Wah just heard a rumour that the proposal I'm in on which would sort out my freelancing for 6-9 months might be sole sourced..... wah come on pleeeeeeeaaaase that would make life so much easier if it's a shoe in Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 14/11/2013 19:47

I remember separate radio and tv times. I remember when newspaper weekend editions started to do proper weekly listings and the rt was replaced in our house by the Fail's weekend thing which was pretty good I have to admit but the newsprint rubbed off while circling and I missed theglossiness of the magazines

My dog gets a bowl of proper dog biscuits in the morning and gets leftovers the rest of the time. Or raw meat and bones that the butcher gives me for free.

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 19:47

Fingers and toes crossed yw

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 19:49

Mum and dad also moved over to the fail for the telly book. I remember taking it to my room and reading the etiquette section written by drucilla brayfiss (sp?) thinking that she was my ticket out of there!

PetiteRaleuse · 14/11/2013 19:51

Ha ha ha pass did it work? Wasn't that in You magazine?

PetiteRaleuse · 14/11/2013 19:53

Steak chips and champers tonight here. DH is off tomorrow and the kids will be at nursery. Yay. Us time. We have loads of non sexual chores though :(

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 19:55

Oh - that'll have been it! Well, I'm not still there so I figure she worked her magic! I used to take it along with the news of the world women's mag supplement which had sex tips for men written by a lesbian. I also used to log all this away for future use.

Seriously though, I remember her advice was always about I true good etiquette being about making people feel as comfortable as possible. Making people feel bad because they don't know what you expect of them is bad etiquette. I took that very much to heart

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 19:57

Fuck non-sex chores! Get thee to the boudoir! with a copy of the news of the world mag if you fancy

I have Friday night vibe tonight because I have my blood pressure appointment tomorrow morning which means a long lie and a relaxed start for us all!! Woot!

MsJupiterJones · 14/11/2013 20:01

Haha I come here to escape the stresses and strains of work and you are all discussing Christmas films which has been my headache all day! I know it sounds fun but it's hard putting together a Christmas programme for a cinema when all the usual films are on telly. We wanted Snowdog but it's not available to screen at the mo.

I also love Santa Claus the Movie but tbh I wouldn't pay to see it at the cinema when it's bound to be on tv so I can't expect anyone else to.

FlouncingIsles · 14/11/2013 20:09

Pass if you mean have I blocked her number and spent the last 7 months avoiding any possible chance of blocking into her ANYWHERE including driving out of a tesco carpark and going elsewhere on seeing her car Blush , then yes. I am a wimp and hate confrontation. And she is an utterly vile psycho. Note to self: don't feel sorry for weirdos with a sob story. Confused

FlouncingIsles · 14/11/2013 20:10

*bumping

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 20:19

Hello,
OMG I get keys on Tuesday!!! Party at my house!!!!!! Grin
But seriously, I went to the drs and she said I'm being emotionally abused. :( However she couldn't do the lawyer form as there is no evidence! :( I'm going to have to move stuff over bit by bit as p is becoming more and more unpredictable.

Last night, was awful. Long story short, he wanted sex, and I wanted sleep. Tonight he's had a curry, and gone to bed early (which is why I can post now) on account of a headache and not feeling well.

I can almost taste my freedom..

Sorry it's all been me and me. My family have worried themselves, and are still in shock. I just want to thank you all.

Officially winter now - I have programmed our boiler for regular heat.

Pass I love the random moments of recall, I sometimes have them, often at weird times of the night, and wonder, oh what happened with such and such, but of course by the morning I've forgotten. Hope P settles soon for you, sounds like a total 'mare.

PR enjoy your chores...perhaps sneak a few non-chore "chores" Wink

Another RT fan here, mum and dad used to get it delivered with the paper - they did the circling for their programmes, so I used to write down my stuff in a notepad Grin

I bought F a pillow today lol, inspired by all the pillow/duvet chat. SHe has basically spent the past 2 months sleeping in my bed for 50% of the night or more, on a pillow, so shall try to make her cot nice and comfy. She is all snuzzled down into it for now - vair cute.

GT and pidj . It must be tough to have no escape from the littleys. With FT work, I love spending time with F, but make no bones about the fact I would be tearing my hair out if I didn't have work. Especially currently, as she basically needs to be touching me at all times Hmm.

Todays tricks - launching herself face first at my torso with arms spread wide in response to me saying "cuddles". Love love love her. And saying mamamamama instead of just dadadadada.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/11/2013 20:23

Cross post evil - hugs. If you want a hand, I am off work Thursday next week so can pop down with or without small person in tow xx

YellowWellies · 14/11/2013 20:24

OMG who recommended the book 'Gone Girl'? I'm nearly finished it and gutted that I'm near the end. Such a good read!!!!!

Evil amazing news.

Jupiter as a cinema goer you don't think of the stress of organising the listings! Shock

YellowWellies · 14/11/2013 20:26

BP I say "cuddles" and he throws himself onto me like some midget Mexican wrestler - usually winding me. It's v funny though Grin

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 20:29

It will be nice to see you, big but I'm busy all day. :( thanks for the offer.

As for movies, I always have the hog father on.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/11/2013 20:32

No worries evil - give me a shout if you need anything. I really really hope it all goes well for you xx

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 20:34

Me too, big.
Evil

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 20:41

You are so close evil!! Nearly there!

P does cuddles but not on command. She ignores a lot of stuff verbally. I genuinely was worried she might have a hearing impairment the other day until I remembered that she dances to music. She is just a madam!

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 20:42

I have fancied 'Gone Girl' for a good while. Might give it a whirl after I finish my current one. So that'll be June then

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 20:53

pass p is getting more and more unpredictable, he pretty much swings from normal! to crazy several times a day. Oh, Tuesday!!

I think I have to phone the domestic abuse line, tomorrow. They might have help they can give me. I'm nervous, just incase p finds out! or it all falls down.

TheDetective · 14/11/2013 20:55

Pass P and O are of the same ilk. I nod to everything you say! It's all about the moving and climbing! He's not interested in communicating really! He had no need to! He just does whatever the hell it is he wants himself! Grin

I think we are getting the word dog. Possibly all gone. I'm not sure. They could be? Maybe I'm clutching at straws! Grin

He won't do anything you ask. He seems to have no understanding. I think he does. I just think he isn't interested in following instructions like his mother.

Situation with DS1 ongoing! He's got his first report. No problems. They are keeping an eye on behaviour and will let me know of any ishoos. I saw the head of year tonight who was possibly younger than me!! and I spoke to her at the time of the issue. She seems nice, and reassured me that any behaviour in school is just down to boys being silly and nothing serious. And that he is well behaved 99% of the time.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/11/2013 20:55

What are your actual escape plans evil? Carrier bags and run in a day? Are your family helping? I'm so worried for you and N, I will breath a huge sigh of relief once I know you're safe in your new pad with the door locked and your feet up.

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 21:04

I get the keys and gradually move my stuff over bit by bit, the stuff in the cupboards. I can do this each day, and fill my car up. I will also get up the gas, water and spark stuff up to. Then when he goes out for a day, my friends will come and help me move the big stuff out.
Nick will be of courses safe, which is the most important thing.
