That recipe looks very good Ang I might give it a go even though we are all ok with egg. Is that american cup measurements?

Glorious I bet Ellen was the star of the show!

Daniel took a first faltering couple of steps towards daddy this morning, then promptly sat back down and stayed down. He's got green gunk coming out of one ear, think I will have to take him to the docs tomorrow.

Angielka · 09/02/2014 14:36

Those cakes look great cupcakes and bunty. We seem to be on a bit of a theme Wink

I have to say glorious and pascha that I really like the cake that results from that recipe, and it's so easy. I usually use recipes with weighed-out ingredients but that one I use some cup measurements I have (I guess they are US pascha yes) and as long as the proportions are right, it always seems to turn out pretty well. I'm not very exact...

lora how are things with DH? lost that must be such a relief for you - well done on DH's new job! DH and I had a bit of a heart to heart this weekend. Sometimes things need to be put out there and sorted out. Feel much better for it.

apple Molly will go and look for 'doudou' if you ask her too! Have to admit, I do it for fun all the time sometimes.

Nursery is great for some things meringue Molly has started climbing on everything but just as I thought she was going to fall off our bed this morning, she turned herself round, swung her leg over and slid down backwards. Must be nursery that's shown her that.

Sorry for epic post but must also share this vegan recipe for brownies. It's pretty good too Grin

Angielka · 09/02/2014 14:37

Oh and I meant to say I'm super nosy interested in seeing our babies now they're one. Will put up a pic of Molly I've just taken. Anyone else?

glorious · 09/02/2014 15:02

Oh yum I would love a brownie to make up for the sticky toffee pudding I passed on yesterday. On the way back to London atm and have a job application to finish when back but I may have to fit some brownie making in!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 09/02/2014 18:53

I made brownies yesterday using nutella. Yum.

Picture of DS uploaded as per Angielka's request! Looking forward to seeing all the babies.

Lolli how are you feeling? My mum had one of those years ago and was very, very poorly.

Pascha congrats on the walking!

DS has learned how to go downstairs on his own (with my supervision!) and all we've been doing all day is going up and down the stairs. Between that and yesterday's mop fiasco I've got nothing done and I'm exhausted!

DH is blaming the supermarket delivery people for our lack of chocolate chips. Hmm

lollipoppi · 10/02/2014 09:14

Mnnn all this chocolate talk is making my mouth water!

Well done dan on the steps!

Mum stepped in yesterday and took the kids.
Luckily she works for me and DP so instead of her working today she is looking after the children
I'm feeling very lost without them!

Pascha · 10/02/2014 10:49

Oh but you have some peace and quiet now and you can look forward to seeing the children later which will be really lovely after a nice restful day. The last thing you need is to keep going until you collapse with exhaustion. Good for your mum.

I have been inspired to bake so chocolate chips (amongst all the other ingredients above) have been added to tomorrow's online shopping order the chocolate chips may not make it to the cookies here either

Just uploaded a hastily taken picture from his pushchair this morning. Waiting eagerly now to see other babies/toddlers.

Pascha · 10/02/2014 10:51

Oh yes. Lovely banana flavour antibiotics prescribed for his gunky ear which may or may have a perforated eardrum, we can't tell until the earsnot clears up.

CreepyCrawly · 10/02/2014 11:57

I can never get my photos on the right way, so Nancy is sideways. Taken about 10 minutes ago. So lovely seeing everyone's babies as they grow :)

lolli hope you get plenty of rest today and pascha I hope Dan is better soon.

Mmm brownies and cookies. I'm making do with Nutella sandwiches for now.

We might venture in to town this afternoon and get Nancy some shoes. She's starting to look deprived now Grin

lollipoppi · 10/02/2014 12:56

I've updated with a picture!
Love seeing all the babies growing up! Angelka I can't see yours I think it's private?

happyhow · 10/02/2014 16:06

I'm currently doing some depressing marking. ?? me now!!!

Hope Dan is better soon Pascha.

Loving the recipes. I'm going to bake tonight! and try not to eat it all to make up for the marking...

happyhow · 10/02/2014 16:07

That was supposed to have a little pic of a gun so that someone can shoot me... Forgot they don't work!

AppleCrumples · 10/02/2014 16:59

I think i have updated pic! Hmm

pascha Dan looks lovely and toastythere! Hope he is feeling better soon.

Eveyones babies are growing up so quick, its lovely to see them.

lolli hope you are resting. Sending Flowers

creepy mine are always sideways too. No idea why!

Pascha · 10/02/2014 17:16

Mine always come out sideways if I take it from my phone upright and then upload it straight away. It comes out the right way round if I take a sideways picture instead. Does that make any sense? Confused

Tugstonia · 10/02/2014 17:21

Hi all

Lolli hope you're feeling better, sounds scary Flowers

All the babies are soooooo cute! Have uploaded pic of mine on her b'day Smile

I want chocolate chip cookiesssssss... and brownies...

mrsbug · 10/02/2014 20:03

Lolli I hope you are feeling better, glad you are getting some rest.
Well done Dan on the walking!
Dd has started saying 'Gen' (again), brum for car, and she does the baby sign for duck. Today she has a gammy eye, hope they let her go to nursery with it tomorrow.

Today I finally bought a new car seat, she is so squished in her baby one but dp and I have been debating which one to get I won

glorious · 10/02/2014 20:41

Oh look at all the babies, so lovely to see their personalities shining through. And all the hair! I've uploaded a couple of action shots (playing with toy kitchen / eating babyccino).

lolli hope you're much better, horrible thing to happen.

Birdies · 10/02/2014 20:51

Haven't posted for a while (well, a while for me). It's much harder catching up if you don't read things everyday! Lovely to see everyone's photos, what a sweet bunch of babies.

I've been referred for my heart jumping about but I think it's probably a combination of stress and hormones and it's not as bad since I stopped bf. Went cold turkey and had a week of rock hard really sore boobs but now they've settled down again. Feel a bit sad that I've stopped but at the same time a bit more free (I think someone else said that earlier in the thread too).

lolli how are you feeling?

newbie6 · 10/02/2014 21:16

Just uploaded a photo but it's on its side too, no idea how to sort! All the babies are soooo cute! X

lollipoppi · 10/02/2014 21:19

Love all the babies, and so nice to put little faces to names!

Birdies hope your referral goes ok!

Been in a lot of pain today despite tramodol, and had to do my own injection which took me about 30 mins just to pluck up the balls to stick it in!
I've got an MRI scan tomorrow at 9am so hopefully will have some more answers by tomorroe night
Missing my babies terribly, it's the first time I've not seen Darcie for more than a day Hmm

Lostbobbles · 10/02/2014 21:58

Just trying to catch up

Lolli hope you get well quickly, sounds horrible xThanks

Pascha, well done Dan on steps but sorry to hear he is poorly and wish him speedy recovery as-well

My DD1 has double ear infection, thought she was faking to get out of tennis, managed to get emergency Dr appoint on way home and had terrible mother guilt, when Dr winced when looking in the ear that doesn't hurt Shock.

Will try get on laptop tom and put updated pic up, looking forward to seeing all your gorgeous babies toddlers

All the baking posts are making me salivate, I'm supposed to watching what I eat not happening now I'm not bf and since my 30 day shred effort has so far consisted on me doing it approx 4 2 times in a fortnight.

DD2 has started trying to walk backwards!

AppleCrumples · 11/02/2014 10:27

Ughh period turned up :( feel horrid and hormone related anxiety suddenly sky high. Still Ivy is 13 months so have got away withour it for a long time..yay bf! Still feel like shit though

Birdies · 11/02/2014 13:12

apple poor you it is horrible and I've only just started getting it, seemingly out of nowhere but I think it's hormone related too. Hope you can have a nice relaxing day.

lolli how are you doing today?

lost hope your DD feels better soon.

newbie cute photo! Must be more people to put photos up? Starting to think I would recognise our babies now if I saw them! I've just added a recent photo of X (I think).

fourlegstwolegs · 11/02/2014 14:28

I have very exciting news: Felix is WALKING! It's very sweet. He walks with his legs really far apart and with his arms stuck up in the air. However when I put his outdoor onesie on he tends to fall over and can't get his arms out in front as the suit is bulky - there have been some nasty face planting falls and I don't know what to do about it :(

Lora how are things with DP? Sounds like he need a reality check. Have a serious chat with him.

lollipoppi · 11/02/2014 17:46

Oh apple, anxiety is not good, any help you can get for it? Tablets ect?

Well done Felix on walking!

Had my scan today, injections are working and blood clot is dispersing, still in a lot of pain, but my babies are home now I've missed them so much!
Couldn't have come at a worse time, it's valentines week, and we own a florist!
