Elizadoesdolittle · 13/05/2014 21:05

poor j yw I hope he doesn't suffer too badly.

I have been reading but struggling to post. I think I may do a fb post as my ramblings aren't really appropriate here at the moment. Although they might not be appropriate there either but I have to post it somewhereSmile

BigPigLittlePig · 13/05/2014 21:08

Gah poor little man yw Sad I hope he gets a good nights rest and his poxiness is short lived. Fwiw I would have made the same call about spa day. Mothers guilt hey!

Stunt did you see the gp today? Have been thinking about you and hoping you get the help you need xx

Yay for growth spurts Pidj. I think F must be, er, densely packed, as she isn't particularly porky, just a bit squishy, but is on a mich higher percentile for weight than height. Perhaps she has inherited mils "big bones" Hmm Grin

Have felt iller and iller as the day has gone on, either exhaustion or yet more impending viral pleasantry. Tucked up in bed whilst dh helps builds a trampoline for our best friends boys bday. Cat is downstairs terrorising the dog, F has gone off to sleep apparently better than dh has ever seen wih black out blind up, so fc sleep is had by all.

A Grin moment for you all...I came home to fimd dh cooking tea. Risotto. As I walked in, he was liberally sprinkling curry powder over the pan. "Trust me", he says Hmm

So tea was...risotto rice. Half a slice of wafer thin sandwich ham. Some curry powder. He bemoaned the lack of onion. Strangely enough, I don't think lack of onion was the problem here.

YellowWellies · 13/05/2014 21:18

BP that tea made me smile Smile an ex of mine once served pot noodle and fish fingers. My sisters XH thought 'cooking' cuppa soup and heating supermarket onion bhajis counted as serving a nutritious family meal. FC on the blackout blind!

Eliza Thanks

PetiteRaleuse · 13/05/2014 21:23

Not much positive stuff anywhere on quiche atm. Fx everyone gets a decent night's sleep.

Kyz · 13/05/2014 21:28

I'm here :( just definitely nothing positive to say :( big hugs though especially to stunt and little bear

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2014 21:29

Is a quiche cuddle in order?

Eliza, please feel free to post anywhere you feel comfortable Smile We are all waiting with an open ear and open arms Thanks

YW, poor bear and poor you. Wishing him a speedy recovery x

Pig you must be utterly exhausted. Can you get some kip as you're tucked up in bed?

PurplePidjin · 13/05/2014 21:30

Dairylea on toast is the famous one iirc?

PR R is doing fab atm. But it's a bit boring and smug to keep posting about it so I've been keeping quiet in favour of enjoying my probably brief calm spell and providing Brew Cake and Wine for everyone else. We were at the park earlier and could hear a tweet tweet from the bushes and I'm pretty sure he said birdie :o

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2014 21:30

Oh and stunt, I wish I could give you some respite Sad

YellowWellies · 13/05/2014 21:31

A bit of good news - the spa day was rearranged for free and because the lady on the phone felt sorry for the bear, he and DH have a free pool pass!

Elizadoesdolittle · 13/05/2014 22:03

yw that's great news.

I have my fingers crossed for you bplp. Hope the black out blind works a treat.

Thanks chasing. I will indeed do that but I'm bloody knackered now so will post tomorrow.

I don't want to worry you all, I am fine thank you for your concern.

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2014 22:24

My word. I have nothing to add but offer love and cuddles.

Things are busy but blissfully uneventful in crisp-acres so I shall spend my night flying the trusty sleep dust plane and wishing my lovely friends peace

Kyz · 13/05/2014 22:45

Sorry eliza missed your post, hope all is ok

Have been feeling out of the loop here recently so haven't posted on the odd occasion I have had a minute spare but I have been keeping up with you all as best I can

YellowWellies · 13/05/2014 22:47

Wotcha Kyz

after a couple of grumbles needing a quick cuddle and kiss about 8.30 he is still the fck asleep! Whoop whoop tonight preggerella you may (maybe!) get some kip! Pass* you fly that plane soooo well!

StuntNun · 13/05/2014 23:18

New thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2079383-November-2012-Roll-on-summer-we-want-paddling-pools just in case anyone's feeling stabby.

OP posts:
GTbaby · 14/05/2014 00:49

Noone even a tiny bit tempted at a lil stab? Well I'm not doing it alive. Far to many. My mid night ramblings would come back in full force. No one wants that randomness!

GTbaby · 14/05/2014 00:50

Alone. In not doing it alone.

ValiumQueen · 14/05/2014 04:51

I could pretend I am stabbing my DH. Although I would do it once and do it right Angry

Bad bad night here. Coughing to the point of vomiting again, and my pelvic floor has evaporated. J was in with us from about 10 as he fell at nursery and smashed his face and cut inside his mouth, so he is sore and grumpy. I woke J with the coughing, then had to get up with him as he would not settle. Not his fault as I could not stop coughing. Been up since 2 and I have just handed him over to DH who had got up due to the noise. Angry

GTbaby · 14/05/2014 05:35

Hate these early starts. A is a morning baby unlike his bro , mum or dad. SLEEP CHILD SLEEP.
he has his first tooth! You can't see it yet but I can deff feel it when I rub teetha in.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/05/2014 06:51

F managed til 6.20 - a massive improvement on recent nights.

Hiya Kyz. How's your new house doing?

Yw how lovely of the spa lady to rearrange for you. Hope the bear slept ok?

Yay for new teeth GT.

Feel a bit more human after some sleep, so fc that is all it was. Have had my share of germs for the year, am certain.

StuntNun · 14/05/2014 06:56

I feel a bit more human today. I got an afternoon nap with J yesterday then did an exercise DVD once the boys were in bed. J was in bed by 8:30 and only woke once in the night (just awake - not in pain this time) then up for the day just after 6 but no screaming so far. I actually think it's easier with DH away in America because I can run things as I see fit and there's much less shouting.

Donnadoon · 14/05/2014 07:36

Waves at kyz
Waves at everyone
Congratulations pikz think I have said that last time I have baby brain
Reading but not having time to post here too

GTbaby · 14/05/2014 07:54

Stunt sometimes I get so much more done when fh is at work. Yesterday my sis came over and fh was home in morning and at 2pm I still hadn't had breakfast!

GTbaby · 14/05/2014 07:55

Vq can you get the go to prescribe you the fango weights?

Wandathewindfairy · 14/05/2014 08:36

Is definitely a much tighter ship when DH is not here, but I much prefer it with.

PetiteRaleuse · 14/05/2014 09:03

DH has been leaving early and getting home v late this week. Hasn't seen LO since Sunday evening. Likely to be like this all week. LO is not herself at all :(
