I think I blinked. I suddenly have a sleeping, walking, potty training ball of chaos to deal with. How did that happen?!

PetiteRaleuse · 02/06/2014 23:01

Boo!

20mo in just a few weeks. I'd like to say it went quickly. But it didn't.

diggerdigsdogs · 03/06/2014 05:55

g'day all

StuntNun · 03/06/2014 06:50

Sorry PR I thought of that just as I hit Post Conversation. It should have said 18 months or older.

PasseS bp Wine

You go out for a leg wax and come back to a whole new thread.

Zamboni · 03/06/2014 13:57

S is 19 mo now and I am regularly shocked by this fact.

Pikz · 03/06/2014 14:01

Ouchie to the leg wax

Lalalala L is still a baby lalalala

PetiteRaleuse · 03/06/2014 14:16

I love this age. So much more interactive.

ChasingDaisy · 03/06/2014 14:31

Grin At thread ending.

I LOVE this age. O is bloody hilarious. New words every day and the cheekiest sense of humour. A couple of months ago I was finding him rather difficult, but this stage is just brilliant.

I am very much looking forward to seeing Lily this weekend. And yes, I will take O off your hands for you as I shall be without my O Smile

GTbaby · 03/06/2014 14:34

Wtf. I turn my head for a min and the thread died. Lily the serial thread killer. It's official.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/06/2014 15:08

Is it this weekend? That's come round quickly. I keep forgetting it is already June. How exciting!!

PurplePidjin · 03/06/2014 16:16

i might pop this in actual aibu later if I'm feeling feisty Grin

aibu to think i shouldn't have to cross the entire park to speak to the parent of a dc younger than mune? she was kicking him and i told her not to twice. third time was in the face and made him cry so i told the parent! and yes, they also happened to be fat. and smoking Hmm

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 16:52

I did not actually kill it...

O is 18 months old and I find her a terror. Her behaviour is challenging and we have huge tantrums. But she has 4 teeth coming through and her language development is really amazing, she now speaks in 3 word sentences.

Yep, this weekend. Anyone fancy joining us at Euston on Saturday for lunch?

PetiteRaleuse · 03/06/2014 17:00

Do link to your aibu pidj if you decide to post one.

I'd love to be there lily but I am unfortunately unable :o

YellowWellies · 03/06/2014 17:02

J is nearly 20 months, speaking in 3 word sentences and really specialising in the taxonomy of monkeys /apes it seems - he can tell me baboons, gorillas, chimps and gibbons! (Anthony Browne's 1 Gorilla is his favourite book). Now we can have 'conversations' and he can tell me what's up - life is a lot easier. But because he's wee I still get the small baby feeling. He says "hiya baby" to my belly now Smile . I'm liking this age.

Pidj YANBU but her weight and smoking is pretty irrelevant.

Lily311 · 03/06/2014 18:09

Just checked in for my flight. One thing I don't understand. Why do I need to sit by the window with an infant? Ba does not let me change the seat to Isle one. I hate sitting by the window, totally impractical with a toddler. I will try to change it at the airport but this happens to me all the time.

Wandathewindfairy · 03/06/2014 18:17

If anyone would like thighs of steel then come hither and help me with my weeding.

Might even chuck in a bun of steel also.

When I went to get the boys from nursery I actually felt wobbly. I still feel wobbly an hour later.

fruitpastilles · 03/06/2014 18:19

Urgh.... I didn't iron dp's shirt for work when S was napping, I have to do it in a min. I bloody hate ironing.

S is very comical at the moment, she makes me laugh every day. She also embarrasses me, yesterday when we was in town, she kept pointing at random men shouting daddy.

Right, going to put S to bed and iron that shirt.

YellowWellies · 03/06/2014 18:32

Lily its because someone with a toddler on their lap would act as a barrier to exiting the plane to other people in the row in the event of a crash - and they'd also have to pass hot drinks over your toddlers head to serve other passengers. For health and safety all airlines therefore like to seat parents and kids next to the window.

ChasingDaisy · 03/06/2014 18:45

Yes, any Londoners around on Saturday? I'm extremely excited.

YW, that makes sense about toddlers and aisle seats - although I reckon I would hate to be hemmed in next to the window. Let's hope she sleeps eh Lily? Wink That also sounds very sweet about J talking to your belly Smile just imagine how cute he will be when baby arrives. O is starting to be able to have 'conversations' with me now. Although they mostly consist of him telling me that things are 'dirty' or 'stuck'.

Pidj, I agree with YW. YANBU but the smoking and weight are irrelevant.
