BrewCake and Wine dished out as relevant. Sorry, been a mad day and I have to dash off to work in a bit!

I am NEVER risking nap time again Shock went to visit a friend, but it's a bit too far to go there then be back for nap at 11:30, and if we went after nap time we'd get about 45 minutes before she had to dash off on the school run. I banked on R sleeping in the car (20 minute drive). No. No sleep. At all. He was ok if a bit tantrummy and wild up until I tried to give him dinner. Which got spat out and thrown. Gave up and he's had a mini breadstick and 2 fruit pots Hmm and went to bed at 5. He's been silent apart from coughing (think he's going down with something) ever since. I'm in for it later, I bet Sad

On the plus side, she gave me her wedding dress - i'll charity shop it afterwards or pass it forward in a similar manner - so that's one less thing to worry about :o and it's far far nicer than anything i've seen or tried on in a shop

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/05/2014 18:14

msjupiter I did tumble tots with DD1. It's fab. But it is quite expensive. I'm hoping to do it with E but need to wait till DD1 starts school as the class times near us don't fit into our day at the moment.

GTbaby · 12/05/2014 18:25

Pp Grin I was thinking about your wedding dress today. As I walked past an Indian dress shop. Do we get a sneak preview?

Yw have considered c25k but I can never keep head phones in. Ouch about your foot tho. I will be taking it quite slow. Last time I did this I went from no working out to half marathon in 9 months. So will aim for similar, 10k maybe. Not a half marathon. Hated that distance.

Lily311 · 12/05/2014 18:39

Hello quiche,
Just came home today after 2 days with my parents. Feeling relieved. Love my parents but home is here.
I do c25k, it's awesome, I mean I did so well on my 5k run. I can highly recommend it. Half marathon next in September.

Great news re wedding dress, glad you got it pp.
pikz hugs

pr o got the bcg at 10 weeks because of her origin. She is due to have her mmr next week, dreading it.

Flying. I flew many times with O. iPad filled with cartoons, lots of snacks and favourite books. I only book very early flights such as 6am so she will be very tired after an early start and usually sleeps most of the journey. We are flying to the uk in 3 weeks, can't wait.

Wandathewindfairy · 12/05/2014 18:49

How,long is your flight lily

Yes,...... Sneak preview please pp

PetiteRaleuse · 12/05/2014 18:56

We had the mmr booster last week and the weird skin reaction started yesterday. Less like ezcema and more like insect bites. Going down with antihistamines. I remember my bcg I was 13-14 I think.

Lily311 · 12/05/2014 19:41

2 hours flight plus 1.5 hours to get to airport.

Passmethecrisps · 12/05/2014 19:43

Evening lady wimmins

Your flight skillz are very impressive lily.

The exercise chat on here is making me feel the need to get me arse into gear.

Who has the rash pr? Both? Sounds not nice.

I very much want a preview of the dress but also I would quite like to see it for the first time when pp is in it

PurplePidjin · 12/05/2014 19:46

i don't have a pic and would feel a bit odd nicking her photos for the quiche Wink

StuntNun · 12/05/2014 20:03

Toddler is in bed before 8 tonight. Phew. I don't know how bedtimes got so bad, my other two weren't this much trouble. At least we finally have his paediatrician appointment - 12th June.

Woke H early from his nap. It was lovely and bright outside so wanted to have a nice walk. And left bad they didn't get to the park this morning due to my run.
But he was ready for bed by 6 Shock had to drag it out until 7. He wasn't grumpy so thought I'd risk it, but couldn't face an early wake tomorrow.

ChasingDaisy · 12/05/2014 21:12

Am very excited about Lily's UK visit Grin

FatimaLovesBread · 12/05/2014 21:24

Evening all!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who's bladder can't always hack it. I'm going to do all the exercises recommended by gussiegrips on another thread and see how I go. When I had the "fanny physio" appointment post birth they said you can self-refer back at any time so worth bearing in mind

Go GT!!

Interesting you've mentioned that Jupiter i was going to ask about tumbletots. I might look into it.

The chat about boob obsession, M is still BF but at the moment has a nose obsession, just to be different. She loves poking my nose and sticking her finger up it and tryig to pull it off saying "nose" over and over. Random child.

I came home from work and did day 2 of the shred! Go me Grin I'm going to ache tomorrow

Off to google tumbletots and download C25k

ChasingDaisy · 12/05/2014 21:30

Ah yes, pelvic floor. I had thought mine was ok, but I've had a few leakages while running...Blush

Passmethecrisps · 12/05/2014 21:32

I have to watch at work.

Goes something like

Need a wee
Need a wee
Need a wee
Forgotten about weeing
NEED a wee
NEED A WEE
Almost wee on pants

BigPigLittlePig · 12/05/2014 21:39

You ladies know how to make me Grin

Was thinking of doing c25k as am desperately unfit. And some muscle might bulk me out. Bit anxious about the old pelvic floor now though!

Good luck to those ttc. I have no idea about the fineries of this as er, we just had a few good shags Blush so am v much a fan of going with the flow.

I would almost lose a limb for our cat. I unashamedly love him Blush Blush

ChasingDaisy · 12/05/2014 22:16

Pig I was worried about running making me even skinnier, but it seems to have had the opposite effect as it has increased my appetite and I already feel stronger Smile

YellowWellies · 12/05/2014 23:18

VQ did you call chicken pox at J's super high temperature last week? He's been a miserable, hot, snotty, coughing, unsleeping cling on with crazy unexplained reflux for four days and I've just found out his three best pals at playgroup have come down with it. Good call Mrs! I've had it so me and the bub are safe. I do hope it is the pox a) for explaining his horrific symptoms and b) I'd rather he got it now than when I've a newborn to worry about!

YellowWellies · 12/05/2014 23:21

How long til I can expect spots to appear?

Am I contagious? I've got a spa day tomorrow DH was going to look after him, and I have had to cancel everything nice recently... given I've been coping with a poxy bear since Friday - he can do a day?

GTbaby · 13/05/2014 00:05

YW. I don't know if you would be contagious. I would go anyway and let dh deal with lo.
Hopefully someone can confirm you won't be contagious.

GTbaby · 13/05/2014 00:06

Oh and cuddles to poxy bear. X

FatimaLovesBread · 13/05/2014 06:12

You won't be contagious YW if you've already has it. You can't be a 'carrier' only if you've actually got it so you should be fine
Enjoy your spa day!

ValiumQueen · 13/05/2014 07:32

YW you will not be contagious but J could be. But it might not be the pox, so you shouldn't worry about isolating him. It is usually 2-3 weeks after the high fever thing that the spots appear. Not all babies have this initial reaction. And it may not be the pox anyway.

Js very mild skin marks have disappeared so I am glad about that. He does have a cavity though, at the back of his front tooth Hmm I am very sad about this, but glad we found it so can deal with it before it causes him trouble. I have been expecting them with his lack of dairy and excessive vomiting.

Pikz · 13/05/2014 07:42

Big hugs to poxy bear

Perse I have my clearblue fertility monitor so am using that. I've not used contraception for 4 months so the going with the flow doesn't always work here!

For flights we have a trunkie with all his things and snacks in. He loves it and lots of books and the iPad. I have to sing a lot of nursery rhymes but I can do an 11 hour daytime flight I can do anything I think now!

Tumble tots is ace. I did it with L til 2 weeks ago and having a break this half term and then will probably go back. It let's him climb in a controlled fashion!

StuntNun · 13/05/2014 08:28

For TTC I would highly recommend using temp charting and ovulation testers. Both DS1 and DS2 were conceived very easily but then we had secondary infertility and DS3 took years. I think monitoring your cycles actually makes TTC more enjoyable as you can plan a few days of fun with your partner at the optimum time rather than dutifully shagging away every other day. Also I found I don't ovulate at the typical time predicted by the charts but I wouldn't have known that without charting my basal body temperature.
