I lost you all!

We're down to the one feed before bed, and once in the night but that's not every night. She's started taking one step at a time but is a whizz with her trolley now. The blocks are taken thrown out and put thrown back in 100+ times a day.

Hope all the poorly babies, and older LOs, are better soon.

Thanks for you happy

CreepyCrawly · 04/02/2014 19:06

Also happy belated birthday wishes!!

Angielka · 04/02/2014 19:57

We're down to one feed a night too. I thought it was going to be tricky, but think my supply's quite low now, and Molly's fine with a cuddle and a sippy cup of milk. Travelling with work next week so that might be it for bf since I left my breast pump in the hotel room last time and they didn't reply to my email asking for it to be returned Blush buggers

lolli hope DS1 is ok Thanks

that sounds so rough happy hope you get a break, chance to rant and shout and some Wine

pascha we have the edge of an upper molar on one side and another molar poking through the opposite side on the bottom so seems Molly's getting 2, if not 4 at once again. Lots of clinging here too when she sees me, although on her own at nursery she's absolutely fine!

Photo bunty!

Happy birthday floss!!

Angielka · 04/02/2014 19:59

Oh and cupcakes - give them a hard time. DD1 is allergic to kiwi and it's a new thing. I'm sure if her body had been better protected from highly allergenic food she would have had a better chance of not developing further allergies.

Glorious egg allergy is rubbish, but there are some good vegan cake recipes. Google has been my friend in that respect these last 3 years...

Lora1982 · 04/02/2014 20:37

What a shocker of a week. Hes been refusing sleep til gone 11 but I think weve got that back on track again touch wood hes got two top molars one either side and a new front one so thats ten already! How many do they get? Yestsrday was horrendous he puked his dinner and bottle everywhere I had to swap rugs and deep clean.

Pissed off with dp he starts drinking at 5 which renders him useless at night time help im sick and tired of telling him I need him to help. One time he helped last week I gave up at ten and 5 minutes into his turn I heard "oh ffs" then he was willing to just sit him infront of a two hr youtube video of in the fukin night garden!!! I went down again at 11 and he fell straight sleep in his cot. Im still fuming I really dont know what more I can do to get through to him about being a tit.

BuntyCollocks · 04/02/2014 21:00

lora "d"p sounds like a shit! Get him sorted!

I will post pics!

We're down to two generally very short feeds, one on wakening and one last thing at night. A bit sad, actually, would have quite liked a boob monster.

God, lots of teeth going about! We only have three! One more looks imminent, but it has looked that way for the past two months!

Struggling to keep up what with work and feeling fluey :(

Happy birthday to Floss and any other babies I've missed Cake

Hugs to all the poorly babies :( Glorious is she teething again?

Congrats to all the little talkers and walkers! We had some tentative first staggers steps tonight! Very exciting.

Sorry DP is being rubbish Lora :( You could post on the Relationships board? (Tho I expect you know what they'll say there :()

Haven't bfed for a few days now. He's slept through a few nights in a row (tho still been up for the day at 5ish Angry), and I haven't bfed him in the mornings as he was biting me every single morning, hard, with a big grin on his face Angry.

CreepyCrawly · 04/02/2014 21:27

Good luck with the cake bunty! I recreated my first birthday cake for Nancy, which was a boot. I stressed about it loads but it turned out pretty great, even if I do say so myself.

Does he drink every night lora? I don't know what to suggest though because my DH is a bit shit sometimes, although he is improving gradually now that he's in charge when I'm working.

Yay on the steps meringue! Hope you feel better soon

Pascha · 04/02/2014 21:53

Oh dear. I get someone else to make all the childrens birthday cakes because I have the artistic ability of a turnip with slightly fewer hands...

Lora your dp is a twunt. I have complete sympathy for you.

baby teeth order of appearance nice and clear info

glorious · 05/02/2014 16:02

pascha Gruffalo kisses sound so lovely! We got the book for birthday too so will see if E does it too...

tugs thanks, not quite as dreadful though still bad. I'm getting more sleep as I'm feeding lying down again so can at least drift off when she has a mammoth go. Morning, 610-730 continuously (including in bath!) and too many times to count in the night here. meringue she may be teething, she's pushing them through at an alarming rate.

angielka if there are any particular recipes you'd recommend I'd be grateful as my attempts haven't been entirely successful!

Sad Thanks for lora

Pascha · 05/02/2014 17:21

We've got a Gruffalo touch and feel book from somewhere with a furry gruffalo tummy and it asks them to be brave enough to kiss the Gruffalo so thats where he got it from.

meringuesnowflakes33 · 05/02/2014 17:23

Glorious that's exactly what my LO does when he is teething.

glorious · 05/02/2014 17:27

Awh we just have the ordinary book I think.

meringue she's just dropped the lunchtime feed as she's at the childminder and won't take expressed milk so that's part of her evening feeding I think. But perhaps more teeth - 6 in as many weeks already!

salt1 · 05/02/2014 18:07

hello all

thank you for floss's birthday wishes. think she had a good day was at nursery and teething so not on brilliant form but nursery made a fuss of her.

i am impressed with those making the birthday cakes. floss will be having one from tescos at her party on sat.

Pascha · 05/02/2014 18:20

heehee Daniel waited for DH to get home then, as soon as he picked him up, did the most enormous poo necessitating a full strip and dunk in the bath Grin. I and DS1 are sitting downstairs eating the bread pudding he brought home from MIL and I'm drinking coffee while DH sorts him out GrinGrinGrin

salt1 · 05/02/2014 18:21

floss pukes when teething too lora it is hideous x

meringuesnowflakes33 · 05/02/2014 21:14

God knows what I'll do the next time if I stop bf in the meantime and there's no milk left :O

AppleCrumples · 05/02/2014 21:56

Hi all

lora thats crap from 'd'p. Its all hard enough without having to deal with a giant toddler too Sad

bunty cakes come from tescos here by request after i made one for dd1 which was awful Blush

Re bf we are down to just before before bed. Ivy seens ok with that but tgen latches on like a little addict at bedtime :)

Lostbobbles · 05/02/2014 22:24

Happy bit belated Birthday MiniSalt

salt1 · 06/02/2014 04:22

for those who have reduced/ stopped bf how did u do it

Pascha · 06/02/2014 08:01
meringuesnowflakes33 · 06/02/2014 08:23

Salt we were mixing anyway so slightly different situation, but basically just distracted with activity, sippy cup or food.

lollipoppi · 06/02/2014 09:52

Grin Pascha what a lovely welcome home for daddy pascha

Lora sorry your DP is being an idiot Hmm

Thanks for all the wishes, ds1 is a bit better after some steroids and copious amounts of inhalers glad we managed to avoid hospital again!

DD is fast asleep after being up most of the night with teething, I'm sacking off baby splash today and sitting in my arse having a Brew instead Smile

mrsbug · 06/02/2014 10:58

Aargh dd bit my nipples this morning! I am on my period and don't seem to have much milk so I wonder if she was getting frustrated? She was evicted from the boob for her efforts.

Lolli glad your ds is better.

Lora how are things with dp? Sounds like he needs a kick up the backside

LetThereBeCupcakes · 06/02/2014 11:01

salt I would REALLY like to know the answer to that question! We battled to drop the afternoon feed - we had a few days with DS screaming and clawing at me because he could smell the milk (but was happy as anything if I left him with DH / my mum). Once the milk dried up he was fine and we had a few days of only BFing morning and evening and all night. Then I got a blocked milk duct and the only thing I could really think to do was keep latching him on to clear it. It worked, but we're now back to square one! I think I really, really need to break this sleep / feed cycle. I struggle to drop feeds because he wants to feed to sleep. I can't get him to self settle because he wants the milk! Nightmare.

Lora sorry about your OH. Sorry if it's not my place but is he drinking a lot?

DS has worked out how to get his hands behind the cupboard catches in the kitchen. Hmm
