Just starting a new thread as noticed old on nearly full up.

Granny, my 15 yr old niece has recently been diagnosed with bipolar, she was self harming and her mood swings were horrendous, she was so high at times but then became drastically depressed. She is on medication (not sure what) and seeing a councillor.
How was the Scan today?

Ah thanks guys...I'm speaking to her tonight on the phone so will mention it to her. Yes I think he's tried to self harm previously but SIL saw it coming & hid all the knives...

My sis says she also has a girl in her class who is about to be put on anti psychotics too...it's all scary stuff, at such a young age...I can't help feeling its trial & error with mental health drugs...

granny hope sil/nephew are ok, what a worry. Hopefully they will get to the root of the problem and the medication will help the problem.

Anna has my head turned with the clothes issue at the minute - she will only wear dresses with short or no sleeves. They don't have to be fancy but trousers are an abomination to her - she despairs of me & Sofia - it's like she's waiting to Gok Wan us. I really don't know where she gets it from - I can't even blame my mum or mil . Anna's spent more time with me at this age than the other two!

It's Easter Egg hunt hunt at Toddler group today so of course it's pissing it down

Wiggs ds3 was the same with clothes.
He had an operation in his clothes as he refused to wear the unfashionable theatre gown!
I remember my hairdresser friend popping to the shop during our hair cuts and ds solemnly reminding her that she had "a hair clip on your cardigan" as if that was the worst possible ever fashion faux pas!

american completely forgot to say, how annoying re: FIL. Has he disappeared? Did Leo at least get a good play with him so you could have a relax ?

Ahem, speaking of clothes, today I have bought Alice and I matching skirts. I liked them so much I actually bought myself the oldest child version of it it fits but it's quite short as they don't do it in adults. Is this an awful parenting faux pas that will lead to there being a mn thread about that terrible parent who dresses in the same skirt as her daughter, so is this quite acceptable? In my defence, it is an absolutely lovely skirt

I have an appointment at EPU tomorrow morning at 11:30, not hopeful.

How are you feeling about it? (God that's such an obvious question) I mean are you ok? (Again, useless questioning) . Thinking of you, and at least you'll know tomorrow. Has the bleeding worsened?

I think it has all hit me now, I was in a bit of denial about the whole situation. I have had no spotting today, but still have a sharp pain in my side. I am terrified that its ectopic. Iain is away with work so my mil is coming along with me.

It's so hard for you, like you don't want to hope should you get bad news but you can't help but hope. I don't know if there's a general pattern to mcs or not but I know when I had bleeding it was spotting initially but it never went away or stopped. At least they will see tomorrow but it must feel such a wait with the ectopic worry. Glad you've got someone going with you tomorrow xx

Poor you. I think it's normal to kid yourself you are ok for a bit because the alternative is too shit.
There is nothing we can say, I wish there was so I won't bother just know that we are all here as ever and really wishing good things for you.
Try to sleep if you can and get tomorrow here as soon as possible.
I do know that with both of my girls I'd have out my house on having lost them but they were ok so maybe you will be lucky.

No pregnancy sac was found, my uterus lining is thick and I'm waiting on HCG blood results. Not good news I'm afraid.
