As I so frivolously finished the last thread, I thought I'd better start a new one. Go!

Actually, just looked again and if he's sleeping 11 hours that's good isn't it?! So he sleeps 830-730? Maybe need to wake by 7am so get sleep time back to 8pm?

If anyone has a 12 hour sleeping baby I'm not listening Grin

Happy birthday Felix too.

glorious · 19/01/2014 10:20

happy good to hear from you. I'm so sorry about your MMC, that must be horrible. I'll be thinking of you over the next couple of weeks.

lora I will not offer any advice on the sleep, I'm obviously not qualified.

Happy birthday Felix!

Awful, awful night of constant feeding. We coslept in the end as I wasn't capable of sitting up any more. We haven't done that for weeks as I'm sick of it. I really hope it's a growth spurt or teeth or something and will get better. DH took her at 730 thank goodness so I slept until 915 and they're out for a walk now.

Birdies · 19/01/2014 12:15

Cake to glorious that's awful for you. Hope you have a better night tonight.

BuntyCollocks · 19/01/2014 13:09

Happy birthday, babies, and well done to all the movers and shakers!

happy so sorry to hear about your mmc :( I hope that it's magically good news when you go for your rescan, but huge hugs from this corner.

Thanks for all advice on the boob. It's not getting better, so going to go to docs on Monday.

Tugstonia · 19/01/2014 14:02

Happy birthday to Molly, Nancy, Felix and Bailey!

Good to hear from you happy though so sorry about your MMC :(

Not been on in a while so just catching up... Glorious and Pascha I'm a SE Londoner and would love a Bluewater catch up but can't make any of the dates you suggested. Will defo join you next time though (inviting myself!).

Sympathy to all the non-sleepers. There must be something in the air. DD has been a little bugger the last few nights, just not settling, up every couple of hours and even in our bed lying there moaning and poking me in the eyes. Feeling pretty shit today and guilty for being such a mardy cow with DD and DP. I think I have PMT as well. DP has taken her out to a birthday party while I stay at home and throw things clean.

Pascha · 19/01/2014 15:37

Definitely Tugs Maybe around Easter time?

Daniel has been getting very clingy with DH. He has taken to bursting into tears when he leaves the room and last night at 11pm when we were dosing him with ibuprofen for teeth he only settled for him - just screamed on me. (I'm not complaining, means I get to go back to bed and leave them to it).

lollipoppi · 19/01/2014 15:37

Lostbobbles · 19/01/2014 16:05

Happy belated birthday Molly and Nancy

Happy Birthday Felix

Happy nice to hear from you but so sorry about mmc xThanks

Went out for girls night meal last night and cheeky drink after. Then at 11.30 discovered phone missing, horrible sinking gut feeling, tried to go back to restaurant but it was shut and it wasn't in the bar. Then my friend got a message from the restaurant to say it was there GrinGrinGrin so relieved.

Pascha I have L in the kiddy now, she's not a great fan of the shield but getting used to it.

Anyone else noticed a growth spurt going on, L is eating me out of house and home!

Also have some 'actual' toy playing going on now, she's really into shape sorters and has mastered putting the coins in the money bank pig toy we have. Also loves the 'B whacky ball' toy she got for her birthday. She can't use the hammer but just pushes the balls down Grin

Baby is defo now a toddler little bit sad but love seeing her character developing. albeit that she is going to be trouble

glorious · 19/01/2014 17:55

Oh yes tugs please join us another time. Sorry you can't make it but I don't want to delay seeing if I can help pascha back carry as it's so useful! I think you and I are actually closer together so I'm happy to meet you in London too in the meantime? e.g. I reckon Forest Hill would be easy for both of us if I've remembered where you live correctly... We could moan about sleep.

Important question: how do you do that crossing out thing?

LetThereBeCupcakes · 19/01/2014 18:57

glorious if you scroll down it explains how to do strikeouts under message hints.

Yes lost massive growth spurt here. DS suddenly looks really tall. Wearing pyjamas rather than onesies now which makes him look really grown up Sad. Also got some real toy playing going on. He's been car obsessed for a while now, and he's just worked out how to press buttons on toys. I'm beginning to regret buying him toot toot cars for Christmas. And wondering what made me think it was a good idea to buy him more for his birthday. Hmm

AppleCrumples · 19/01/2014 19:09

Happy birthday to all the bubbas!

lost we have actual playing too she likes the nesring cups and puts everything into any containers! Am also feeling a bit sad i definitely have a toddler and the baby days are behind me :(

lolli i usef to have that buggy for dd1 amd hated it and its stupid useless breaks, our bargain of the week was a ex display plasma tv for £20 from tesco. dp very pleased with himself :)

Think.Ivy must be having a growth spurt as she suddenly never seems satisfied with her food andkeeps stealing from everyone else.

happy good to hear from you, sorry to hear about mmc though. Flowers

Ivy seems ok in with dd1 except we are now up.for the day by 6.30 but a least we probably won't be late for school :)

Sorry to anyone i missed have got a bit behine this thread at the mo x

AppleCrumples · 19/01/2014 19:11

ooh cupcakes we have those. when they start annoying me i turn them off and ahe just brumms the cars about :)

LetThereBeCupcakes · 19/01/2014 19:41

Apple my friend's little boy is 2 weeks older than my DS and has worked out how to turn them on and off! I dread that day.

I am wrapping up DS' birthday presents Grin

AppleCrumples · 19/01/2014 19:46

oh dear god Shock really hope Ivy doesn't work that out

remembers older dc...aahhh shit!

mrsbug · 19/01/2014 19:47

Lolli I can't click your link but is that buggy bright green? If so we bought it earlier, it was on a deals forum dp lurks on. He reckons it might be a misprice and they might not honour it. If we get it and it's rubbish then it can live at my parents to save me trying to squeeze my massive buggy in the car when we visit

glorious · 19/01/2014 20:07

Don't think I can justify a third pushchair much as I'd like to

Did it work? !

Angielka · 19/01/2014 20:21

Hello all! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Molly for one had a brilliant day - happy birthday to the others!! Molly has used this weekend to properly get to grips with this walking thing. She is SO pleased with herself when she moves forward, and takes about six steps, a huge grin spreads across her face then she lands flump on her bum and starts crying with frustration. Birthday cake soon sorts her out though Grin

The best present was something from Poland - you put blocks in the giraffe's mouth, which sets off some music, then you open a trap door at the bottom and they come out. She must have played with that for hours.

So sorry about the MMC happy and the lack of sleep sounds dire glorious Sad but we are back to waking at least twice a night and I DON'T GET IT because Molly's big sister gave us an easy ride.

Jealous of south east meet up since I am a London girl really. Maybe when I'm back sometime.

Good luck to everyone for the coming week.

OP posts:
lollipoppi · 19/01/2014 22:46

Yes it's the bright green one, I've not ordered it as we have 3 pushchairs and DP would go loopy if I added another to the collection!

Sorry to hear about the MMC happy Thanks
And Brew for all the lack of sleep

I'm jealous of the meet up too, I don't think anyone is near me

We took DD and ds1 swimming this morning and they both slept for 3 hours this afternoon! Might make it a regular hobby! thank fook as ds1 was up at 4.30am

Happy birthday to the babies!

BuntyCollocks · 19/01/2014 22:48

I'm in chester/north wales if anyone is close

glorious · 19/01/2014 22:53

Oh hell. DD settled herself happily at 730. Then did a poo so I had to change her. She resettled at 815. She woke at 930, wouldn't settle after a feed so I gave her ibuprofen - small success here as she just spits out paracetamol. She's had two teeth emerge today so thought it might help. I've now fed her for over an hour and put her down very drowsy, thought she had dropped off but she is now screaming again Sad

I'll be too wound up to sleep for ages if she ever will settle.

glorious · 19/01/2014 22:55

Well so far on my grand meet up list I have

Leeds
North West
Leicester
Chester/north Wales
Kent
London times 2

We're quite well spread out!

Lora1982 · 19/01/2014 23:02

that pushchairs been all over my facebook today im surprised theres still any left! im tempted though.

im refusing to let him grow out of baby gros we have a few pjs but he'll be a proper grown up in them Sad

hes had a cough for ages... a week, the colds cleared up but his cough is awful esp at night bless him should I take him drs do you think? I dont want to be laughed at over a cold

happyhow · 19/01/2014 23:17

Thanks everyone. I think I just needed to vent in my crazy sleep deprived mood this morning. Lack of sleep makes your brain think crazy things! Checked my dates tonight as hadn't actually done that since the appointment and reckon I could be 2 weeks behind what the midwife thought (why so they automatically assume a 28 day cycle even though you tell you them you've never had a 28 day cycle in your life?!). I never agreed with their dates but thought it would get cleared up at the scan... Still doesn't tally up though but guess I'm just holding on to any shred of hope no matter how remote it may be...

B has been amazing today despite being stuck in the house with the pissing rain! He managed to amuse himself for over an hour in his ball pit while I tried to nap and a hungover husband chilled on the sofa.

We've just got the one pushchair but it takes up just about the entire boot now that B is out of the infant car seat so can't just put that on the wheels... So annoying!

Can't get to bloody sleep again tonight despite being knackered! Can't blame Bailey for my lack of sleep either.

I'm in Aberdeen. Oh well.

BuntyCollocks · 19/01/2014 23:56

Ah, happy, the waiting must be the worst bit :(

If I was home I wouldn't be too far from you - am originally central belt.

lollipoppi · 20/01/2014 08:38

Hmm Happy, when's your scan?

Glorious hope she settled for you?

We're off for injections this morning, DD, DS1 and me ....... Should be interesting Confused
