Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

Agnu ~ I had heard that pampers active fit is better. I will try them at night. Thanks Smile I still have about 5 cheapies left so trust me I will keep you all informed however, I'll need to purchase a 6 day early test if I really want to see a result on Christmas Day. Imagine a Christmas Day BFP on the thread Wink getting ahead of myself again

Kitty ~ I will return to work when all 3 kids are in school. Doing what I don't know but I'm sure I'll find something that relates to my skill set even if it will be a lot less pay! I would want a sensible work/mummy balance so that I could drop and collect from school.

Boys are just generally a bit slower in the communication department never really goes away . I was looking back at things I wrote down about the boys and neither of them were anywhere near as clear or as many vocab words as M is at the same age. I think it's such a huge range of what's considered normal for this age. As long as he's understanding what you're saying to him and he makes himself understood by pointing or signing things, it might just be easier for him to let you know that way.

Grin at your sister agnu and your texts frus! Also fantastic news that they let you sleep in this morning! Huzzah!

Oh yes! It's settled then. A Christmas BFP for pear so we can all celebrate!

Still feeling like shizzzzzzz. I have SO much work to catch up on and after taking some much needed drugs, I would much rather use this time of feeling 60x better for sleeping, but alas.... billing clients are crawling out of the woodwork harassing me to get their claims done.

peardrop2 · 03/12/2014 15:36

Hahhah bring...slow communication never goes away for the boys Wink Bpear doesn't point at things but he understands. If I say go and get mummy a ball or something in his sight he will do it. My mum informs me that his speech will come out like my brother...all at once when he is ready Smile Meanwhile I am enjoying the Hums, ba's and Ma ma's because boy do I know there will be ALOT of chatter when the time comes...mainly to negotiate TV watching as totally obsessed with Tumbletots. At the moment I only allow him to watch it before breakfast and when I'm making dinner. If we're at home I have to hide the controls otherwise their is LOTs of moaning Wink

Oh bring...are you an accountant too? You have your fingers in so many pies!! Grin

Lorelei353 · 03/12/2014 19:41

We get that too pear. DS watches Raa Raa on cbeebies sometimes but loves it. During the day sometimes he'll go to his chair try to move it to dace the TV and will keep saying 'Raa Raa?' Until we distract him. Watches In The Night a Garden sometimes too. He's beginning to know their names (Daisy, Mac Pac and iggle kind of come out).

Kittens not into tele at all, she likes it if she sees a real animal on something but other then that not a glance, she loves the soundtrack to frozen though --and take that's new song where she and tiger sing the owe owe owe at the end Grin

peardrop2 · 03/12/2014 22:16

Kitty ~ you're v lucky! It's driving me nuts negotiating with a 18 month old every day on how much TV I will allow Him to watch Grin My only saving grace is that he's not interested at all in CBeebies apart from the theme tune to Postman Pat! He's a music man Wink

Lorelei353 · 04/12/2014 10:12

DS wasn't into tv at all until about a month ago and suddenly it clicked.

Aww, poor little mite! Hope his little red bum gets better soon! Grin

pear I am a medical insurance coder and biller. It's probably extremely foreign for you with your lovely NHS over yonder but it's the way that families who have their babies at home with midwives get their money back after having to pay for their midwifery care out of pocket. Most families get between 10-50% back of what they paid. The going rate here for hiring a midwife is a flat fee of $4,000. Once the baby is born I submit claims to their insurance company to basically "bill" them for the service the midwife performed and then hopefully the insurance company will reimburse a percentage back to the family. I'm the only person in my area that does the service and I work with 5 different midwife practices so it can get pretty-pretty stressful at times getting a bajillion emails from the midwife, from their client, from the insurance company, finding out something didn't go through, the client is mad they didn't get more money back, etc, etc, etc. So it's fun. It's challenging. Rewarding when families get $$ back though!

I had to go over in the "topic of the day" homebirth tread and set some ladies straight about midwives in the US. Hmm

peardrop2 · 04/12/2014 21:18

Frus - yes I think it is a little raised towards his bottom. I will call the doctor in the morning if it hasn't improved. He's never had this before. He's had a rash but that was when he was teething. He just has a cold. A cold wouldn't do it would it?

peardrop2 · 04/12/2014 21:19

Bring ~ that sounds interesting! Certainly keeps you on your toes!! Are you feeling better?

peardrop2 · 04/12/2014 21:51

I think it's just bad nappy rash because like I previously mentioned we've had a few wet nappies recently. I really need to buy Active fit tomorrow!

Frus ~ Huggies

peardrop2 · 04/12/2014 22:25

OK Frus I've googled those words. It looks like the bottom 52 - just underneath the photo that says "breastfeeding and Yeast Problems - taming the beast" in purple font

kittykatsforever · 04/12/2014 22:34

Oy frus it was me that suggested it was thrush!!! Wink

peardrop2 · 04/12/2014 22:53

Think I'll book a doctors appointment tomorrow just in case it is thrush. Better to be safe then sorry huh!

AGnu · 05/12/2014 01:37

Is it bad that I had no idea boys could get thrush? Blush We've been incredibly lucky with our boys - they're rarely even pink & never had nappy rash that required more than one day of cream to get rid of it. My poor niece, on the other hand, went through a phase of really bad nappy rash while teething that had DBro asking Mum for egg white to smear on it while DNiece sobbed at the mere mention of being changed!

I'm exhausted! In 24 hours I made 2 8" square cakes, 14 muffins, a jar of pesto, fried 17 rashers of bacon & ate at least 3 of them & peeled, sautéed & boiled 2kg of sprouts. I'm just glad I had the sense to buy ready-cooked chestnuts! I got home just before 11pm & still haven't fully wound down from the evening. I feel completely over stimulated. The boys will be watching a lot of TV tomorrow! Zzzzzzzz....

peardrop2 · 05/12/2014 07:46

False alarm. Bum better this morning. Nappy change did not go well at all though Confused such a pickle!!

Agnu ~ who were you cooking this feast for?
