Offer a whole cock PR and you might get some takers.

Thank you for hugs

Wanda get well soon x

Kyz · 04/06/2014 21:11

I was just about to say wanda it wouldn't do to go to bed without it now would it Wink. That was before I knew of the french gland business. Which sounds wrong, when put like that. Anyway..

I'm glad you enjoy reading our snippets, I worry sometimes I waffle a bit loads but figured you could all just do a bit of scrolling if you wished :)

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/06/2014 22:24

kyz love the image of E eating his pasta. My flight is only a couple of hours (going to spain) so should be fine. We did a 5hr flight last yr so this should be a walk in the park.

wanda hope you feel better tomorrow.

E has had what I call an acid attack today. She was fine all day then started doing that brown horrible coffee coloured sick when we were in the car going to a friends. She did it whilst we were there too and went all lathargic and sleepy. The only thing she has had different is toddler milk 1yr + as opposed to follow on milk. Am bloody annoyed at myself for giving it to her.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/06/2014 22:38

Coffee sick? Like grains of coffee or just the colour? I ask because coffee puke is often used to describe puked up digested blood. Might be worth getting her checked?

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/06/2014 22:42

thanks pr coffee coloured. she did use to occasionally have what was like coffee grains in her vomit. I remember stunt in particular helping me one night to try and decipher what sort of sick it was. It really isn't like normal sick and smells something else! But think this time round it was just dark brown as opposed to anything else.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/06/2014 22:59

Ok. Just wanted to point it out. Hope she's better tomorrow x Is her weight and general thriviness continuing to improve? I often think of her.

ValiumQueen · 05/06/2014 06:20

Eliza that concerns me. Please get her seen by a Dr today. Unless she has had coffee coloured food she should not have coffee coloured sick, and the going lethargic and sleepy bit is a concern to me. Considering her history and the fact she is still so dinky I really would be wanting to get her checked. I am not a Dr though.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/06/2014 06:41

Morning quiche. Another bad night here for my sleep.

ValiumQueen · 05/06/2014 06:44

Oh no PR. What was it?

J slept until 5.30. I was woken at 4 by DH sobbing. I thought his mum had died, but he reassured me it was just a cramp. Bless him.

Sorry for your DH but I just laughed. Bless.

ValiumQueen · 05/06/2014 07:02

Bust insomnia. DH has that too (grin, as I don't trust the emoticons)

ValiumQueen · 05/06/2014 07:03

He was proper sobbing. I must admit I stifled a chuckle too.

ValiumQueen · 05/06/2014 07:04

I hope your lunch date accepts your communication without adding more stress x

StuntNun · 05/06/2014 07:50

I have a Kindle Paperwhite for reading in bed PR. It has a dimmable backlit screen so you can just have it as bright as you need to read without waking anyone else up.

I put spare ribs in the slow cooker last night and have woken up to a sticky burnt mess. Sad

On the plus side, everyone in the Stunt household slept through last night. GrinGrinGrin J off egg/dairy/soya and on Omeprazole is a very different person. I'm not convinced he's totally fixed yet but it's a very good start.

Morning quiche,

What is the deal with the weather over here? I was not prepared for the cold.

Journey was ok but avoid it as much as possible doing it alone. The flight was perfect, she slept all the way and I woke her when we were leaving the plane but the car transfer was horrendous. She was overtired, car seat was awful. She woke at 5 am so I'm just getting ready to go out and get coffee.

Exam is at 2 than freedom!

PetiteRaleuse · 05/06/2014 08:07

Good luck lily

I have kindle on the ipad stunt and could dim the screen but I don't like screens in bed. Psychological maybe but it doesn't feel like a book iyswim and won't relax me as much.

Wandathewindfairy · 05/06/2014 08:07

Are you staying with friends lily? Who is having O during your exam?

Obviosuly if we hadn't moved last August I would have defo been at Euston on Saturday.

My gland is still swollen and sore, but I had an early night last night with ibuprofen and started the day with paracetamol. I am feeling reasonably functional at the mo. I have an appetite but my my throat is sore when I eat. No temp I don't think, one more earlyish night I should be ok for tomorrow.

Is my last working day today as well. Maybe a bit if curling up on the sofa wouldn't go amiss.

O got up at 6 but he has been so whingey and clingy I have just put him back to bed for an hour. He waved night night to DS1 and was quite happy about it so I assume that is what he needed.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/06/2014 08:27

If it was your last working day at work wanda you would hopefully be pissing about clearing your desk, doing as little as possible and bunking off early. I think curling up on the sofa is perfectly acceptable. :o

Sorry your gland is still swollen. Can yo go to gp tomorrow if you are still feeling rough?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 05/06/2014 08:31

I'm home. Bedtime was a full on disaster last night as expected due to cosleeping half of every night on holiday in order to get more than 3 hours sleep! Back to cc it is....

L
I'll attempt to catch up with this thread at least..... Be back soon.

Oh and dd has an induction at primary school today!! How on earth do I have a daughter old enough for school!

PetiteRaleuse · 05/06/2014 08:46

Welcome home izzy did you have a good time?

Wandathewindfairy · 05/06/2014 08:52

Yep, if still swollen tomorrow is time for gp. It really is very sore, so sore I dare not touch it to see if still sore.

Elizadoesdolittle · 05/06/2014 08:56

Thanks for your concern. She seems fine this morning. She's just wolfed down 2 bowls of cheerios. In general she has been so much better. I think long term what she needs is an endoscopy. They nearly did one in the hospital but we got discharged after the ph study. in hindsight I would have pushed for it but I was so desperate to get home it was pure relief that they let us go. I think I'll look into the private medical cover that DH has with work.

flouncy welcome back. hope you had a lovely holiday.

lily glad at least the flight bit went well.

Elizadoesdolittle · 05/06/2014 08:59

sorry not flouncy I mean izzy forgot you'd changed back. I had a letter about DD1S induction school day. Crazy isn't it. We are away though so will miss it. Oops.
