Boo to bad nights. J slept until 6.40 but woke hot and bothered. He is off today and we are snuggled on the sofa watching Peppa Pig.

Hi Flouncy. Look forward to hearing about the job. Feel free to start a thread on FB if you want to thrash out a few ideas. Do you want the job?

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 08:35

J is also on 20mg. He is just outgrowing the 9-12 bottoms, and I am buying 18-24 tops which drown him

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 08:37

He can no longer fit in 9-12 tops due to his fat tummy.

Chasing I used to take my ADs at tea time. If I took them later I had a hang over effect the next morning and if I took them in the morning I was zonked. Yesterday a combo of exhaustion and not having had them for months resulted in a two hour sleep that I just could not prevent. Thankfully I was home alone so I could.

Elizadoesdolittle · 24/04/2014 09:00

stunt I was just going to leave it in the box. I'll let DH build it :-)

flouncy At least they don't keep you waiting for an answer. Good luck. Even if you work out that you don't want it its nice to have been offered.

Brew to those in need.

Got a weigh in for E this morning. Her milk drinking has gone to pot so am relying on the lovely high calorie food ideas that you gave on fb. I feel like her eating has improved but we will see if that transpires into sufficient weight gain.

Pikz · 24/04/2014 09:50

Tired pre wedding, house build chaos, fertility worries, been up since 2am meltdown imminent

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 10:06

Pikz you just have too much going on. Are you off work now until after the nuptials? I do hope so. Sorry I cannot do anything to make it all better. Big big squishy hug xxx

BigPigLittlePig · 24/04/2014 10:11

Trying to sleep but neighbours have picked today to chainsaw down all their trees Hmm

Pikz Thanks deep breaths xx

VQ Brew and Wine for you all (J included?)

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 10:12

I have popped a little safe haven for you on FB Pikz if that would help ThanksBrewBiscuit

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 10:13

BP tell me where you live and I will come and shoot the fuckers!!!

PurplePidjin · 24/04/2014 12:12

Completely fucked off. It's all a bit too much. Fuckers.

PurplePidjin · 24/04/2014 12:23

Oh and happy birthday Persy Cake

Elizadoesdolittle · 24/04/2014 14:57

Well E is 8.3kg which is exactly what she was 3 weeks a go. Luckily she is still within the 0.4 and 2 centile so as long as she stays within that I think we are ok. Hopefully she will start bloody drinking milk and keeping food down again!

flouncymcflouncerson · 24/04/2014 15:07

When they said I'd find out today I wrongly assumed it would be earlier.... Still nothing!! What's the betting they call while I'm doing the nursery run at 4pm. I'm sure I've not got it now, they'd have called earlier if i had I'd think.

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 15:35

Possibly Flouncy, but I have not heard the Fat Lady sing yet x

ValiumQueen · 24/04/2014 17:51

Helllloooooooo

Donnadoon · 24/04/2014 17:51

Happy birthday persy Cake
GT Flowers for the last feed, its a bitter sweet moment
dd3 is 12 weeks now and thriving Grin she is a bit of a screamer compared to dd2 and dd2 is still not overly keen on her, although she had a lollipop on holiday last week and shoved some in her sisters mouth before we could reach out ....so that could be marked up as affection for the first time ??? Grin

Donnadoon · 24/04/2014 17:51

hi VQ Grin

Donnadoon · 24/04/2014 18:04

Oh and DS1 went for his 2nd X factor audition today, if he gets through today then he is infront of the judges next time ( first two auditions are infront of producers)

Zamboni · 24/04/2014 18:05

Hello. ThanksBrewWine As needed quiche.

Work work work for me. As ever! Although am not working after bedtime tonight which I will regret in the morning but have a sort of friend coming round for Wine. She's, uh, the architect of her own dramatic existence and I always enjoy the salacious details from a distance and have renewed appreciation of my own consistent existence afterwards!

Wandathewindfairy · 24/04/2014 18:13

Hanging out at Heathrow. Sending hugs to all that need them.

I feel my independant woman days are over. I have not enjoyed doing this without DH, with whom I feel safe and whole and happy. I have missed all the boys terribly.

Work is still up in air. So no better there am glad to be on my way home.

flouncymcflouncerson · 24/04/2014 18:47

No word on job and they'd said we'd know today... Sad Sad

Lily311 · 24/04/2014 19:05

Oh no flouncy, hope you hear tomorrow.
donna my neighbour went 3 years ago, it was a joke. They did see the judges but they were in the 'comedy' factor, just to be viewed to be humiliated later on telly. The whole process was very humiliating for her.
wanda have a safe flight

O's play kitchen arrived, she made me so many cup of coffees. We have no play food or pans yet so improvised by using cream pots and lids. She loves it.

Going to bed soon with a book, I need a good night sleep.

BigPigLittlePig · 24/04/2014 19:05

Gosh it's quiet here.

Flouncy I still have fc for you, horrible nerve wracking wait though isn't it.

Vq thanks for the hitman offer, in the end I just shut all the windows and doors, and stuck some ear plugs in, and had the best sleep I've managed so far. 3 nights down, 3 to go Confused

Pikz Thanks sorry you are having a bit of a nightmare.

3rd night in a row that bedtime cuddles have had to include bedtime bear Smile

StuntNun · 24/04/2014 19:38

So it turns out DS2 is dyslexic only they call it SpLD now (Specific Learning Difficulties). A bit of a difficult day as it brought back memories of all DS1's diagnoses. Having an Aspie already I always described DS2 as NT (neurotypical) only it turns out he isn't. Coupled with J's food intolerances DH remarked that it would be nice to have one child who wasn't defective. Hmm So on to do battle with the school who seem to be spectacularly useless. It turned out at the last parent-teacher meeting that DS1 doesn't even have a statement of special educational needs. Given his dual diagnosis with significant impairment in school and coupled with the fact that he is gifted I just can't understand why he doesn't have a statement or IEP. It makes me wonder if he had ever had either of these, we've certainly never seen any paperwork. I'll have to find out what the requirements are but at the moment it just seems like another battle to fight.

lily oh no! he went on BGT a couple of years ago so is slightly used to the process, but I know what you mean, I certainly don't get my hopes up...sounds terrible...but you have to keep their feet on the ground.
