Scheming, you say PR?

lily I worry about that too. S has had loads. Hmm

Am watching 7.39 on quiche recommendation. I love Sheridan Smith.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/01/2014 19:44

Yep. I have shitloads of scheming to do. Will keep me more than busy until my rtw.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/01/2014 19:44

Which has to happen, sooner or later, so am debating between sooner, or later.

GTbaby · 08/01/2014 20:00

Glad I missed this morning today. I've hot very defensive of bf recently. Lol.
Lydi the view is based on a show here called loose women. Which also had a very poorly discussed section about bf a few weeks ago.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 20:06

Scheming. Hmm, how intriguing!

Flouncy I am sorry to hear about the need for further surgery, what a disappointment after eveything you've been throuh already. I so hope they can sort things for you.

Isles, I was relieved to hear M had a better day today, and that you were able to resolve things with the CM.

Sophia, hope work comes through for you, that plan sounds ideal. And pidj, when is your interview? Good luck.

YW, was well chuffed that part of team pig was in your dream. Suspect F would have been the only one of the trio to be playing on the floor though - J and O would more likely have been perched on top of something Grin.

Stinky puppy had a bath tonight, and is now going bonkers, bloody hound.

A good day at work today, did a load of procedures, successfully, and got lots of assessments done so all v productive.

Sophiathestormfairy · 08/01/2014 20:07

Ooh I Luvs a bit of scheming.

DF and evil stepmother due to come over next week, I am busy prepping menus opinions please ( DH will just grunt and agree)

Day 1 ..scallops, pear and chorizo salad thing followed by cow crumble, followed by a chocolate pot thing (poss a bought chocolate pot thing)
Day 2 lunch out somewhere dinner Spanish style chicken tray bake (keeping it light you see) that is it.
Day 3 butternut squash soup with wheaten bread, dinner curry night chicken passanda and chana masala rice and nan maybe anothe bought light pudding.

Whadoyouthink?

PetiteRaleuse · 08/01/2014 20:08

I just don't see why how people feed their babies is a big deal even worthy of such bias in either direction. It's such a stupid thing for the media to create camps on. Pits women against women, which is the point I guess. Very stupid. Each choice is victimised. Look at the model (Gisele?) when she tongue in cheekedly tweeted the multi tasking picture. It was a funny sweet picture. Then you get others highlighted for ff the baby.

So glad I live in France. Bf is encouraged but I can count the number of French women Who even bothered asking. Including doctors (except of course paeds, as they need to know).

The debate just doesn't exist here. Women not feeding their babies would make headlines.

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:11

Ouch, I'm sore after tandem-wearing 2 1yos this morning! Now i need to pack up all R's musical instrument toys, I'm running my first baby music class tomorrow Shock am now bricking it Sad fucking lecturers destroying my confidence and giving me chronic stage fright yikes!

PetiteRaleuse · 08/01/2014 20:14

soph sounds LOVELY.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/01/2014 20:15

pidj you'll rock. Excuse the pun.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 20:16

Sounds bloomin' marvellous.

Good luck with the class, pidj. Sure it'll be great. Do you know how many will be there?

fruitpastilles · 08/01/2014 20:19

Evening quiche. First day back at playgroup after the holidays today, we bloody needed it aswell. It's mad how much the babies have come on in 2 weeks. A girl who had just started taking a couple of steps is now running round. S who wasn't even remotely interested in walking is now having a good go, and others seem to be doing more aswell. I'm off to get S her first proper shoes tomorrow, I think because we have laminate flooring it will help her. Also I'm joining slimming world again tomorrow eek!

I luffs a bit of scheming pr
sophia your menus always have my mouth watering, as do pr's

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:19

I'm pondering this as wedding garb, opinions please?

This is light, easy and freezes Sophia I use oj, switch ginger for cinnamon and nutmeg and ditch the rhubarb to do a christmassy one, or ginger biscuit base with lemon topping (use zest instead of ginger) is awesome. And you need 75g butter not 200g Hmm

fruitpastilles · 08/01/2014 20:20

Good luck pidj not that you will need it!

Elizadoesdolittle · 08/01/2014 20:23

pidj sounds fab. sure you'll be marvellous.

sophia scallops are my fav thing ever so that's a big hit with me. And I love the sound of the Spanish style chicken tray thing.

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:24

No idea, but loads of my mummy mates can't think of a better term sorry have said they're up for it. Hartbeeps are moving in locally and i can't compete with lights and puppets so I'm going for old-fashioned singing and stories and a few instruments. 45-50 minutes (i hope!) cheap and cheerful. Emphasis on giving parents the confidence to sing to their babies, the kids can rampage round with the shaky eggs!

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 20:25

Pidj I think it would depend on what was worn underneath? Had you said a simple shift dress, or did I imagine that? It would look good with something simple, but if you had a more detailed dress then could be a bit fussy. Caveat: I have limited fashion sense.

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:31

I have 11 songs and 3 story books (on the lesson plan) plus 2 spare books and a brain full of songs that i hope i can remember the words to Hmm

horseylady · 08/01/2014 20:31

What's your dress pp you will get pulled and hugged quite a bit. Could you find something slightly less delicate?

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:34

3 spare books - I've put one in that takes forbloodyever can be sung and is a brown baby with a white mummy which was a bonus whei got it home

Yes, something simple underneath BP i don't do faff or make up

or jewellery

or tidy hair

Hmm
Evilwater · 08/01/2014 20:36

Hello all,
Been back to work on my own ward last night. I enjoyed being back. n spent the time with the grandparents, then went to nursery and of course I've written the wrong day down again. Sad

N has been wonderful again, I think he has an other tooth coming so I've given him some calpol tonight.

PurplePidjin · 08/01/2014 20:37

Sophiathestormfairy · 08/01/2014 20:37

Brilliant thanks all. I have saved the cheese cake pp think is a goer. Thanks.

I love the cardi, partic if you are keeping it simples underneath.

Also v good luck for the music class.

vq heellllllloooooo. How did DHs Drs appointment go today?

eliza the chicken tray bake is a hairy dieters one! we have it quite a lot, is v easy chuck it all in kind of dinner great with some French bread to mop up the juices.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/01/2014 20:39

Pidj I don't do makeup really, but it was a real treat to have my hair done, and makeup. It can be done v cheaply too, especially if you forget to use the word wedding Grin.

Kyz · 08/01/2014 20:49

Evening guys :)

Thanks for the reassurance :) I do feel better now after wise quiche wisdom, I knew I would :) E has been on top form today with grub which is wonderful because for about 2 weeks he seemed to live on air. I think it was teething and a cold, poor sod. Took him to the doctors about his eczema today and he has oilatum for the bath. Do I wash him with softwash aswell as make sure he's well covered in oilatum water, or do I not bother? Prior to this he had hydrocortisone for bad patches and dermol for all over. He now has Csomething for all over and hydrocortisone plus the oilatum too.

bplp my mum has to regularly gut my 11yo sisters room for her. She is also a hoarder and ends up with stacks of crap everywhere if mum isn't careful!

Glad CM issues and ll issues even if temp are sorted isles :)
