Loving the Asbo teddy :o I used to have a pink lion thing that went everywhere with me, my parents quietly named it That Wretched Animal. As I can't actually remember the things real name, my parents version stuck...

R has a cow called Baa. Who says Moo Hmm

Nut always here, or on fb if you prefer the privacy, to listen Brew

WOOHOO Spotty nearly all over Thanks

Ugh my fat typing fingers, sorry for all the typos. I don't know why I still type on the app when it is so rubbish!!!!!Angry

Thanks ladies, good to know you don't mind. Although I don't want you to all be bored silly with my ramblings by Christmas Smile

Spotty are you excited?are you reDy? Can you tell us about the cake?? Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 12/11/2014 12:46

I think I'm ready. We're not having a cake ShockGrin not really excited Blush not looking forward to everyone looking at me Blush

MrsNutella · 12/11/2014 12:49

No cake? That's my favourite bit WinkGrin
I know one couple who had cheese (arranged like a cake) instead of a cake and another who had Welsh cakes Hmm. I made mine. The middle layer was red velvet cake. It was awesome!

MrsNutella · 12/11/2014 12:51

DH & DS are poorly (not that you would know DS is sick) with hand foot and mouth.
Well, I guess DH has it too. He was hot this morning and feels all achey & tired. I'm hoping it doesn't make him too poorly.

But for some reason it has made me really want cake!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/11/2014 12:51

We've got a pretty hefty three course meal and it's a lunch time thing so we decided against it Smile we're staying here after!

MrsNutella · 12/11/2014 12:54

Ooohhh that looks lovely! How many nights will you be there?

SpottyTeacakes · 12/11/2014 12:56

Just the one then New York on 3rd December. So bloody excited! First time away from the dc though Shock

Stacks · 12/11/2014 16:36

At playgroup today there was a "nature treasure box" for the kids to play with. T picked up a shell, put it to his ear and waited. Then said "seaside broken, ran out of batteries, not working anymore". He's been watching Peppa Pig with the seaside episode :)

halestone · 12/11/2014 17:44

Oooo Spotty exciting, and the hotel looks lovely.

Nutella i hope DS and DH are feeling better soonThanks

Stacks haha thats funny, i love that thought it was broken.

H is a weird child i have lost count of the amount of times shes shoved her feet and my face today and demanded that i kiss her feet Confused

PurplePidjin · 12/11/2014 17:51

MrsNut hope they're feeling better soon Thanks

Spotty that looks amazing Envy

Stacks bless!

hales R likes to poke his feet into my face Confused I keep reminding him to be gentle, I'm a bit under the weather at the moment - not ill per se but a bit achy and getting tired faster than I think I ought to - so we're doing lots of Kind Hands etc. I don't buy into the stereotype that Boys Must Be Rough, all the men I know and like are kind to their friends!

Next week spotty! Try not to worry about all eyes on you - next week it will all seem right and they will excited, loving, teary eyes. Is dd excited? Lush looking hotel and NYC - amazing!
Hope everyone feels better soon. Hand foot and mouth can make them feel quite rotten.

WLmum · 12/11/2014 23:01

Too right pidj. T loves me to 'bite' her piggies and sticks them up every nappy change.

utopian99 · 13/11/2014 09:20

Exciting spotty! Looking forward to pics once you find time after the honeymoon..

Quick announcement - O's little brother joined us 5 days early last night. Emcs which is a real bummer, but staff lovely, have managed lots of skin to skin, and feeding seems to have settled first time, which is nice..

halestone · 13/11/2014 09:28

MrsNutella · 13/11/2014 14:09

I have red velvet cake in the oven - anyone want a slice? Everyone welcome Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 13/11/2014 14:19

Mmm me! Ds has been asleep almost 2.5 hours might have to wake him up. I've managed to wrap all of their stocking presents ShockGrin

MrsNutella · 13/11/2014 14:43

Sooooo I'm obviously somewhat behind in present buying Confused

I might have to find someone to make me some Smile

MrsNutella · 13/11/2014 14:45

Oops. I over edited my post GrinI need some Christmas stockings making for the DC's with their names on. We had some when we were kids. My Mum made them and they were great in their simple homemade-ness .

WLmum · 13/11/2014 20:59

Loving your work utopian! Got yourself a cracker there. Give him a big sniff for me. Xx

halestone · 13/11/2014 23:53

Haha WL that comment made me laugh Grin

Nutella go over to the christmas bargain thread and have a nose theres loads of ideas and you don't even need to leave your house for most of them.

I went back to the chippy tonight after 2 weeks off it was nice being back but H wanted to come with me i felt horrible saying no. Luckily Dp distracted her so i could leave.

utopian99 · 14/11/2014 05:12

Hehe wl - he is soo small compared to O!
Nutella, I'm well behind on presents too, and no prospect of quiet shopping/making time now!

I have managed to get a couple of hours' sleep! A decided to cluster feed from 11.30pm but I have propped us both so he can and no risk in bed. Miraculously we've been left to it by the frankly scary night midwife!
