You can buy Gregg's sausage rolls frozen in Iceland Smile and they are amazing.

Wowser.

Is there Iceland in Norn Iron?

PetiteRaleuse · 04/06/2014 18:24

Mmmm greggs sausage rolls. Yum.

Thing is wanda I would need British sausage meat or sausages. French meat is different.

Report
ValiumQueen · 04/06/2014 18:34

I quite fancy trying a bit of French meat Wink

ValiumQueen · 04/06/2014 18:35

They also sell the other pastries like sausage and beans and cheese and chilli type things. Apparently. Obviously I only feed my children organic bean sprouts.

No J doesn't make little clutching motions whenever he sees a Fruit Shoot, of course not, whatever gave you that idea? HmmHmmHmm

No Greggs in Northern Ireland though we do have Iceland.

Evening one and all, you've all had alot to say today! Today has been a fairly nice one after a hurrendous start. E refused breakfast on the grounds that he wanted the cat food instead. We couldn't reach a compromise so we gave up. He did have a good go at eating lunch himself though which is good for him, then before tea we took him to feed the ducks, which he happily quacked at. However he did experience his first ever proper fall outside. He happened to do said fall on a dirt track around a lake we frequent. It's been raining. Did he fall like a normal boy? No, of course not. He fell and was head to toe face first in a muddy puddle! Bless him, he got up quickly and looked at me as if he wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry! We both ended up laughing after a few tears. Then when we got home he had two big bowls of tuna pasta bake, when he won't usually eat tuna. I removed his high chair tray as I have cleared our donated rickety table and decided he is a big boy, and we need to do this. So, imagine if you will a small boy waving a dinosuar placemat in one hand, waggling a fork in the other and exclaiming PASTORRRRRRRR with each mouthful. A stream of omnomnomnomnom followed each PASTOORRRRR and then the occasional squeak of chssss (cheese) came before the next waggling. We both enjoyed it, actually. A fair bit of clearing to do afterwards, he managed to navigate the pastor and chss into his trap, but alot of tomatoey juicy stuff found its way, well, everywhere.

Oh, and today is a rest day for the 30 day ab challenge, I am SO grateful!

Anyway, enough about us...

no idea what to ask a nursery persy but how were the ones you saw today?

sorry J had another bad night vq hope tonight is much better for you.

PR hope the heating is not put on again tonight - when we went to skegness for a few days recently we woke up and the heating was on in the night bearing it mind it was roasting as it was, I felt like I couldn't breathe!

fruit i am impressed with you getting in the cot, i'd never get back out if I even managed to get in there in the first place! Also think it sounds like a fab breakfast. I wonder if I could get e to eat it. He cycles through four types of cereal, and I really need to break his habit, and get him back to eating more things at breakfast. I end up giving him what i know he'll more than likely eat, though, as I can never face a battle so early. I really need to grow a set I think when it comes to this boy and mealtimes!

I quite like weeding wanda but can't manage lots of it at once

bless him stunt sorry to hear J isn't well :( The foam thing people speak of sounds pretty good for the cot to bed transition

how long is your flight eliza?

wanda i would've voted curry fwiw

hope you have a safe trip lily

you do sound very organised yw! A chest of drawers might be a good idea :) good luck with the last of the baby shopping

I've no idea what to suggest pp but with my DN who is recently potty trained (she's 2 in july) at the beginning she managed okay when my sis asked her very often if she needed a wee wee. Would he answer you yes or no at this stage? I'm not sure, I think E would answer yes all the while, so it might not work for you to keep constantly asking. Could he perhaps play with nothing on his bottom half/have pants on or something when he's at home and have a potty to hand? This may all be completely backwards advice as I haven't yet toilet trained a hoomin being so feel free to ignore!

I think it's lovely on here when we all share all the stuff our dc's can do when they learn they can do it :)

You know i've never really thought much about Thomas books, I have never been fussed by them though, I do quite like MR. men and little miss books

I reckon tis a boy eliza, i was much the same with E, sooooo hungry!

LOL chasing

Half a cock is certainly pointless!

Big hugs pikz, but do enjoy your wine xx

Thanks kyz he's mostly naked from the waist down at home/grandparents etc and in a nappy when out. We went out on the forest today and stopped off for tea and buns at a garden centre on the way home. When asked on the way in if he needed a wee wee, he answered no but said yes on the way out. No actual wee was produced, but I don't want to discourage the asking iyswim? He appears to be completely ignoring the potty in the living room in favour of either asking for the toilet which is buggering up my back holding him there or waiting for a nappy HmmConfused

I have no wine or chocolate to share but you're welcome to a piece of pepperoni pizza. Tis Sainsburys and it's a bit yum!
