evil sounds like you're doing brilliantly.

BP my friend has gone home now so fx things have stopped. I was wondering why she ended up at a hospital in your town when she lives somewhere between me and evil, both with v big hospitals . So I guess my Q was does your hosp have some specialist unit for these things or was it likely to be a bed availability thing?

Hope horsey's E is better soon.

I made a leek and bacon gratin thing for dinner tomorrow from random bits in the fridge and it smells quite nice. V early start though as at a course in Bham tomorrow. It's a faff but around 4 hours on the train gives me loads of reading/snoozing time!

BigPigLittlePig · 04/12/2013 21:37

Probably related to NICU beds zamboni.

Evil great to hear you're feeling more like your usual self again.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/12/2013 21:48

Ooo how weird I am doing a leek and bacon and potato thing tomoz. What are you going to have with it? Or will you eat it alone?

BigPigLittlePig · 04/12/2013 21:54

HELP ME OUT GUYS.

Christmas pressies for mid-teen girls, who have everything under the sun already. Me and dh struggle every year, and this year is no exception Confused

PurplePidjin · 04/12/2013 21:54

Yay evi Thanks

Sleepy owl, wakey owl or winking owl? Quick I'm nearly done!

PurplePidjin · 04/12/2013 21:58

BP nail varnish or make up. Teen girls can never have enough. Also wash-in-wash-out or spray bright hair colours.

Lily311 · 04/12/2013 22:03

iTunes or new look vouchers.

Lily311 · 04/12/2013 22:04

Winking pidj

Evilwater · 04/12/2013 22:06

I've not even started on Xmas shopping, eeeeeekkkkkkkkk

Evil

FlouncingIsles · 04/12/2013 22:11

I have all of M's presents. Nothing else. All other Christmas shopping will be done after I get paid on the 20th Hmm. I currently have £3 in my account... Hmm Hmm

flouncymcflouncerson · 04/12/2013 22:19

Most of the kitchen is done. It needs some electric work done tomorrow and the plumber too. Can't get a painter until 18th dec so pics would be silly until then I think.

yw I'll see what we come up with when we sort the clothes. Most were hardly worn as he fattened up like a prize turkey! Is there anything in particular you need or want? Posting a large bundle may be an issue as I fear I may go overboard and fling anything that'd fit your j at you!

Also pass and isles I have everything DD ever wore too near enough so if you'd like any girly things then by all means let me know what size and what you'd be after! I'd rather things go to someone I know as opposed to randomly dumping them at a charity. I'm only saying to haggisy people to save on postage costs as I figure we could do some sort of meet up?

evil good to see you're settling well

bp I understand your Xmas thing and don't see why your MIl can't understand that. I'm probably glad I'm off sick as I'd do a 16.5hr night shift if I was working Xmas. All our on calls are that long unfortunately. We work 4.30pm til 9am the next day. Great fun!

YellowWellies · 04/12/2013 22:24

Hmmmm jumpers, vests and babygrows are always useful oh and jeans if there are any? But equally he's not short of anything yet so don't go mad Smile xx

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/12/2013 22:25

pidj an awake owl

I have all my xmas shopping bar my mum. Started the mammouth task that is wrapping them all last night. I was very surprised not to hear that DH has yet to get me anything and asked me what I wanted! I am the only person he has to by for. I've asked for a fancy food processor. Oh the joy Hmm

chasing hope your london trip went well today.

Um....minds gone blank. I've eaten 2 mince pies tonight Xmas Shock

FlouncingIsles · 04/12/2013 22:33

Oh flouncy that is so kind, I would love to take you up on that offer.

I basically have no days off between now and end of Feb (but lots of atudying and exams, yay Wink ) but would love a weekend haggis quiche mwet if anyone was up for that?

ChasingDaisy · 04/12/2013 22:35

Exhaustedly checking in after a completely wonderful day in London Smile O had a brilliant time and was an absolute superstar. We got home an hour ago but he fell asleep in his pram at the normal bedtime and is now in his cot.

Will catch up and post properly tomorrow. Off to sleep for me. Night quiche xx

ChasingDaisy · 04/12/2013 22:39

Just seen Evil's posts. Well done you, you are doing fabulously! If you need any advice about the key meter or having it replaced for a standard meter etc then let me know as that is my area of expertise Smile

flouncymcflouncerson · 04/12/2013 22:41

Cool yw I shall see what I find when I got through it. Also isles glad you'd make use of some bits and pieces too. Anything M needs in particular and her size etc?

I'd love a meet but I'm kinda restricted and wouldn't be able to bring j as I can't care for him just now with the whole no lifting heavier than 1kg. I also can't drive for another 3/5 weeks depending on my what insurance says. Apparently some ok after 6 weeks and some after 8.

Lily311 · 05/12/2013 03:12

Insomnia kicked in once again.

I think I caught up now but can't remember anything. Our new place needs a lot of work decoration and furniture wise but I simply don't have the money to do it all. It's a 4 year old building so it can wait easily. I am way behind of everything, need to study, need to unpack, I find it's impossible with O.

O is going through the screaming and not calming down stage, she gets so wind up. I hope it won't last. She is cruising everywhere but no intention to walk by herself.

I made a photobook yesterday, I had one of those credits to make one on photobox and I can't wait to see it. I made one of Leo previously and this one was from pregnancy till 1st birthday. Managed to put over 300 pictures in it, I find that I don't look at pictures if they are not in an album.

I will put this on Facebook as well but can we say if we received our ss? Mine went out already and don't want to worry about it, just want to know it arrived.

Also pls tell me which car seat did you go for? I need a second one and will try to grab a Xmas sale bargain. My sister in law wanted to buy a £10 second hand car seat for O in her car but I told her firmly no and that I get a seat for her if she insists on having one in her car. They still have the narnia car seat in their cars for my 2,5 year old nephew, it was withdrawn last year.

My Xmas shopping is done courtesy of Amazon delivering to Hungary. I will pick something up for my parents in ikea on fri.

Court case today, pls send me good vibes at 12.15 uk time. I need the judge to put that bloody stamp on the paperwork and allow me to get the birth certificate for O.

And evil I am so so proud of you. The house looks great!
flouncy I hope the recovery is going well! thinking of you.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 05/12/2013 06:38

bp the NOW whatever number it is we are on now cd. What did you want? I think I probably wanted clothes actually or clothes shop vouchers. A hollister top might go down well. Or a light feminine "first perfume" like Anais Anais.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 08:13

Bonjour la quiche!

Pikz · 05/12/2013 08:14

Bonjour. Ca va?

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 08:34
