Oh no beasty that's the sort of thing my DH would do - never thinks of the consequences. I've always loved any odd horse rides I've had but I think I'd be scared to let the dds up there!
utopian that does sound cute.
hales T has been swanning about in a princess dress singing bits from frozen today - so cute but so girly! Is H a belieber now?
We had a family swim today and then I cooked an awesome roast this afternoon.

halestone · 09/11/2014 22:59

WL hopefully not a Belieber (i may cry) She sings the chorus to All about the base quite alot. She also sings frozen songs and she loves singing/dancing to Shake it Off by Taylor Swift i blame the car journeys for that H loves dancing Grin

A roast sounds lovely i need to make one soon but i'm making scotch broth for tea tomorrow.

Morning all, I just can't seem to keep up with threads these days. I've had a go at reading back though.

Sorry for your loss mama, hope the trip to NZ goes as well as it can.
Nuttella DD has never slept anywhere but in the sling or in bed with me. It's bloody hard work, but I'm kind of tapped into it now. Don't have the time without DS to try training DD into sleeping elsewhere. I'm also afraid of trying to get her to sleep in her bed at night, as she's up every two hours overnight even in bed with me. I'm sure it'll all come good soon. Maybe I'll get the chance to do some sleep fixing over the Christmas break while DH is home.

DS had a temp last night, but otherwise seems ok. Not sure what to do with him today. I guess playgroup should be ok, don't want to spread whatever he's got though.

DD suddenly seems to have noticed DS, she laughs hysterically at him now. So cute.

MrsNutella · 10/11/2014 14:17

Hales how could you let H even be aware of JB? That is a terrible thing to expose a child to.
I had to buy my niece a one direction cd in the past. I told my brother that wasn't fair (he is nine years older) because he was seriously judgemental of the CDs I requested when I was young.

Utopian pomegranates are awesome! But is there an easy way to get the filling out?

Stacks yes that all sounds quite familiar! Sympathy and Thanks is all I have. Brew

My therapist is off on maternity leave now Confused it's kind of weird. But I'm also trying to think about the future and what I want for me. It'sodd.

Omg pidj!! I'm so not ready for them to be 2!! Where are our little babies?
nutella I hope that's not going to leave you in a tricky position? Have you got a replacement lined up?

halestone · 10/11/2014 21:37

Pidj, thats flown when is R's birthday?

Nutella, i think you will do well while your therapist has gone.

Stacks, it must be lovely watching the interaction between your DC. I often think that i'm being mean by not having another child for H to play with.

Well tonight has involved the funniest temper tantrum i have ever witnessed. H wanted wheels on the bus on, on my phone so i found it put it on, cue tears it was the wrong one despite it being the one we always put on There was screaming and shouting amd foot stomping whilst me and Dp were told by a 1 year old that 'its not funny'. We tried desperately not to laugh she then grabbed my phone and scrolled to another wheels on the bus put it on and the screaming and shouting started again.

I told come on bed time your obviously tired. We both took her upstairs she cried all the way so i pretended to cry. She stopped turned around on the stairs her finger went up into the air and i was told very firmly 'mummy you not do that, i do that' she then turned amd carried on crying and walking like her world had ended. I put her into bed still trying my best to stifle the giggles as she was asleep within 2 minutes. I have no idea where it came from but i now know that i need to control the urge to laugh.

PurplePidjin · 10/11/2014 22:03

week on Wednesday Shock Shock Shock

hales that's hilarious Grin

OP posts:
WLmum · 10/11/2014 22:42

hales if only you'd caught that in camera! £250 and a red faced 18th!

halestone · 10/11/2014 22:50

haha WL that £250 would come in handy as well. I will have my camera with me at all times from now on.

Wow Pidj it doesn't feel real that they are turning 2 already.

halestone · 11/11/2014 09:43

Dd is a morning person she wakes up happy every morning. This surprises me as me and her dad are definitely not morning people. This morning she has told me 'look father christmas, i excited'. She then thought for a minute and said 'i open presents?' Her older cousin is obvioudly rubbing off on her.

halestone · 11/11/2014 16:04

I've just been shopping in Lidl wow I got so much shopping and only spent £80 the shopping will last me the month Grin

PurplePidjin · 11/11/2014 17:12

I got R the most awesome waterproof snow boots in Lidl at the weekend, they have disco lights in the heels :o

halestone · 11/11/2014 17:33

Pidj i got some for H to they are amazing :-) Shes already tested them in a muddy puddle Grin

PurplePidjin · 11/11/2014 17:36

According to R they're Me's Shuz. He appears to have got the hang of apostrophes of possession Hmm

OP posts:
halestone · 11/11/2014 17:41

Haha it took a while to get them off H, i'm hoping the waterproof coats and pants are there when i go back. It is an amazing shop.

MrsNutella · 11/11/2014 19:18

Lidl and Aldi Kids Winter gear is usually a bun fight when they have it here. I got some for DS to use at nursery. Sadly haven't managed to get him and boots or wellies.
And he has just gone up a size too. Hurrah!Confused

MrsNutella · 11/11/2014 19:19

And I think it was Aldi had some microwave slippers in recently, I was intrigued but not really that tempted Grin

WLmum · 11/11/2014 21:03

Wish we had a lidl!

WLmum · 11/11/2014 22:43

So dd2 took her favourite teddy to school today - he's called 'asbo'!! 'He' wears a pink hoodie and when he was bought for dd1 originally we had so many teddys and bunnys that we made up names for them to amuse our tiny minds and differentiate between the current and last weeks favourite. Due to the hood, asbo became asbo and it stuck. Bet they laughed/worried in the staff room!

halestone · 12/11/2014 08:49

WL thats a story that will be getting told round the dinner table last night Grin

MrsNutella · 12/11/2014 09:08

Wl haha that's a great story! DS's current favourites are Qua Qua (as always. He is mad about penguins) and a rabbit he was given by the neighbours "Dabit" I love how he says Dabit. It is sooooo cute!

Thanks for asking about the therapy she is planning on starting back to a bit of work in March. In the meantime there will be someone else I can see if I want to/need to. But I don't really to. I don't want to have to go through all the explaining and have a different opinion or advice to deal with, even it might be the same Smile I really like my therapist. But I'm open to seeing hoe I go.

utopian99 · 12/11/2014 09:17

We're not therapists nut, but you can always talk to us too!

halestone · 12/11/2014 09:25

Nut i agree with Utopian you can always speak to us.

H has a Lion teddy that goes everywhere with her except she calls it Little Dinosaur.

SpottyTeacakes · 12/11/2014 10:05

Argh I'm getting married next week! So much stress for our quiet stress free wedding!
