Morning all. Yes luis there have been some name changes. Zamboni's mum is a gazelle and FlouncingIsles became a MissedMummy until she came back and nc. Then someone who likes to get busy went away then came back as flouncymcfouncerson.

Happy birthday to the piglet and GT. Cake

PetiteRaleuse · 24/11/2013 08:28

I also dislike lying. My DH is given to exaggerate/bend the truth but doesn't lie to me. So if I ask him how much he's spent at the butchers' and he says 100€ I know it's probably closer to €150. On nights I take a sleeper the morning after he will either say LO slept through, OK, or that he was up every hour with her, which means once or maybe twice during the night. It winds me up but isn't done with malicious intent, just a family trait.

My most recent ex was a real liar. Couldn't stop and you couldn't tell. He really believed what he was saying was the truth. With hindsight I still suddenly remember things he said and realise he was a lying git. I hope karma will kick his sorry arse one day.

fruitpastilles · 24/11/2013 08:30

Morning! Happy birthday to pigs F and to you too gt

stunt sorry you had such a shit night BrewBrew and you luis nice to hear J is doing so well though, and L Smile

What are everyone's plans for today? I think I will have a lazy one today and stop in. Dp will be off to the hospital to see his brother, so me and S will just have a pj day I think.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/11/2013 08:49

DH is workin this morning but this afternoon we're going to go to the Christmas market in Metz. There's some kind of fire based entertainment toobut as am under curfew won't be able to see all of that.

YellowWellies · 24/11/2013 08:57

Well he was up every 1-2 hours until 3am then slept through til nearly 9am. So we all got one 6 hour chunk. WTAF was that about? Teeth or cake? Confused

Charlee am v glad offloading here helped.

Luis what-oh sir!!! Lovely to see you!

VQ boo to the bad night but wow that he is eating dumplings and stuff. Yey omeprazole. I'm gonna buy shares in that shit Grin

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 08:58

Happy birthday F and GT Smile

QQ. O has a cold and is due to have his jabs on Weds. If he's still poorly will I need to postpone?

YellowWellies · 24/11/2013 08:58

PR am v envious of the Christmas market. I'm taking J to the Edinburgh one in Princes St Gardens next Friday with my stepmum. I love Christmas markets!

PurplePidjin · 24/11/2013 09:02

Happy birthday F and GT Cake

PetiteRaleuse · 24/11/2013 09:19

Not a fan myself but I hate crowds but the girls will enjoy the lights and atmosphere. Metz is one of the biggest ones around it's quite pretty.

Zamboni · 24/11/2013 09:19

Happy Birthday F and GT!

Peace and harmony is restored. He apologised for splitting hairs and told me he knows that being strictly truthful is important and what he should have done. I do trust him but maddening little fibs give me the actual RAGE. If that wasn't clear from my prior post. He 'a also doing general penance by taking the DC to DPIL for the morning.

Glad the fart argument was so entertaining Grin

Xmas markets - lovely. We usually have a good international one on the cathedral's surrounds which is vair nice. Looking forward to some of that soon!

Misslaughalot · 24/11/2013 09:35

Happy birthday GT and F

Chasing I agree that we'd all feel totally shit if we were told that we weren't attractive, especially if you like the person telling you that. It really is his loss. You'll just have to date a few more frogs to find your prince. Next!

We went to the Birmingham Christmas market on Friday, lovely. Bought O a wooden xylophone (are all xylophone's wooden?) for her birthday and some chocolate marshmallows for me Grin

Today DP and I have a lunchtime date while O goes to MILs. We're off to see Gravity (love a bit of gorgeous George) and then a spot of lunch.

Back to the world of work tomorrow. Not sure if my brain is up to it...

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 11:38

I'm looking forward to taking O to the Christmas markets in London next week.

fruitpastilles · 24/11/2013 11:45

chasing I'm glad you said about the jabs being Wednesday, I had it into head it was Tuesday! I don't know about the cold, I think if it's just minor you could still take him, or call in the morning and see what they say is probably the best bet.

miss I'm going to the Birmingham market on Friday, I'm looking forward to a German sausage ? and a waffle mmmmm

fruitpastilles · 24/11/2013 12:15

Into head = in my head

FlouncingIsles · 24/11/2013 12:55

Oooh I am going to have a mooch around the edinburgh market on thursday before I get my hair done. M was 10 days old when we went last year Shock

Happy birthday gt and F

M ended up in with me last night. It was soo bloody cold we blagged body heat off each other. Confused Boiler can't be fixed until Monday at earliest as they can't source the part. And if that isn't the broken bit they are guessing the whole thing needs replaced. And they think there is a leak under the floorboards somewhere... Fuck.

MsJupiterJones · 24/11/2013 13:22

Chasing we didn't see much of MK as we just went to the In Car Safety Centre (we are so rock and roll). Wanted an ERF car seat and had sold some stuff on eBay so we could afford it! They were brilliant, highly recommended. We did see some cows but I don't know if they were concrete. I thought of you while we were there. Oh btw I think jags are only postponed if he has a fever.

Eliza L never had much either, I didn't realise there was anything still there till a while ago when it began flaking off and now it looks a bit patchy. I haven't done anything either up till now.

I would like to take L to the Christmas markets in London this year, he is kind of noticing all the lights and sparkles and loves the music, I saw some brand new expressions on his face when he heard the children's choir yesterday, heart-melting!

L has a cold and woke himself up coughing many times last night so I have much sympathy for other non- sleepers. Then he was awake from 4am-5.30 and couldn't settle. I was knackered. But eventually DH got him back down and then we all slept till.... Ten past NINE! Bloody hell! Completely unheard of.

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 13:38

The concrete cows have taken up residence in the shopping centre so chances are those were real cows that you saw Smile

O burrowed into me for cuddles when he came home just now. Poor love is poorly. He has had two colds and a sickness bug this past month and my mummy instinct is telling me that he isn't strong enough for jabs this week. The NHS guidance seems to say that they should be given between 12-13 months which gives us until 28th Dec. Will call the surgery tomorrow and ask for them to be pushed back a few weeks. I hope they let me do that without too much trouble but I genuinely don't feel he is well enough right now.

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 13:43

Does that sound reasonable/sensible?

Wibble.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/11/2013 13:45

You know best chasing :)

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 14:13

Anyone around? I gave O 2.5mls of Calpol at 13:15 but have just found out that XP have him 5mls at 09:50. So technically an overdose? Do I need to worry?

PetiteRaleuse · 24/11/2013 14:24

I wouldn't worry. Ensure he gets a decent feed and no more calpol til 8 hrs after last dose imo

ChasingDaisy · 24/11/2013 14:30

Thank you. 111 did some calculations and said he should be fine.

Pikz · 24/11/2013 16:35

Happy birthday GT and little pig!

Luuuuuuuiiiisssss Grin

Think we have croup here... To go on top of the broncholitis... Amazeballs

Sophiathesnowfairy · 24/11/2013 17:22

chasing me and DH did that the other week O was fine. I was going to ask if you were still going to London next weekend. Hopefully a nice time will superseded yesterday.

We have had a lovely weekend. DS1 has suggested that Father
Christmas might bring him a bike for Christmas. So yesterday we went to the local bike shop to " see which one we like so we can ask Father Christmas for the right one" buy a bike we came home and wrote a letter to FC then this evening we have out it in the fire to go up the chimney to him. WhAt Christmas traditions do you have? We are only just starting to create them.

I went to bed at 8:3o last night, was asleep by 9 then didn't wake up till 9 ts morning. DH got boys up and took them out for breakfast. Was amazing Grin

Today is our family Sunday. Church then I put the Sunday lunch in, and while it roasted away we went for a muddy tramp around the fields round the house. We are planting it all up with trees to eventually use for fuel and I needed an overview as the forester is coming on
Tuesday.
Sunday dinner, holiday pudding, amazeballs I will post the recipe. All perfect.
