Sounds perfect. Keeping everything crossed, and will put some Wine on standby for when it's all done.

ChasingDaisy · 14/11/2013 21:06

I'm not sure how much understanding O has. I'm pretty sure there is some there and I am enjoying seeing all the pieces start to fit together for him.

Evil does P know you are leaving? Is your new place close by? Will he know where you are? I will feel so relieved when you and N are safely out of there.

Isles that sounds so adorable.

So, Just Friends Guy cam round this evening. He usually comes round when O is in bed but he surprised me by coming round early today so that he could spend some time with O Smile Well, O LOVES him! He was giggling and everything. Even though it was past his bedtime and he was overtired. I melted of course.

I am also in the process of arranging a date with London guy. In London. Keeping my options open Wink Dating is fun.

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:07

Good to know det!

P will respond depending on the tone of voice you use. If it sounds like she is about to be told to stop doing something - selective deafness. If it sounds like you have something nice for her - straight over like a rocket.

And she has taken a liking to the most hideous toy I have ever seen. It is a robotic penguin. She loves it times a million when it is silent and non-flashy. The problem being it has no off switch and the on switch is it's tummy. So I had to rescue her 3 times this morning as she carried it around chatting to it until it suddenly animated. She would stand there trembling and whimpering not quite sure what to do with terminator penguin.

DH has castrated said penguin now.

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:08

Go for it chasing! Sounds fab!

Good plan evil! We shall hang the quiche "Left The Bastard" bunting when you lock that door behind you

Evilwater · 14/11/2013 21:10

chasing it's sorta near by! but it's tucked away. No he doesn't know. I've not told him, and I won't tell him.

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:20

ChasingDaisy · 14/11/2013 21:23

Yes please pass!

ValiumQueen · 14/11/2013 21:26

McFlounce is high as a kite on opiates I think.

So much to say, but need sleep more so I will do bullet points. Except I do not know how to do a bullet sign. Fuck it. A list then.

J is a burden at nursery as he needs 1:1 and they cannot give him 1:1. He is a baby FFS!!! I will talk to the manager and move him if necessary.

Work continues much the same. Boss a bitch, me fucking awesome and keep showing her up. Oops.

DD2 vommed everywhere. Again. DH was tired so I said go up when the girls do so you can listed out for vomit. I smelled it when I took J up to bed. Poor thing up to her ears in it. DH snoring.

I bought a new bra and new pjs so not all bad.

Night night peeps x

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:26

On it

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:32

A fucking burden? A burden? What baby does not need one to one?

Enjoy your sleep vq

BigPigLittlePig · 14/11/2013 21:37
Angry
YellowWellies · 14/11/2013 21:40

VQ Shock what an awful thing for nursery to say!!! That's shocking! Sad

ValiumQueen · 14/11/2013 21:43

They did not actually use the word burden, but have made it more than clear on several occasions that he needs more attention than they can give him. They do have other babies to care for too you know. Today he was having tantrums apparently as he wanted to be picked up or cuddled and they were busy. No tears apparently so it was a tantrum.

When I got him home I sat him down and said J, you are 12 months old now and you need to start acting your age. I jest obviously, but really it is not a laughing matter.

Likely going to be up with DD2 tonight. It is strange as the night before last she vommed but has been fine in between times. She was like this a few weeks back. Her arse smells like something has crawled up it and died.

Pikz · 14/11/2013 21:44

VQ wtf!!!!!

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 21:45
ValiumQueen · 14/11/2013 21:51

Pass that is a blank post on my phone. Stuff in arrows disappears (nosy)

ChasingDaisy · 14/11/2013 22:02

This quiche rocks. Huge amounts. I love you all.

Goodnight lovely quiche x x

Passmethecrisps · 14/11/2013 22:03

Really?!?

I said I was considering a drive by quichesalt on the nursery.

I am not sure what that means other than a fairly harmless throwing of egg based baked goods at heartless nursery workers

FlouncingIsles · 14/11/2013 22:16

VQgo to bed! (I am appauled they even implied that..)

I am going to write a book about living here for the next 12 weeks before I leave. It will be a bestseller because, really, you couldnt make half of this shit up. Hmm

evil I am both in awe and incredibly jealous of your bravery. Very best of luck xx

PetiteRaleuse · 14/11/2013 22:17

Drive by Quichesalt. Mwahhahaha! We can prank call the nursery once you've removed him. Joke. Seriously, LO was one on one for seven weeks and here the staff:baby ratios are much higher ie 1:6 babies iirc for up to 18 mo; 1:8 after that. He's not a burden they are lazy/incompetent. Yes, complain. Ffs. And babies don't have proper tantrums. I can get them leaving him for 5 minutes while they distract another kid. Tantrums come with communication problems ie when they are part verbal. At this age they might get frustrated and scream but it lasts until they are distracted or they need a hug. It's not rocket science and is usually a lit easier for other people than parents. No tears? DD1 tantrums with full waterworks when I give her green beans.

Go to bed, sleep, and we'll help you think up an action plan in the morning Flowers

Evil the quiche love is right behind you. More Flowers please shout if you need anything.

Kyz · 14/11/2013 22:17

vq that is not on :( he is only a baby and a poorly one at that, poor mite!

pass yeeeah to penguin pics

PetiteRaleuse · 14/11/2013 22:18
