Gosh Zamboni, I thought that was what your hubby had for Father's Day breakfast treat!

Thinking of all you mummies who don't have a Daddy living at home, whatever the reason for their absence. Also thinking of you who have lost our own Dads Thanks I feel extremely blessed to still have both.

fruitpastilles · 15/06/2014 10:12

He's going to eat you out of house and home zamboni Grin

Passmethecrisps · 15/06/2014 14:04

Been for Father's Day lunch. All was fine until
P and I went a wander between courses.
She started gagging and went purple. All the staff bolted over then p was sick all over both of us. Quick thinking award goes to the waitress who grabbed ikea pussy out from under the waterfall of vomit crying "save the pussy!" And delivered him back to our table wiped clean.

All this happened right at the front door where people had to walk round us and the vomit to get to their tables.

Back home now thankfully. Blimey!

fruitpastilles · 15/06/2014 14:17

Oh my pass scary business. Glad all is well now, and that pussy was saved!

ValiumQueen · 15/06/2014 14:24

Oh dear Pass. Glad all is well. A Father's Day to remember for sure Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 15/06/2014 14:26

Oh no Pass! Glad she (and ikea pussy) are ok now. I've wondered before now, in that sort of situation where your child has vommed in public, who cleans it up? I would feel awful leaving it to someone else (although would be delegating said clean-up to d-"pikemeister"-h) but...what is the done thing?!

Lovely bike ride this morning with both girls and PuppyPig. Fed some horses, rode through the woods, spotted the train. Am now revising snoozing whilst F has a nap.

BigPigLittlePig · 15/06/2014 14:27

Pikemeister? I meant, PUKEmeister.

Pike implies some sort of expert fisherman.

Zamboni · 15/06/2014 14:41

Scary stuff Pass. Glad all is ok.

GTbaby · 15/06/2014 14:51

Hello. What a busy few days.
H is on the mend. He ate a hand full of cornflakes for breakfast. Which he ate by hand. But I drank the milk so it was soggy flakes.
And half a slice of toast and a few spoons of beans. Doesn't seem like much but compared to last few days it's progress.

Quick gota eat before they wake up.

Passmethecrisps · 15/06/2014 16:30

In this instance bp I caught most of the sick in my hand/on my clothes. The people in the restaurant helped me tip it into some waiting kitchen paper. They mopped the floor.

She went straight to sleep when we got home but just came into my bedroom gagging and going slightly purple but there was nothing in her mouth. No sick this time. Weird.

Glad H is on the mend gt

ValiumQueen · 15/06/2014 18:44

How peculiar Pass. Purple sounds a tad worrying. Has she got any other symptoms?

Passmethecrisps · 15/06/2014 18:59

She was a bit out of sorts this morning - whiny and clingy - but seems ok now. She has eaten a big dinner so fingers crossed she just has a sore throat

Lily311 · 15/06/2014 19:01

Best day ever. My little girl was blown away by the sea and behaved like she belonged there. She made me so proud and happy, Leo would have been extremely proud. I have the best brother and friends. Back to Hungary tmrw and will update you soon.

PurplePidjin · 15/06/2014 19:04
Thanks
PetiteRaleuse · 15/06/2014 19:08

Have a safe journey back lily my two love the sea too it is hard living so far away from it isn't it?

pass I hope there's no more vom

We went for a walk in the corn fields this morning and to a free concert in the park this afternoon. It hasn't been hot but it has been sunny with a nice breeze. It has been a good day.

ChasingDaisy · 15/06/2014 19:15

That sounds wonderful Lily. I'm taking O to the seaside for the first time next month and I can't wait.

ValiumQueen · 15/06/2014 19:45

How lovely Lily Smile

Zamboni · 15/06/2014 19:48

Lily GrinGrin

Passmethecrisps · 15/06/2014 20:03

Wonderful lily Flowers

BigPigLittlePig · 15/06/2014 21:32

Quiet tonight.

F has been giving the best cuddles today - just to me Smile

Lily I am so glad to hear today went well, safe trip home tomorrow - looking forward to hearing all the highs and lows of your stay.

Zamboni I can say with 100% certainty that S had more for breakfast than F has eaten all day Grin

F has started talking to people on the phone. I rang my parents and she said Nana and did her action for Grampa (don't ask!) before v earnestly telling them "bubbles bubbles" (this afternoons activity) amongst other mostly unintelligible chat, then said ba-bye when she was all done. Clever girl.

ValiumQueen · 16/06/2014 04:59

4am start today Confused

Wandathewindfairy · 16/06/2014 06:50

Oh no vq Sad O was crying...."Ohhhh mummy....ohhhhh mummy" at 6:20 oor so so I got dressed and by the time I came out of the bathroom he had stopped. So I have climbed back into my cosy bed with DH.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/06/2014 07:40

Ditto vq Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 16/06/2014 07:49

In the doctor's waiting room. Only 3 people ahead so approx an hour to go... (Hay fever)

DD1 broke our front door last night. Both doors to our house are now broken (though the front door is still lockable at least.)

Wandathewindfairy · 16/06/2014 08:28

Oh no pr I hope you are secure? says the woman whom left the playroom windows open all night

Brew and homemade brioche bread all round this morning!

That was my weekend experiment. Though I didn't get round to it till yesterday so needs finishing wHich won"to be hard. The Americans arrive next Thursday so I am wracking my brains for food ideas. They are here for 3 days. So I am thinking that buffet breakfasts are the way to go.

I have ordered an enourmous food net thing the flies are horrendous.
