New series of Sherlock starts tonight, I am far more excited about this than I should be.

ChasingDaisy · 01/01/2014 10:12

Fruit I can't wait for Sherlock! I have been looking forward to it all Christmas Grin

MsJupiterJones · 01/01/2014 10:21

Hello quiche, I have a poorly DH too, don't think it's food poisoning as I haven't got it and we all ate the same food (that I cooked so I hope not!)

My sis came round and we waited to see if the baby would make a last dash for the exit but I guess it didn't fancy being born in 2013. She is booked for induction on Sat so fx it kicks off before then.

L woke a few times again quite distressed so our blissful peaceful couple of weeks of sleeping through seems to be over. Maybe it is temporary though, he might at last be getting some teeth!

MsJupiterJones · 01/01/2014 10:22

and yy to Sherlock Grin

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 01/01/2014 10:28

Sherlock in this corner too!

ValiumQueen · 01/01/2014 10:32

JJ how many teeth has L got?

Sympathies for food alcohol poisoning.

ValiumQueen · 01/01/2014 10:33

I have never seen Sherlock. Perhaps I should.

Thechick · 01/01/2014 10:42

Happy new year all.

Trying to catch up but not doing very well.
I'm another one who doesn't use 'no'
I try and keep the areas that he's free in as child proof as possible and remove him or distract him from a dangerous situation giving more than a no. 'No touching the bin, it's dirty' or 'no touching the radiator, it's hot' . H can understand some questions but not everything as he's too young. And I try and show him what the right thing is to do, so if he's pinching me, it would be no pinching, it hurts and then I'll show him what gently is and say gently whilst doing it.

Congrats Pp that's such lovely news.

Off to catch up more

Passmethecrisps · 01/01/2014 10:44

Morning and happy new year to all!

Sorry to hear of illness and broken nights.

I have seen Sherlock - liked it a lot.

fruitpastilles · 01/01/2014 11:03

vq Sherlock is brilliant, you should deffo give it a watch if you haven't before.
chasing I thought you'd be looking forward to it, I'm sure you mentioned it before, when you got the radio times.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/01/2014 11:12

Envy of watching Sherlock. I quite enjoyed it but no UKTV here with my houseguests....

MsJupiterJones · 01/01/2014 11:13

VQ he just has the two bottom ones. His top 2 (possibly more) have been on the verge of coming out for weeks and he is chewing his fingers like mad.

Sherlock is dreamy very intelligent drama.

fruitpastilles · 01/01/2014 11:14

Oh no pr can you record it?
The last Harry Potter is on tonight aswell, even though I have the box set on blu-ray I still always watch it when it's on tv. Does anyone else do that?

fruitpastilles · 01/01/2014 11:15

jj yy to dreamy, however, in every other thing I've seen BC in I've just not thought it at all. Very strange.

ValiumQueen · 01/01/2014 11:19

Wow JJ. My J has 12 teeth through, including 4 pre-molars, and has his incisors coming through. Apparently the later teeth come through the stronger they are. My great Aunt was born with 4 teeth and they ripped them out. Poor baby.

ChasingDaisy · 01/01/2014 11:21

YY to dreamy Sherlock, but I am also a huge Martin Freeman fan. I'm so annoyed that ITV scheduled HP against it, but it is Sherlock all the way for me. I NEED to know how he did it. Molly is obviously involved somehow, along with that garbage truck...

fruitpastilles · 01/01/2014 11:27

Oh I know chasing I cannot wait to find out! I'm recording HP, will watch Sherlock then the recording after - if I can stay awake that long ha.

S still only has 2 bottom teeth aswell, and no signs at all of any more coming through yet.

MsJupiterJones · 01/01/2014 11:56

VQ your poor great aunt ShockConfusedAngrySad

Fruit that is good to know we are not the only gummy ones!

Martin Freeman is also very lovely but BC does it for me every time. Worryingly my mum also fancies him, it's the first time we've had a crossover...

Claim to Cumber-fame: I once went to see a play in a pub theatre and he was in the audience too I then spent the hour after the play finding reasons to walk past him Grin

PurplePidjin · 01/01/2014 12:18

It's my dad's birthday today so this evening will be dinner en famille. R and i are staying over, df is having a night off. I spent most of yesterday evening making a 1949 MG TD out of fruit cake, marzipan, glace cherries and jelly sweets Xmas Hmm tis fucking spectacular and I'm vair proud of myself

MsJupiterJones · 01/01/2014 12:20

Pic please pp!

ReindeerIsles · 01/01/2014 12:30

Yes photo please pp !

It was Def the dodgy prawns at the buffet. Me, p and several other villagers were vomming all night/morning. Blergh. glad I didn't go home with the pilot WinkBlush

Now I just have a stinking hangover. sophia I will invest in some of that stuff. And stop moaning.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/01/2014 13:09

Lovely lunch of leftovers. Yum.

I slept 4 hours. Still don't know how long they are staying.

ValiumQueen · 01/01/2014 13:38

I would hate not knowing PR. Dare you ask?

PurplePidjin · 01/01/2014 14:37

Done :)

I was about to take cot-nap-dodging baby for a walk, df insisted on taking him! Result :o

Still not used to typing df, and i keep pausing to look at my finger. Twat.

Sophiathemistletoefairy · 01/01/2014 15:11

That's lovely PP I still pause and look at my weeding ring. Smile
