I stop and stare at my wedding ring too

We're so on bad terms that if I ask it will be taken as a piss off. Haven't had a second to ask dh either. Can't have private converstions in this house. Even whispers can be heard through the sodding walls.

I have not worn my ring since before DD2 was born. I used to have slim fingers (K) so need it resized really.

That's a good idea vq I will ask him tomorrow when he is at work. I imagine they won't stay another weekend, and next week the girls will be back at nursery and spending the days alone with me will be the last thing they want to do :o

S is sitting on the floor putting all of her picnic food from her basket onto a little picnic blanket (leap frog thing she got for Christmas) and each time she puts an item on the blanket she claps herself, it's so cute.

I bought it for her birthday but forgot about it and found it a couple of weeks after, so wrapped it up for Christmas. Bonus.

P is currently eating beans on toast for tea while DH and aging pussy snooze on the sofa to the strains of Kung fu panda. That's what holidays are all about!

I want to be in bed by 8:30 tonight - getting too old for being up into the small hours.

I have so many anecdotes saved up. Other than bringing her own peeler she also brought her own coffee maker and mini food processor. We have a food processor. And a coffee machine. They bought us the coffee maker in fact. So not sure why they had to bring their own.

How's the vom doing all? Urgh.

V tiring day, my poor dps came down to see us -dh was in bed all morning, I am knackered and F has been a wee whingebag. Shehas had 5 pooy nappies (tmi) so am hoping it is just the change in diet rather than anything more grim.

PR whoop whoop! Can we have some more MIL stories then??

Isles I hope you're feeling better, sounds awful.

I thought about gt today, have we heard from her? Hope you areok and those 2 gorgeous boys are behaving x

Gah such cruelty from MIL pr.

Am just tucked up in bed with a hot drink, pjs on and newspaper. I might stay awake long enough to drink the drink, almost cert ainly, the paper wil stillbe here tomorrow. Luckily, bedroom doesnt seem to smell due to frantic cleaning efforts. It is however, baltic, as windows have been open all day Envy

Isles hope you're feeling better and trying to put a positive spin on it, at least this way you lost the 3 bottles of wine which would have given a munting great hangover!!!

Just had a lovely day round at DHs Auntie's where we open our secret santa and generally have a great fun family get together of the entire side of the family 20+ folks. Jonas had so much fun. I barely saw him - he was scuttling off with his cousins or always in one relly or another's arms.

Only slightly marred by FIL wanting to get home in a hurry for a TV programme (Envy ) which meant the bear had to wait the 40 minute drive home for his feed and was a bit shouty. Which in turn totally freaks out DHs's Dad who was shrieking "Can't you put a dummy in or something" whilst we're singing 'twinkle twinkle' like loons to try to calm him. J won't take a dummy - we tried - god when his reflux was hellish I'd have traded a limb to be able to do something as simple as stuff a bit of plastic in his mouth to shut him up! I managed to restrain myself to something along the lines of "When he was screaming 6-10 hours a day with reflux for two months solid do you not think we f*cking might have tried that - what do you want me to do sellotape one in?" Grin I mean we literally sang 'twinkle, twinkle' like 200 times maybe to keep him quiet, why on earth does he think we would prefer that high effort solution compared to just popping a dummy in, in seconds!

Omg I have never been so ill. I have slept most of the afternoon but can barely keep water down. Just so grateful my mum has m as we are both useless today. Luckily most of the wine came up pretty quickly so I know this isn't a hangover. Also p only had 1 beer as he was on call and he has this too Envy
