I can think of few more fitting tributes!

Kyz · 07/06/2014 20:24

Evening all

yay for the return of ageing pussy pass and a big woohoo for the job etc :D brilliant news

please don't give up on the idea of your little family perse I can only imagine how hard it must be for you but please don't give up just yet and hold on to the family you do have as well as the dreams for a bigger one as vq said

weather has been odd here, was supposed to be storms, ended up being some rain, and then scorching hot after for a bit!

lol zamboni e has recently discovered his weelee too, has been tugging it every nappy change for the past few weeks! His body part naming is his forte, he's very good, and even though he says it all the time, weelee makes me chuckle

good luck tomorrow chasing, very fitting indeed :D Am so proud of you, you've come so far in a year xxx

ChasingDaisy · 07/06/2014 21:27

Am suddenly feeling vair emotional. A year ago tomorrow, XP hit me for the last time. I almost don't recognise the person I was then. Bloody hell, I'm welling up. Anyone got a grip they can chuck my way?

ValiumQueen · 07/06/2014 21:32

You don't need a grip. Yours is perfectly functional. It is bound to be an emotional time. Allow yourself to feel, but remember you are safe, can breathe, and are freeeeeeee!

BigPigLittlePig · 07/06/2014 21:38

And what a year it has been. I have to say Chasing, I was thinking of you and xp the other day, and how I don't recognise the woman that you were. You have come so far, and I think I speak for the whole quiche when I say I AM PROUD OF YOU Thanks Wine

Lily311 · 07/06/2014 21:57

And me. Certainly you deserve all the happiness.

Was lovely to spend time with chasing and the quiche hug is just bloody amazing. I keep looking at it thinking how blessed I am to have you all. Thank you.

Off drinking some more wine.

ValiumQueen · 07/06/2014 21:59

BigPigLittlePig · 08/06/2014 02:09

GTbaby · 08/06/2014 03:59

My baby broken too. Darn me going to bed at 2 Hmm drat the stinky poo explosion. Waaa my sleepy eyes

fruitpastilles · 08/06/2014 04:43

Nice to see lily and chasing had a lovely time yesterday.

chasing you are bound to be emotional, you have done amazingly after what you went through. You have created a whole new life for you and O a happy, stable life. You should be extremely proud of yourself, I agree with bp in that we all are!

Oh no bp sending lots of BrewBrew your way. You too gt

S woke up about 20 mins ago, I've just managed to get her back off but now I'm wide awake. I'm guessing she will be up in less than an hour anyway this morning.

Weather is supposed to be nice here today, although we were promised storms yesterday and that didn't happen so who knows.

Pikz · 08/06/2014 07:16

Chasing. Today feel immensely proud of yourself and o and all you have achieved xxx

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 08:21

chasing I can only echoe the others. Look at the last year and where you are now. Amazing. Good luck today but above all enjoy it. Xx

After a couple of days on the ABs, resting with my three boys curled up on the sofa I feel so much better. Still marginally sore, but human. We have a farm trip with toddlers today so I am looking forward to that and glad that I didn't have to pull out.

Spent last night at SILs, her DH works shifts and if he is on on a Sat me and other SIL descend on her with nibbles. Home by curfew to snuggle in with DH.

Anyway, film I watched under a blanket in the sofa was Ondine and brilliant. I had wanted to see it when it was on at the cinema when I was pregnant with DS1 and hadn't got round to it. Its about a down on his luck Irish fisherman who pulls up a woman (silky) in his fishing net. The scenery is amazing and is just my style of film. Really really recommend if you want a chilled out relax, definitely not action.

persepolis123 · 08/06/2014 08:37

Good luck today chasing. You have done incredibly well and should be so proud of yourself. You have come such a long way.

DP is at work today and the weather is beautiful so I'm going to take C out somewhere to take my mind off things.

I'm not sure what to do about work. My mum says I should take the week off but I don't know. I need tomorrow off because I've got a scan in the afternoon and wouldn't be able to concentrate in the morning if I did go in. Tuesday is my normal day off anyway. Do I tell them the truth and say I will be taking a week off or see how I am on Tuesday?

ValiumQueen · 08/06/2014 08:57

See how you are on Tuesday. You may feel you would rather be at work. You may well have questions from your colleagues, no doubt out of concern, but worth thinking about what you will say and how you feel you can cope with them.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/06/2014 09:11

Morning all. I agree with vq re Tuesday perse. Of course take tomorrow off, then on Tuesday evening decide for Wednesday.

Sorry for shit nights.

Good luck today chasing

BigPigLittlePig · 08/06/2014 09:14

Agree with vq, perse. Have tomorrow and Tuesday off and see how things are. I am someone who would far rather get on and be busy busy to keep my mind off things, but that isn't what everyone needs. Hope you have fun today.

Good luck chasing!

Last night was pretty horrendous. She was sooo hot, even in just a vest, her body felt ok but her hands and feet were roasting and sweaty - usually she gets like that if she has a temp. She eventually flaked out at 3ish, only to wake at 7.10 Sad

GTbaby · 08/06/2014 09:20

Perse everyone is different. If you feel you need a week off take it. A friend of mine at school took two weeks off and still looked on the brink of tears every time she spoke when she came back. Don't feel guilty about wanting time to yourself. X

Chasing you will do great today. What a year!

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 09:41

bp are you working today or can you get a break?

BigPigLittlePig · 08/06/2014 11:38

Up at my parents for the weekend, currently sat in the car with a sleeping F, waiting for them to get back from church so we can go to my friends farm - open farm sunday doncha know?

It's sunny Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 08/06/2014 11:41

Are you in AmbridgeWink
