salt1 · 26/02/2014 21:27

omg I lost you all ... oh the panic x

will catch up now ....

mrsbug · 26/02/2014 21:35

Congrats lora on the walking.

Dd has just mastered standing on her own so I think we've a while to wait for first steps

Lora1982 · 26/02/2014 22:31

Ooh won't be long bugs. He first started doing standing on his birthday so about a month and a half ago

Birdies · 27/02/2014 08:34

lolli glad you are home now and hope DD is ok. Hope the other babies are feeling better too.

Great re the walking! Talking of walking, when are we meant to buy them proper outdoor shoes? And is Clarks the best place to to?

Pascha · 27/02/2014 10:03

Damn. Missed Daniels appointment to check his ear by half an hour. I could kick myself Angry. Have to wait til monday now to see if his drum is perforated and can't go swimming til we know. Bugger bugger bugger!

Well done Dexter on walking! Bet he overtakes Dan now as he just does 3 steps and sit down and still would rather crawl everywhere.

Mrsbug DS1 went from standing to cruising within about 2 weeks and only another month after that was running. Bet your DD is fast now she's on her feet too.

Lolli poor you and poor DS1. Hope his asthma is better now and that sickness doesn't take over the house like it did us and obviously Bunty.

I'd love a dog but goodness knows when we'd have time to walk it so for now its a no-no but maybe once DS1 is at school it might be easier.

D is throwing lego round the kitchen. I'm sitting on the sofa with my legs up out of the way. He seems to be having fun so I'm not stopping him. The cats took one look at it and ran back out in the rain. Silly animals. No brains to go and find a dry corner in the house out of the way of dangerous borderline-toddlers Hmm

Got to nursery this morning in the pissing rain, stripped DS1 of his waterproofs and boots, went back to the buggy and found I hadn't actually strapped Daniel in and he was starting to disappear down into the footmuff under the raincover Blush. Oops.

mrsbug · 27/02/2014 11:26

Oh no Pascha how annoying!

Dd can get around the house really quickly, she's like a little ninja, cruising along the sofa, to the baby walker, then onto daddy's record collection where she can empty his terrible 90s dance music precious vinyl onto the floor in seconds flat.

I am trying to work from home today but now have a cuddly purring cat on my lap, I can hardly throw her off, can I?

JuniperTisane · 27/02/2014 11:32

Tis I, Pascha. I'm trialling a new NN today.

Dan is dangerously fast both crawling and cruising now. Yesterday at toddler group I put him down on the floor and took DS1's coat off, looked up and he was all the way over the other side of the hall trying to pull down a lego tower Shock Little horror! If he attempts steps he's all wibbly-wobbly and down again very quickly. Much much slower.

I would have been at the pool if Ds ear checked out. As it is I am sitting in joggers on my arse buggering about on here Grin

BuntyCollocks · 27/02/2014 13:59

No more sick, thank goodness, but still a sore tummy. Not sure what to make of it. It's waking him up at night. :(

I don't know what to call you, pascha / juniper!

lolli glad you're home and DS1 on the mend.

Well done on the walking, Dexter! And :O at all of Ivy's teeth! We still just have 5. Little weirdo. Didn't read the book, obviously, that teeth are meant to come in pairs.

Our night times are horrendous again. Since saturday night we've averaged 4 hours of broken sleep. Worst was night before last when she was up from 1 - 5am.

Her reflux has really kicked up a notch, plus she seems to be having a monster growth spurt. Yesterday she packed away porridge at home, cereal and banana at nursery, then apple and pear, lunch with pudding, snack in the afternoon, dinner with TWO puddings, pasta at home, and then a bloody hot dog! She is TINY. I don't know how she's not the size of a house. She's also still having a breast feed first and last thing, and now a bottle of cows milk in the middle of the night, too.

FFS.

Bunty that sounds like dd, she used to be tiny!

salt1 · 27/02/2014 19:56

I lost u all again. Is it the websire or me? i am guessing me. Crappiest parenting day ever day. Wil catch up them post more x

BuntyCollocks · 27/02/2014 20:18

Haha, mrsb! Must say I am a but worried at what she can eat. Currently sat with a poorly boy on my lap. His tummy is really sore, no other symptoms. Shitting it incase it's appendicitis. He's got out of hours at 9.20pm.

OP posts:
meringuesnowflakes33 · 27/02/2014 20:49

Oh no poor DC1 hope he is ok Bunty

I'm in our home county

JuniperTisane · 27/02/2014 20:50

Sad Bunty poor little boy. Appendicitis is quickly and easily dealt with nowadays though so if he does need an op it should be over and done with fast. xxx for him.

BuntyCollocks · 27/02/2014 21:09

Thank you, juniper and meringue. Dh is away up with him whilst I sit and fret.

meringuesnowflakes33 · 28/02/2014 07:23

Any news this morning? X

LetThereBeCupcakes · 28/02/2014 11:29

bunty how did it in last night? DS eats masses too - more than me some days!

We found DS a kitchen - would have been over £150 new but my friend sold us hers for £50, and threw in loads of accessories too. DS has played with nothing else for 3 days.

Yet another boob infection here. I'm so over breast feeding! How do I tell DS?

Who was asking about when to get shoes? We got some for DS at the weekend because he's desperate to follow the dogs outside! He's suddenly really keen to walk now!

meringuesnowflakes33 · 28/02/2014 20:27

Really hope it's good news Bunty

Does anyone else have a really clever baby? Grin

It's like overnight he's suddenly got the hang of all his toys. He's shape sorting like mad, matching pictures, boinging things, putting things in slots, stacking hoops like there's no tomorrow.

BuntyCollocks · 28/02/2014 20:44

Hello all, ds is fine, relatively speaking. They think it's a gastro bug but with no other symptoms Hmm

Who knows. He's pale and clingy, although had a nap today, and still not eating. Still sore tum. Hoping for a better night.

AppleCrumples · 28/02/2014 20:54

bunty poor ds hope he is feeling better soon Flowers

meringue yes Ivy seems to suddenly be able to properly play with things now. She seems more interested in climbing on them though, caught her trying to climb on her shape sorter and then the tv stand.

Someone left the stairgate open earlier, only realised when ds1 shouted 'why is Ivy up here?' Went up and she was happily playing with dd1 dolls. Little monkey :)

JuniperTisane · 28/02/2014 21:59

Poor thing Bunty hope he gets better very soon.

Daniel is quite the expert at brumming cars, tractors etc. He is also adept at tipping box contents out and throwing it all back in again. Same for my kitchen cupboards Hmm. He really likes poring over his books in a quiet corner and brings me Dear Zoo and Goodnight Moon many times a day. He has started stacking and attemots duplo though he cant actually stick it together yet. I realised he has no shape sorter though so no skills there. He is fascinated by the cats and also any birdies he spots which he points at rather in the style of a nazi salute¡

They are all getting so cheeky arent they?

lollipoppi · 01/03/2014 07:50

Hope he is doing ok this morning Bunty?

DD is just beginning to play with her stackers and sorters too, but she will prefers to put things in a tub then take them out again, and again, and again Grin
Cupcakes great news on the kitchen bargain! Sounds like he loves it.

been a bit of a shitty week here with DS in hospital then DD started with a vomiting bug and came out in a big rash, now has ulsers on her tongue too, she has been utterly miserable

Ds1 is currently licking my windows, strange child

CreepyCrawly · 01/03/2014 19:17

I've been working myself up all day today because I decided last week that this weekend would be the end of bf. and she's gone to bed straight away no problem after a cup of milk. I'm not sure how to take it haha.

Lostbobbles · 01/03/2014 21:20

Hello all

Dropped off for a while

Just been trying to catch up, sorry to hear about all poorly babies, DD2 has been having a bit of a rough time as well, first ear and then chest infection. Hmm

Was out for a hen last night so feeling a little fragile today. Managed to send kids to mil's for a couple of hours then DH decided we should go shopping! Thankfully was a short trip.

BuntyCollocks · 02/03/2014 16:53

Thanks everyone, sorry to hear about dd2, lost

Dd and dh have starting vomiting, and dh is rolling about
Our bed clutching his stomach. Fuck sake.
