So I've woken up this morning to find dd has wriggled around 90 degrees in her cot bed...she's wedged herself in such a way that her head is against one side and her feet are against the other HmmGrin..

havent gymnast in the making?

I had my mega massage yesterday. It was beyond amazing. You pick a word off a wall and I went for mind cleanser which involved hot and cold stones with an amazing mix of bright but calming essential oils. The whole thing was done in sync with a music track involving bird song and an orchestra. I genuinely feel positive, purposeful and have more clarity. Reckon I can squeeze one in every week?Grin

Catg, I am green with envy glad you had such a lovely relaxing time, it sounds like a brilliant idea! Wonder if I can convince DP to finance one for me...

Yes to annoying clothing stereotypes! DD does have some clothes that are pink or flowery or have butterflies on. But she also has blue, green, grey clothes etc with jungle animals, foxes and cars on. We are fans of all colours and patterns really!

I have to say, we have had a remarkably beautiful bunch of babies, ladies Grin

OMG. So dd2 is now fine but yesterday the rest of us were struck down by the V & D bug. Horrendous. I do not get sick ever but none of us have escaped. Looking after a baby while faint with a fever is not fun. Dh had to help me crawl into bed and lie her down beside me to feed in the night. This morning I couldnt even change her pooey nappy and had to wait til dh came in to finish the job.
Anyway I think we're all slightly better thus morning but just pretty dehydrated and washed out. Dd1 was a trooper and seems to have bounced right back after an evening of constant vomiting.

sorry to go on but it's unusual for our household to be so sick, I truly hope none of the rest of you experience it anytime soon!

Yes to the gorgeous babies. All so beautiful. Will try to post a pic of dd2 when I can get near my laptop Smile

Right, the picture posting bug has bitten me. Here comes my "boy" in a rare bibless moment :)

In 2 polar opposite messages, catg that sounds AMAZING! Well earned, drop some heavy hints for another one for sure! And greenstone how HORRIFIC! You poor things!! Rest up. (I always laugh when people suggest that...)

Gorgeous day, I've already made one trip to the allotment and now dd has had her lunch and a nap I'm back down there. After the food refusal fun the last few days my sis (font of all baby knowledge for me) suggested 2 spoons, one for her and one for me and it totally worked and she downed all of the carrot and peach puree!! hurrah!!

Close to a new thread - title suggestions?

MrsAukerman · 13/05/2015 15:12

The one where they're on the move??

Strawberryfield12 · 13/05/2015 16:55

The messy one with all the solids etc?

It's 2.5 hours since DD is asleep. It's been months since she had soo long nap. Honestly, I had to check if she is still alive half an hour ago Blush

Annarose2014 · 13/05/2015 23:05

Aaaah everyones babies are amazing! This is the only pic of DS I have on this iPad but at least it shows his ridiculous Tintin hair. Poor lad will have to get on board with hair products at an early age!

dd woke at 5.15 and would not go back down, tried a couple of feeds to sleep and left her in the cot chatting. Gave up at about 6 and brought her into bed with me where she was on the boob for an hour and a half!!! Wtf??? I slept most of the time as did she. So either she was starving or needed some comfort I guess!!

catg83 · 14/05/2015 08:56

Greenstone hope you and yours are all doing better. That sounds horrendous.

MrsAukerman · 14/05/2015 09:43

Dh is on his day off today so I am having as much of a break as a bf mum can. Currently feeding ds to sleep for a nap.
greenstone I hope you're all feeling a lot better, cat I thought for a moment yesterday that I'd met you until I realised that the baby had a name that is just for boys.

MrsAukerman · 14/05/2015 09:45

Any more ideas for thread titles? We need to make sure it lasts a while as we get on and each thread lasts longer.

Annarose2014 · 14/05/2015 11:26

How about the one where they start crawling and giving us heart attacks?

Strawberryfield12 · 14/05/2015 11:42

Like Anna's suggestion, we will have to make sure we are active enough so that the thread is full by the time they start to walk Grin

Arkkorox · 14/05/2015 13:16

The one where they won't stay still?

The one where they're on the move?

Foul weather here, tucked up on sofa with DD as DP away again (golf tour this time) and snuggled under a blanket.

Hope family Greenstone is recovering now!
