Good evening ladies

Has been a funny old day today. Very emotional. My race was good - ran slower than I would have liked, due to crowds/heat/annoying walkers... but still did it in 34mins and managed a sprint finish up a big hill. JFG came to support me, which I really appreciated, as none of my family could be arsed to come and watch Hmm Took myself out for a long walk after and spent it feeling rather emotional. I really didn't expect the anniversary to hit me this hard; but I'm allowing myself a day of wallowing before I get back to normal tomorrow.

Anyway, thank you to the quiche for this past year. I was running with a roar in my heart today, thanks to you all Thanks

PurplePidjin · 08/06/2014 20:02

We tried Fucibet which made no difference. So we tried an hour a day of nappy free time which seems to have triggered or coincided with him asking for the toilet. Now we're trying pants, with a check up 10 days later to review. No other treatments have been suggested yet.

and of Wine for Chasing Thanks

Passmethecrisps · 08/06/2014 20:13

P did a poo tonight (number 4 of the day) and when I took her nappy off her bottom was absolutely red raw. Poor wee mite was howling "ow ow ow OW!" while I was trying to clean her up. Looks like the last of the canines is making its presence felt.

DH said it again! We got a home buyer's report for the house and it dates it as "considerably older than 150 years". To which DH says "but if it is haunted there would be room for us all". Very generous!!!

How is your cough vq?

Passmethecrisps · 08/06/2014 20:15

And wallow away chasing but if you can view it as reflection then all the better. You have come an amazing journey and there are bound to be periods where you jolt to a stop making your tummy flip. You are a credit to O, yourself and we are all very proud of you. Xx

ValiumQueen · 08/06/2014 20:22

Cough has fucked off thankfully Pass. I now have control of my sphincters, and am sleeping soundly when DCs allow. It was over 8 weeks I had it for. It was a bitch!

If I start coughing again tonight I will blame you !

Can I just check my smilies please?

Smile Smile
Grin Grin
Wink Wink
Shock Shocked
Hmm Sad
Confused Oh fuck
Blush Blush
Angry Angry
Sad Sad

I am guessing the error is one of the sad faces as there should not be two, and I have lost my hmm

Wine Wine
Brew Coffee
Thanks Flowers.

I thank you

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 20:22

I happened upon an Icelamd today only 30 mims away. Is there anything worth getting in Iclenad except the sausage rolls?

Tomorrow I start my first week of proper at home mumdom. No employer. Unless you count DH of course.

ValiumQueen · 08/06/2014 20:23

And poor P! Teeth are bastards. Hope she is soon over them x

ChasingDaisy · 08/06/2014 20:32

Your first sad is actually a hmm VQ. I have the same problem on the app, but Hmm is a hmm face (note the slightly raised eyebrows) and Sad is sad.

YellowWellies · 08/06/2014 20:33

VQ the first sad smiley in your list is coming out as the hmm / bullshit / passive aggressive smiley - this one Hmm rather than sad Sad .

Urgh today I've hit the struggling to get up off the floor without a hand / winch stage. And this LO hates under bump jeans. Proper mental kicking "gerroffmyland" behaviour. Am struggling to find over bump skinnies. I'm looking cetacean in anything other than skinnies.

ValiumQueen · 08/06/2014 20:36

Thank you ladies. Loving the bullshit / passive aggressive hmm YW Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 08/06/2014 20:38

Yw I got some lurvely ones in new look I think. Comfiest jeans ever. Was actually a bit sad when I couldn't wear them anymore lol.

Currently.

Me: go to sleep F
F:

Confused
Passmethecrisps · 08/06/2014 20:46

F is hilarious, bp! She's got game.

Please don't kick my head in if you get a cough vq!

fruitpastilles · 08/06/2014 20:55

Oh no, I use the app and always do that hmm face as a sad face..... Hope I've never offended anyone with the wrong face.

PurplePidjin · 08/06/2014 20:55

Wanda Iceland pizzas are the shizz! My nearest is a bitch to park at and the next is a town i rarely go to at the opposite end of the street to the shop I visit it for (most amazing charity shop for kids EVER) but I do occasionally treat myself

Love the fake snores, immensely cute :o R's favourite game is taking it in turns. Fine when I'm around to interpret, hilarious when he tries it with one of his little buddies who just runs off with the toy he's handed them!

YW I had Next bootcut but i heard Topshop Baxters are meant to be good? Or are they under bump?

fruitpastilles · 08/06/2014 20:57

Haha bp F is so funny (although probably isn't funny when you're trying to get her to sleep)

yw I also had a lovely pair of over bump skinnies from new look, and I'm pretty sure I had a pair from next too, although that was a while ago obviously.

Zamboni · 08/06/2014 20:58

BP Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 08/06/2014 21:03

yw my over bump jeans came from h&m and I would wear them now if I could. They were so comfy.

Baxters are under bump so a fairly useless suggestion from me!

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 21:08

My best over bumps were next ones and, bizarrely some mothercare ones when I was having the girls.

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 21:09

I could never get I h&m jeans strangely and the ones from jo Joni had to size up about three sizes, which was even stranger, but I did because they had some nice smart ones regardless of the fact they always fell down

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 21:10

Oo they look lovely comfy those skinnies pp I might order a park for curry or cold tummy nights! Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 21:12

FFS the typos are back. Think I will turn In.

YellowWellies · 08/06/2014 21:16

I knew I could rely on my girls. Thanks ladies! xx

BigPigLittlePig · 08/06/2014 21:26

Given up, have eaten my pizza and F is trashing the lounge. Love how much character she is getting now, she makes me beam every day, even when she is having a tantrum, or you could ski jump off her pouty bottom lip Grin

Well done Chasing on today (for more than one reason).

Glad to hear Rs bum is clearing up, Pidj.

Delighted to hear or the return of VQs sphincter control.

YW that hairy man story would freak me right out!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 08/06/2014 21:28

DD is being a nightmare. Can I moan here? I don't know what to do with her. She is ridiculous at meal times, very slow, constantly talking, spilling and dropping things, on purpose. She had perfected a whiney cry thing she does every time she isn't happy with what's being said or done. It's so draining. She won't listen to what we say or do as she's told and is just for want of a better word being a wee b*tch. Which is horrible to have to say about my daughter. Time out doesn't work nor does removing toys. I'm at a loss. I've said I'll be getting a piggy bank for daddy and I and that every time she's like that we will move money from her bank to ours. She responded well tot his initially but I haven't sourced a bank yet so it's seen as an empty threat almost! Today it was time to leave my mums and she just let herself put of the house while we were on the living room! She's 4!

I'd also like to moan about her school but it's long and it's out me in RL.

Weve got a busy week this week. I also have the consultant second opinion I requested.... Yikes!
