Yes. Wimbledon I do get excited about. Murray lost at Queens today though which made me sad.

Kyz · 12/06/2014 20:31

Evening all :)

Eek izzy sorry you've got such a long wait for surgery :(

glad you're having a good time lily :D

Sounds like a good trip to Lidl wanda

Yay for your dog pr as much as mine drive me nuts sometimes with the noise, I am greatful for them on occasions such as these!

yay for passing your probation period chasing! and LOL at the food fight

aw lily that's really lovely

Last night was another bad night, so i'm going to bed early tonight, or that's the plan!

Wandathewindfairy · 12/06/2014 21:03

Well done chasing on your probation but commiserations about your poor aim though! hopefully you and O can have lots of fun honing it.

Football. Meh. Wimbledon Grin

Quiet night nursing yesterday's sunburn. O took a real tumble this afternoon, I was talking to SIL over the gate and O was playing in the ditch beside me Hmm where DH has propped up some pallets to stop the boys running down to the road ( we live on a farm track but it leads to the road) anyway O pulled the pallet on top of himself. He went down slowly but he ended up with the pallet on top of him and his arm sticking through the gaps. Not happy. A nice bloody graze on his head a lump and a bruise. I dispatched DH outside as soon as he got home to make them safer. We are waiting for some fencing to be done the same as the gate by the iron people. I had a moment of worry but he seems ok.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/06/2014 21:18

Poor little thing wanda glad it was nothing serious.

Am surprised I have not had any sunburn yet. Though tbf I tend to stay in the shade.

Passmethecrisps · 12/06/2014 22:11

Was it a full moon last night? Work was well crazy!!

Anyway. I have been outside playing getting to know you games for the last week - I could almost pass for tanned!

I have been really angsting about P and her meemee. She has become totally obsessed down to shouting out 'meemee!' In the middle of the night in her sleep then crying because it was the wrong one?!? But today when I picked her up and the CM and she said " meemee?" I just said "no" and kept talking to the CM. Blow me it seemed to work. Who would have thought just saying no would be all it might take? There was me trying to reason with her!

Your food fight made me laugh chasing!

Glad work is ok vq.

Passmethecrisps · 12/06/2014 22:12

Sounds horrid wanda and there is nothing worse than the "I'm hurt' cry

Paisleychick · 12/06/2014 22:22

I like the football hype too. Watched the first half and now I'm in bed, I'm not committed enough to watch it all. I love Wimbledon, really enjoyed the French Open.

And I have a mortgage. The house will be left to the kids and they can use their share as a deposit for a place of their own when the time comes

ValiumQueen · 13/06/2014 06:07

Good morning Smile

Another night in his bed until 5 am. So very grateful.

And it is Friday! Yay!

When are you back at the Dr Pidj? And how is his ulcer? Have you decided what to do about potty training? There has been lots of good advice given here Smile

Lily311 · 13/06/2014 06:17

Morning,

We have been up for a while. The good thing is that all she wants to do is cuddle and kiss me. I can live with that. She now says Anya which is mum in Hungarian, she shouts anya, anya, boobies. Than pulls my top down. Great :).

I need to buy a swimming costume for myself. For swimming. Where shall I go? I have a speedo one which I love but the material is thinning. Tried sports direct but no luck.

Lily311 · 13/06/2014 06:18

And it's Friday the 13th!

fruitpastilles · 13/06/2014 06:33

Yay vq
Haha lily I can just picture O doing that. I love it when S wants kisses and cuddles, it's not very often she does.

I hadn't realised it was the 13th today, S is 19 months today. I have just worked out that her 3rd birthday will be Friday the 13th clearly have nothing better to do with my time

My Nans boyfriend popped round yesterday with 3 black bags full of books for S. His niece has just moved out of his brothers house and he is getting it ready to rent out and she left them all there and told him to just bin them. They all look new, S was very happy with them.

fruitpastilles · 13/06/2014 06:33

Oh and I HATE hayfever.

PetiteRaleuse · 13/06/2014 06:37

I hate hayfever too. I love the idea of bags full of lovely books though.

Morning all.

ValiumQueen · 13/06/2014 06:56

You can never have too many books.

Pikz · 13/06/2014 06:57

Morning! Finally some proper sleep. think we now have all 16 teeth.

House is nearly done and I will wake up to no builders arriving that day shortly.

The sun is out and I'm not at work so can I have a thankful Friday Grin

Pikz · 13/06/2014 06:58

And definitely never too many books!

fruitpastilles · 13/06/2014 07:02

I agree, my under bed storage is full of all of my books from when I was little ready to pass on to S, lots of those were my mums and aunties when they were little and had gone to my older cousins before me, one of the advantages of being the youngest girl cousin is that I got to keep them for S Smile
I love books. S loves books too, I hope it lasts.

fruitpastilles · 13/06/2014 07:03

Glad the house is nearly done pikz can't wait to see the finished pics.

ValiumQueen · 13/06/2014 07:08

Yes, we need pics Pikz Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 13/06/2014 08:19

PurplePidjin · 13/06/2014 09:14

rash virtually healed and success on toilet twice yesterday afternoon. so plodding on as we are till Dr on Tuesday

YellowWellies · 13/06/2014 09:21

Great news Pikz and Pidj!

I'm presuming DH has done this.... for weeks J has been saying "oink" but no, today, on reading a Squash and a Squeeze this morning when I asked J what pigs say - apparently its "bacon". Very droll dear! Grin

Right playgroup, then maternity jeans shopping to H&M.

PetiteRaleuse · 13/06/2014 09:34

I bought a book this morning. Someone in the village has interviewed all the elders over the years and written up their stories of village life from 1900 to 1960. So through two sets of German occupation, two wars and the liberation. With pictures. It looks brilliant.

Wandathewindfairy · 13/06/2014 09:47

That sounds like a great book to have pr

I do have your book to send, I just have 't got round to it yet. I will do it next week, I have some to send over for the girls too. I feel, after this week, much more on top of stuff than I was with all the travelling, I just need a week to heal!
