chasing I do my fil books. For free. I know how much he earns and how much we earn. Yet he can't afford to take a pay in salary and believes going on holiday every two three weeks is unfair. Selfish man!!!

Thanks for the welcome backs!! Ds is lovely!! So active! He just doesn't stop!! Will post more soon

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/09/2013 19:50

lily I had a rash the day after I started taking antidiotics. It was gone after 24hrs. Mine was all over though.

I've only briefly skim read looking for news of gt baby. I'll catch up properly later. In the meantime gt I hope you got some rest x

GTbaby · 26/09/2013 20:00

Mw just spoken to me about bf issues. She is very understanding Smile

Kirrin · 26/09/2013 20:37

Blimey - it's like a renunion around here :) first horsey and now cat and luis. Lovely to see you all :)

I just popped in for a baby update - Hope you're ok GT and that things are progressing? glad the MW is understanding.

I bought a new bike seat for DD1 so I plan to try that out over the weekend. I neeeeed to do some exercise and stop guzzling pizza and coke

I have a good day but a pissed off sort of an evening so I'm going to call it quits and go to bed Blush

StuntNun · 26/09/2013 20:39

J has just gone to sleep by himself in his cot with no crying. Shock Grin Shock Grin Shock Grin

This sleep training is the shiz! Yes it's tough to implement but we have seen steady progress over the last couple of weeks. Tonight he was content to be in his cot for his story and when I kissed him goodnight and turned out the light he rearranged himself about in the cot until he was comfy and went straight to sleep.

This represents, shall we say, significant improvement.

kirrin how's your horse? Xx

Kyz · 26/09/2013 21:03

Evening all - not got forever to post so forgive me for missing some alot of things, I'm skimming as best as I can

sorry mm cross posted with you yesterday morning - It's a brill buggy, my footmuff thingy arrived for it this morning, looks soooo snug and comfy!!

Thanks for the advice on vitamin drops stunt i'll get some then. I haven't yet as they said I didn't need to unless he has less than 17oz of formula, but this past week especially he has had less than that, and he isn't really eating anything either :( I know that's common when they're ill but i'd feel better with drops as a backup I think. Also, I think that was really sweet of you, what did your dh think of such a lovely gesture? :) Hope he appreciated it!

Speaking of colds and ill - when they eat solids and don't really drink milk much, do you give more milk if they won't eat solids when ill? And if they won't drink the milk, what then? Is it just a case of a poor appetite because of feeling so rubbish? E has been poorly/teething/god knows for 3 days now and is really struggling with food and sleep. He has been very difficult to get to bed at night time, working himself into a state, and he is refusing pretty much everything food wise even though his little tummy rumbles. He is drinking plenty of water, he isn't being sick and doesn't have a temperature. Just very bunged up. Am I to worry yet or let it run its course?

Also with sleeping, the past three nights he has just not wanted to go to bed, been crying and sobbing and getting very upset. It's all been whilst he has had his cold/teething. I keep sitting with him until he falls asleep, but Sis reckons now i'll have to do it forever. Is it so wrong of me to want to comfort him when he isn't feeling right? And really, have I fucked up his self settling now because of it?

Lovely pp glad you enjoyed your champers and had a lovely evening! Well done to vvvdp. Well done for surviving today too :) sounds like a nice day

great attitude chasing :)

I love zumba. I cannot do it though so do it on my xbox kinnect at home where nobody can laugh at me

sorry you had such a shitty day yesterday bplp

det E is a 4.5G - not sure what the G is? But big footed little people aren't they!!

waves a massive hello to the return of the pr, horsey, catbag and luis you've all been missed!

Happy anniversary fatima :)

glad you're more positive apple you do sound alot better :) definitely keep that appt for now though :)

wow stunt brill!

kirrin hope your day wasn't too bad

Very much importantly.... GO GT You're doing amazingly well :D Can't wait for the news!

Wow there was so much more I wanted to say but I want to be in bed when dp leaves for work in about 10 minutes to try to maximise my own sleep.

Lastly... I lost another 2lb this week :) slow and steady, tis!

ditsygem · 26/09/2013 21:21

I've just rescued a Muscovy duck, well actually i've spent most of the afternoon rescuing it. It appears to be stuck in my garden - don't know how it got in! bless it. Anyway the RSPCA didn't turn up tonight so I guess they are coming tomorrow so I have managed to shut him into the passage way between my house and next door so that he is safe from predators over night. I am wondering if it needs rehoming if they will let me have him back! I would need to sort a shelter for him etc but I feel responsible for him now...I think he is a tame duck, not wild as Muscovy ducks are usually owned, not wild and he doesn't seem too scared of humans.

Kirrin · 26/09/2013 21:31

Well done on the weight loss kyz
I used to sit with DD1 while she fell asleep and now I just kiss her goodnight and go. If they've learnt it once they can learn it again! Of course you want to comfort him when he's sick xx

Horse is not too bad, thanks horsey You can still see the fracture line on the X-ray but she looks good and the vet said she can start going for short walks. Hopefully we'll have her out in a small field at some point next month :) gonna be a long process and she'll never be ridden again but hopefully we'll reach the point where she can go out with the herd and have a nice life, and maybe even a foal!

We used to have some muscovys ditsy They're lovely, but can't half do some serious damage to your garden!

YellowWellies · 26/09/2013 21:51

Kyz the nipper cosy toes is awesome its so fluffy and snug the bear always has a cheeky nap when we're out and about! I'm hoping it means I won't need the hated snowsuit so much this winter....

PetiteRaleuse · 26/09/2013 21:59

kyz the G measures the width of the foot. That's wide. But they lengthen out as they get older.
