Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

Yeah but Frus what if the size2 is massive? Next stuff always seems bigger. Climbing frame sounds like a lot of fun. It's always nice to have outdoor things.

Bring the sale is on this weekend. Sorry :-(

kittykatsforever · 16/07/2014 21:40

It will look big pear it's a year away yet but I bet he will be in it, I do find there trousers quite long/ jeans tiger only wears2-3 and is 3 next month but they are still big on her however t-sorts and outfits, leggings and tops , jumper etc she is in the correct age and baby pear is a big lad isn't he?
Frus how are you getting on then? No reconciliation ? Had dh been ok or making things difficult for you? The climbing frame sounds fab! X

Well it's just the 12-18mth baby grows I brought at Xmas still don't fit him yet so that's why I'm just wondering whether 2-3 will be too big next summer. He's wearing 9-12 month tops from Next now but he's also wearing 12-18 now...some of the 12-18 is too big though. I suppose going for 2-3 is the safer option!

peardrop2 · 17/07/2014 07:51

Aht that makes sense that they fit the size better at 2-3. Thanks ladies...I'll stick to 2-3 then Smile

CUte!! I love the little sounds they make.

Sorry to hijack ladies.... MIL is starting chemo tomorrow. It's heavy-duty stuff. She's had a port placed so they don't have to poke her every time. They have to do a lumbar puncture next week due to her cancer spreading to the bones in her pelvis and spine to make sure that the cells aren't spreading into the nervous system as well. This feels like the beginning of the end, you know? Of course we all go someday, but this is too soon. This isn't supposed to be happening to this amazing lady that is like my mum (better than my own mum). She's the best nan ever and wants to spend time with our kids whereas my mother doesn't want anything to do with them and we are 4,000 miles away from her. It's a helpless feeling being so far away and I can't just go and spend time with her. I just can't wait to get over there and see her. I'm still in disbelief that this is actually happening.

AGnu · 18/07/2014 10:07

Oh bring I'm so sorry this is happening! It's not long now until you can see her! I'm sure the doctors are doing everything they can. It might not be 'it' - there's always a chance she might pull through! I have a friend who's been told he had weeks to live 2 or 3 times now & he's still fighting on over 6 months later!

Lorelei353 · 18/07/2014 12:39

Oh bring that's awful. I'm so sorry. She sounds great. I'm glad you're able to come over soon to see her and the kids can spend some time with her.

Thinking of you

Oh bring that's so tough Hmm I'm sorry you're all having to go through such a tough time. Wonderful that you're coming over soon as it will give her something positive and happy to look forward to Smile

peardrop2 · 18/07/2014 17:56

Just realised that the sale starts at 5am which means you have to get there by 4 so that means leaving the house at 3:30 ShockShockShock

Lorelei353 · 18/07/2014 19:34

Waves Pear on her way now Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 19/07/2014 00:09

Thanks for the shoulders to lean on. This feels so hard.

Good luck with the sale you nutter Wink

peardrop2 · 19/07/2014 06:51

I was first in line. Once in I couldn't find age 2-3 so had to pick up lots of age 3. Think I brought too many t-shirts...which goes against your advice from Xmas Frus :-( Saying that I have really lacked t-shirts this summer. I didn't find any pyjamas but did get a rain coat. So lots of t-shirts and a raincoat. Not that great Hmm There were a lot of trousers but I stayed away as he never wore the trousers I brought last time as they don't fit well. There were lots of items with dinosaurs and characters which is not my thing. I did manage to pick up 4 tops for myself this time. I bet it will have to go back but it was nice to get something for myself for a change.

I got 3 girl baby gross for £8 for 2 sets of friends having girls soon.

How did you do Kitty? The girls dresses looked so cute!!

Turns out the raincoat is not in the sale even though it was on the sale rack!! No wonder there was so many left. Ggggrrrrr that makes me cross! Oh well now I've not spent more then my £100 budget. Maybe I will be going back on Boxing Day after all!

kittykatsforever · 19/07/2014 12:41

Pear I didn't go as early as you, woke at 4:30, got there for 4:50 in at 5, there was a huge que but it's big shop and we all got in, I spent way more then you, embarrassingly more but then I buy for my sis and her kids too, we did very well, a couple of things they didn't have and I'd got some new baby grows for kitten as she only wears hand me downs that I thought said 12-18 and are 9-12, but gutted at that because they were the 3 pack and so cute, bright colours with a bunny? Anyway got myself some bits for a change too not many but a few and quite abit to take back but it was a sucsess Grin

Bring- I'm so sorry your going through this, I hope her prognosis improves and I'm sure she will be lifted by seeing you all x

peardrop2 · 19/07/2014 13:05

Oh kitty that sounds like a success! Yes I saw the bunny grows...I went for the hearts and roses with a frill. You didn't do so well at Boxing Day so I'll let you off Wink I spent way too much on Boxing Day! I think I had 4 bags in total but today I only had 1 and a half so much more sensible and boring!! After emptying my bag I feel better about it then I did when I arrived home. It still feels odd that nothing will get worn for another year!

bringonthetrumpets · 20/07/2014 04:21

Spanks gals. We are skyping tomorrow, now that she's had a day to rest up after her first round of chemo. We buy tix in 1 week!

Jealous! Sounds like you had a fun shopping trip. I want to go shopping! We are saving like mad.

Lorelei353 · 20/07/2014 07:31

So, ds has slept through the night 5 out of the last 6 nights. Just sayin' Grin
