares.

But I'll let you away with it as its nearly xmas

3k · 26/11/2006 22:07

Evening ladies,

Oooo scary ghosters!!! Whilst my friend was babysitting last weekend my living room door opened on its own!!! I have been sitting in there before now and it has slammed really hard shut!! We havent had a lot going on since DS was born although my dog Max has stared at empty spaces next to his moses basket before. Perhaps we all have spooks looking after our LO's.

Had friends round for dinner today which was nice. Going to see a friend from babygroup in the morning and then picking up pixifotos from Bluewater on Tuesday. Not a lot on otherwise except work.

mustrunmore · 26/11/2006 22:09

csws; at work (in the old old days preLex), my staff once complained that the fridge was making a funny noise. Turned out to be a mouse trapped in the fan at the back

mustrunmore · 26/11/2006 22:09

Sorry... hello 3k; didnt see you there!

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/11/2006 22:11

What happened to him?

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 07:50

Awwwwwww for the mouse! If it is nice ghosters then you shouldn't feel scared - a bit creeped out at the idea of it maybe, but not uncomfortable. Our one that turned cards around and wandered in and out of the lounge never bothered me - p*ssed me off slightly with turning the dvd player on and off when I was trying to watch something ... its only been the ones that wake up DD that have made me feel horrible.

So much for the sleep resolution I don't even remember bringing him in with us, just being kicked like hell from half five onwards!!

I don't know if one of you is my santa (been thinking lots about people who's rl name I might know), but anyway - I am having a new washing machine delivered on Wednesday !!! I have stopped the hysterical sobbing every time I think about it now... I am still stunned. DH wants to be married to my online persona because he says no-one would wanna buy the rl one something that big

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2006 08:40

Blimey flame, you must think that all of your Christmasses have come at once! lol at your dh though.

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 09:23

Thats a very interesting phrase to use Tabs... My niggling idea that Santa might be suffering from a multiple personality is returning...

Now got some image in my head like Legion from Red Dwarf - this being in a big red hat with a sort of merged face with one person's eyes, another's nose etc

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 09:24

DH also muttered that I should have mentioned having a broken laptop I don't think he's got the idea of how this works...

Jelley · 27/11/2006 09:28

WOW Flame that is wonderful

(Tisn't me . I'm getting a new coat, and maybe a Christmas tree)

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2006 09:28

You've lost me flame?

OP posts:
Jelley · 27/11/2006 09:29

I know Legion (wel not personally...) so that is going to be my Santa image too, now.

Jelley · 27/11/2006 09:31

the innocent face is not convincing.

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 09:40

It looks striking like DD's "I didn't do anything. Nothing! I go sit on the stairs" face

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 09:41

strikingly

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2006 10:09

Ahhhhh, I bet she'd dead cute when she does that flame.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 27/11/2006 10:17

Oh wow!!! A washing machine??!!

I got my match; I just hope the stuff is ok, as i've gonr down the stocking fillers route for the boy, clothes for baby, a tiny gift for Mum, and tinsel/paperchains etc to put in the box. Dh said it was a good idea, but then I added up my chitty for this month (I buy food etc and essentials, and he pays me back after payday, a very bizarre system, but we dont have a joint account). He had a fit because it was £400, so I dont think I'll mention money matters again for a while! Dont blame him though, as he worked an 18 hour shift, for £188 extra before tax, which only just makes a whole in the £400 Anyway, now I'm rambling...

Oh, and told a friend about the ghoster voices, and she says she heard a child laughing outside the kitchen window (no kids there), which is where I heard the voices. {hmm} Am going to quiz her and she if she's serious.

mustrunmore · 27/11/2006 10:18

Oh, and the fridge mouse at work was horribly squished in the fan

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2006 10:29

That all sounds lovely MRM

mustrunmore · 27/11/2006 10:30

What, even the squished mouse?!
