Felix he's horrid! Literally the last two weeks. He also has bruised me with how hard he's bitten me. No idea what to do - I say NO and take him away to sit in his own, no attention... Not sure what else to do...

Stayed sooooo near Keswick! We were in the Lodore Falls. Was perfect, just what I wanted - somewhere where they're comfortable with babies, but aren't a "family" hotel. We loved it!

Also we rediscovered our love for the lakes - only 90m/120m from us, so not that far. Where do you recommend? Keswick was gorgeous Grin

Naturegirl82 · 19/03/2015 06:31

angel have you checked out the wonder weeks app? Tantrum throwing is one of the signs! We definitely have it here.

Unsurprisingly O went to bed early last night as she was so tired. Woke at 3 again this morning but I managed to get her back to sleep so she's only just woken at 6 which is far more reasonable.

I ended up coming home from work sick. I've been ill for the past two weeks (probably because of work stress) and I think the early waking just tipped me over the edge. Restricted on what I can take to help as well. Still not feeling great today so will take time off today as too. Definitely finding being pregnant harder this time round.

Hotel sounds great angel. We had our first night away from O the other week and had a mini spa break 20 mins from home! and it was lovely.

FelixFelix · 19/03/2015 12:35

Angel it looks lovely! We always stay in Portinscale a couple of miles walk from keswick. We usually stay in the self catering apartments on Derwent Water Marina (then I get roped in to going kayaking or something equally as awful Grin) but last time we stayed in a lovely apartment a 5 minute walk away as the marina was full. Did you go to the pencil museum?GrinGrin My sister worked at a hotel in windernere for 10 years so we always used to get free trips there. She's moved to scotland now though so she's booking us in to visit at some point this year too.

S was sick twice last night from 5am onwards. It was literally just curdled milk sick so I'm not sure if she's unwell or not. She's not eaten much today but may just be a coincidence. She's not really been physically sick since she was a tiny baby so it's quite unusual!

FelixFelix · 19/03/2015 15:39

I'm thinking of night weaning S again starting tonight, after last nights sick incident. We are going away tomorrow night until Monday to stay at PIL's though. Should I just wait until afterwards or just get on with it tonight? Going to try offering water again as it worked last time.

TobyLerone · 19/03/2015 21:50

I'd probably wait until after you get back, Felix. Then you can just do exactly what worked last time.

M had an excellent night last night. Slept 8.30pm til 4am, woke for a feed, them went back down til 7am.
Taking bets on how many times she'll wake up tonight to make up for it.

FelixFelix · 19/03/2015 22:06

Toby that's good!

I've kind of started it now. I'm worried about her throwing up her milk again. She's just woken up and DP gave her a bottle with some water in but she's shouting at the moment! Not proper crying or anything. I don't know wether to just leave her to it, but it's been 10 mins so far.

FelixFelix · 19/03/2015 22:31

She cried for half an hour so I've given her a bit of milk but not as much as usual. I'll try properly after the weekend I think. It makes more sense.

Naturegirl82 · 20/03/2015 06:34

O slept 7-6 Grin So suprised at the time when I heard her.

Felix good luck with the night weaning.

MrsGSR · 20/03/2015 07:07

L throws tantrums when she's tired or hungry and I take things off her, like my phone. She takes one big step away from me then starts screeching, takes another step and then throws herself on the floor Hmm

FelixFelix · 20/03/2015 08:13

Nature that's great!

Weird night here. When she woke up she would not go back to sleep so ended up coming downstairs for a bit. Went back down after half an hour with no fuss and slept 11ish - 7.30am with no wake ups for milk!! Bizarre.

We will be going to play group at 9.30 this morning and it will be dark Confused

FelixFelix · 20/03/2015 08:14

MrsG that's so dramatic Grin S does this really funny face where she makes an O with her mouth and does really fake 'waaaah' noises. It's so irritating.

Naturegirl82 · 20/03/2015 08:27

O stamps her foot when she is having a tantrum! It's hard not to laugh at her when she does it! Haha!

BookTart · 20/03/2015 19:08

Good sleeping M and S! I have my fingers crossed for you both tonight.

P has an excellent arm flapping action when she tantrums. It is so cute I've now taught her to 'flap like a bird' on demand Smile

Well, today was the hardest day with her that I can remember for months. I took P to some shops half an hour away, because she will now only nap in the car. She tantrummed in every shop. The wobbler she threw in Clarks was so epic that I was moved to apologise to not one but two members of staff Blush I then had to carry her around the shops for two hours. It got much worse when we got home. Thank fuck she is in bed now!

TobyLerone · 21/03/2015 21:05

Hope you've had a better day today, book.

BookTart · 21/03/2015 21:37

We did thanks, although the naps were still traumatic. I hope M had another good night Smile

GunShotResidue · 22/03/2015 11:39

Namechanged from MrsGSR, still kind of GSR :)

DH took L all night last night as I've had very little sleep this week, so I'm feeling great, he's not though! Looking forward to a lazy day today, with a bit of housework.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday :)

TobyLerone · 22/03/2015 14:26

We've been to rugby, came home and had bacon sandwiches, then took DS to his gf's. Now I'm watching Kourtney and Khloé and M is asleep on me. DH hoovered while I was out, which is unheard of!

FelixFelix · 24/03/2015 10:20

Lost the thread somehow!

S is teething again. She's so grumpy. Just been to the doctors for a blood test and there was an old lady in the waiting room trying to get her to smile and S just sat and gave her dead eye Grin She's having a pyjama day today as I came off my bike yesterday and I've knackered my left hand so I struggled to get her dressed. I think we will be watching a lot of cbeebies today...

BookTart · 24/03/2015 10:49

I hope your hand is better soon felix. Every day is a CBeebies day here at the moment! I'm at a loss with what to do with her as she isn't old enough to sit and do an activity with, but needs entertaining for hours at a time. When she finally drops her first nap I'll be totally stuffed!

Naturegirl82 · 24/03/2015 12:49

O has been referred to a urology surgeon. They said this would only happen if they think surgery will be beneficial Sad

Felix hope your hand is better soon

TobyLerone · 24/03/2015 13:02

I am so bored and fed up today. M won't even watch TV so I can't even have a CBeebies day :(

Hope you recover soon, felix.

Scary stuff, nature :(

Naturegirl82 · 24/03/2015 13:12

They did say it may be a possibility. Appointment isn't until May so will just have to be patient and wait till then to find out what they are planning.

FelixFelix · 24/03/2015 14:08

Nature May will come around quickly. At least then you will have more info.

I'm bored today too. It's a nice day out but I am tired and can't be arsed to do anything. S is having a nap and I'm sprawled over the settee watching Friends.

BookTart · 24/03/2015 15:17

If my house and child weren't covered in snot and moon sand (whatever the hell that is) then you could come over and eat cake toby. You're welcome anyway obvs, I'll emergency hoover Smile

I hope the appointment comes around soon nature, it must be worrying for you.

Well, I thought I was doing a bit better, but apparently not. Of all the people at Crazy Lady Craft group, I am the only one they want back next term. This news has depressed me a bit, ironically.

TobyLerone · 24/03/2015 20:22

Aw, I've only just seen this. Thanks anyway, book. I was going to ask you earlier if you fancied doing something today but then I remembered you had basket-weaving.

M has been a tiny bastard today, but I think she was also bored and fed up.
