VQ Grin

choking was my main concern, and although she rarely chokes I wouldn't want to risk it.

We are all quite a bit better today. M eating, hoorah!

This house is my realistic one. Although it's very overpriced for the area and I would be offering at least 10k under if it was still on the market later in the year. And the kitchen would need to go asap Hmm .

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/12/2013 08:37

That is a super house isles

I wouldn't leave a cup in with O as he would probably have lots of fun tipping it upside down and soaking his bed! But for the older kids I send them with those tall beakers with lids on and flip top spouts to prevent spillage. Have never had a bother.

horseylady · 08/12/2013 08:37

Pretty house!!!! Once you're in you can make it your home.

Choking and leaking would be my main concerns too. Ds still asleep???!! Think he's most def still recovering.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/12/2013 08:43

I swear by my humidifier pikz I have this one: www.amazon.fr/gp/aw/d/B005M0ISFW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3/277-9407457-4461034?qid=1386489630&sr=1-3&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

You have to clean them regularly but I have it on a low setting when one or t'other girl is coughing or snotty, and I have noticed a difference when I forget.

PurplePidjin · 08/12/2013 08:48

I have glow in the dark valve ones from Sainsburys. They only leak if the valve comes loose. £1.30 a pop.

Pub was good. R didn't poo in the night, slept 6-6 then chuntered quietly till 7:30 Xmas Shock

Passmethecrisps · 08/12/2013 09:13

Morning.

Glad a good night was had by sophia, pp and yw

We had a TT non-spill sippy cup but it was almost impossible to get the lid back on and p couldn't get the water out.

Pizza vom sounds no fun for anyone. P only once vommed in public and that was in ikea. She was being cooed at my a mum and her three teen daughters. Mid coo she vommed all down my leg and a puddle on the floor. It looked like strawberry milkshake as she had eaten strawberries. Ick

I am desperate to move house so all the house chat is making me very Envy. Need DH to get a job first.

P now has enough hair to play with - very cute!

And last night's film was great. Django Unchained by Tarantino. Violent but also very funny. Highly recommended

YellowWellies · 08/12/2013 09:14

Jonas woke every hour for his Dad then gave up and slept til 5.30 before needing a feed. Which was good as it let the Wine. leave my milk! I have a wee hangover but nothing too brutal to say it's my first since February 2012 Smile

Isles that's a really nice, light, bright house. Great garden too. Fab!!!! Stick a nice IKEA kitchen in and it'd be perfect.

Pikz I LOVE your project. It looks amazing. Where did you get the photo mount from? (Or did you make that?)

Passmethecrisps · 08/12/2013 09:19

Oh! I wanted to ask that of pikz love this.

flouncymcflouncerson · 08/12/2013 09:39

isles that house is fab!

FlouncingIsles · 08/12/2013 09:51

I would be in a place to buy it by around July I reckon so FXd it's still on the market then and my super amazing staff mortgage deal is still running Hmm There's a few others too but this one's my fav. Excluding dream flat across the river..... Smile
Glad good nights were had by all who went out.

P is off work today but just as well as I am tutoring all day and everyone has wimped out of looking after M.

Pikz I loved your pic. I took a photo of M in her carseat every month for her first year and have had them all made into a calendar to go in my mum's xmas hamper.

Elizadoesdolittle · 08/12/2013 10:05

Yay, vom free night here, thanks pikz. Hope L improves today.

Glad everyone enjoyed their nights out with minimal hangovers.

Why aren't babies born with teeth. Would make life so much easier!

I've never put a cup in DD1 or E's cot. But DD1 has had a drink by the side of her bed for a while now. Not before she was 3 though I think. Only did it as she started asking for one.

Lily311 · 08/12/2013 10:10

I love that house isles, I so wish to have a garden. I will not move from here. Unless someone packs, unpacks and organize everything.

Ordered my Xmas tree, should arrive by Wednesday. Dreading putting it up though.

Does anyone else use a movement monitor still? Last night was the first night I did not switch it on, tell me pls it really is time to stop using it.

Also no to cups in cot, I'm too afraid of the risks.

ChasingDaisy · 08/12/2013 10:34

I want a garden too. But I'm refusing to move house for the foreseeable future. 13 house moves in 10 years has worn me out.

That house is fab Isles!

flouncymcflouncerson · 08/12/2013 10:42

I've just been all nostalgic and looked up my old flat online. I'll share on FB as it's indentifiably me iykwim. Weird!

PetiteRaleuse · 08/12/2013 10:56

Vomtastic day here. LO not keeping anything down. Everytime she coughs it all comes up. Didn't hear her coughing overnight though. Dunno if it's gastro or phlegm. We're seeing paed tomorrow so if it doesn't get any worse will sit tight for now. She's never been a puker but this morning's episodes were epic Exorcist style chuck ups. She's asleep now, not coughing. Poor baby.

flouncymcflouncerson · 08/12/2013 11:01

Oh no pr they sounds like a nightmare :( hope she gets better soon

PetiteRaleuse · 08/12/2013 11:12

Thanks

Jims · 08/12/2013 11:59

Any one seriously house hunting (or just viewing for fun) could consider downloading property bee add on for fire fox. Makes viewing rightmove a lot more enlightening as shows all the changes to the listings inc price etc. it's v helpful in showing you which estate agents are more 'open' with you...

www.property-bee.com

YellowWellies · 08/12/2013 12:39

Jims I love property bee it's an awesome tool for seeing how long someone has been on the market, price drops, if there have been previous sales which have fallen through. It really helps cut through the EA bullshit! Smile

Misslaughalot · 08/12/2013 13:02

Well we joined the quiche babies vom party last night. O had 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep in her cot before DP went into her as she was grumping and saw she'd been sick. Proper undigested lumps of her day's food. He cleaned her up and changed the cot bedding only for her to be sick over him just as he was putting her down again. So he called me in to help (was blissfully asleep!) and after another change we brought her in with us where she was sick for a 3rd time. No crying, just bringing up her food, which looked almost the same as when she ate it sorry TMI

She seems fine in herself today. Ate all her breakfast, but isn't interested in lunch so we're not pushing it.

Flouncy was it you whose terramundi pot went missing? Did you ever work out exactly what happened to it? I saw them for sale yesterday and thought of you!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/12/2013 13:53

I was thinking of flouncies terramu do pot too! I bought SIL a faux one to save up for next years spa trip!

PetiteRaleuse · 08/12/2013 14:00

Well we just took her out for some fresh air and when she came back ate a tiny bit of bread and a little sip of water and hasn't chucked it back up yet. Had another look at the house. Huge pine trees in the garden I reckon I'd have to say goodbye to my satellite dish and therefore free uktv and maybe just subscribe to international iplayer or something...

ChasingDaisy · 08/12/2013 14:28

I have my baby back. He smells different and has been dressed in uncomfortable, stupid clothes like a mini version of XP we had an argument too. I hate him so much. Worst thing is that he has him on Thursday night too as I'm at my Big Reunion concert, which happens to be 6 months to the day I left Smile O is asleep in my arms. I don't want to put him down.

Pikz · 08/12/2013 14:38

Pass and YW I got it in holland and painted it as it was a horrid colour. Not on the high street and eBay have similar. It was lovely just to look back.

LO coughing loads and pulling still. Refusing to eat apart from crispy snacks.

He has a new game of shape sorting. Posting my napkin rings in the wine rack.

flouncymcflouncerson · 08/12/2013 15:00

I thought I'd updated about the terramundi pot! Idiot DH denied touching it yet I never do as it's too heavy and I spend any money i have! We wrongly assumed it had to have been someone from a Facebook selling site that had been in the house as it was stupidly in full view but the twat found it!! He had hidden it from DD for some reason thinking she would somehow get a hold of it and drop it. Goodness knows why as she's 4 not 14! And only just 4! Thankfully we never accused anyone or anything but even so how embarrassing! There was £322 in it,
