Hmmm... I think the plastic on the double glazed door might do odd things if it gets planed . I think it is something to do with the actual door frame. The pointing (?sp) is wrecked over the door, it came pouring through the ceiling with a storm in the summer, and the ceiling over the door is all bowed now

MrsDoolittle · 24/11/2006 11:35

Okay Thanks Ladies.
I simply wouldn't have the time to be bf anymore either.
I am genuinely impressed with those of you that still are though, I'm aware that my impatience is very often a failing.

btw I think we are going to have puppies soon

hub2dee · 24/11/2006 11:39

Blimey FD. That sounds most odd and rather crap indeed. I hope you can smash it back into shape with a hammer then.

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 14:03

flame, things like that always happen here too!
Although the last thing was ds1 running in and shutting the door after shopping. Fine as I still had the key. Except he'd put the chain on, and I had to force the door, pulling the chain out of the frame, to get into him because he couldn't work out how to open it.

hotmama · 24/11/2006 20:13

(Hotmama stretches her hands to crack her knuckles)

Right, both dd's in bed asleep - check.
Oven on to cook pizza - check.
Red wine in glass ready to drink - check.
Hotmama up for a night of gossip - check.

Come on then girls.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 20:31

Evening hotmama. Looking forward to a good pizza once I eventually give up breastfeeding (cheese not allowed).

DD just settled so in for an hour or so MNing whilst I watch Corrie and Eastenders.

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 21:03

Do an non cheesy one.

When I die, i'm going out of stubbornness too; could've written that episode!

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 21:05

Oh no - you've just given something away haven't you - I'm watching behind time on Sky+!!!!!

Have done fake cheese pizza, but it's just not the same as a lovely stuffed crust is it!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 21:07

soya chese is vile. I'd rather have nothing. But I saw a thing on telly not too long ago; apparently no cheese and raw toppings are the thing .

Haven't given that much away. But will if I try to explain my lack of giving away.

hotmama · 24/11/2006 21:50

Sorry got waylaid eating pizza and watching an episode of "Who do you think you are"

DD's still sleeping and dp is still out, and tv seems to crap so I will be around for a while.

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 21:57

Who was on it?

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 22:06

Hmm - dd woke and cried - very unusual at this sort of time these days. Guessing teeth. Have given medised and a bit of a calming suck, and she's gone back off, bar some intermittent coughing. She really can't seem to shake that at all.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:11

Thought I almost saw a patch of white on ds2's top gum today, but might just be my imagination trying to explain away his bunged up nose and general misery.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 22:15

Do you reckon full on colds/coughs can be due to teething then mrm. Someone told me (wasn't you was it?!) that clear runny snot can be teething, but yellow/thick snot usually isn't - does that sound right?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:24

Reckon they could be, but, then again, it is winter!

How's your knowledge of paypal? I have a very very boring query about money received!

3k · 24/11/2006 22:24

CSWS - Ben had green snot the other week and was put on antibiotics - may be worth getting Pippa checked if it doesnt clear especially with a persistant cough. My cough lasted ages after the cold I had the other week.

I have got a thing about garlic bread - have just put a baguette in the oven - mmmmmmmmm.

DH bringing chinese back in a while - he is on lates this week.

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:26

So's my dh, and I love having time for myself! He's on an 18 hour shift atthe moment though, so not so much fun for him

3k · 24/11/2006 22:27

I quite like the evenings too, DS in bed, sit in front of tv for a few hours or come on here. Bliss

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:32

ds1 is ok now till the early hours; ds2 can wake up anytime due to snot But at least he doesnt have a feed till after 1am at worst now. Today it was 4am!!
Wish I had a laptop like csws though; not very comfy on the kitchen chair!

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 22:40

VERY limited knowledge of paypal mrm - why not post the q in the ebay topic?

OP posts:
3k · 24/11/2006 22:40

I'd like a laptop too, I'm sitting in dining room but that is not comfy either.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2006 22:41

Oh and 3k - my gp is one of those who believes that you shouldn't take medicine for a cough/cold, as it stops it from 'coming out'.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:44

I will do csws , if i dont get a reply email from the buyer soon.

a squeak from upstairs, but all seems to be ok now.

ds1 was asking what 'that shadow' was again today, looking into the ghoster part of the hall

fireflyxmasfairylights2 · 24/11/2006 22:50

mustrunmore · 24/11/2006 22:54

ds1 just shouted out 'no! Stop talking!', but fast asleep when I got up there.
