GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 24/09/2013 14:26

Well done Oscar!

ChasingDaisy · 24/09/2013 14:35

kyz, Oscar has slept through for the past 2 weeks. He woke up once last night and I'm shattered. totally normal Smile

fruitpastilles · 24/09/2013 14:44

Yay, go Oscar!

fruitpastilles · 24/09/2013 14:45

S has leopard print leggings on today, dp keeps calling her bet lynch Hmm

Brockle · 24/09/2013 14:56

ds1 told Y not to do something yesterday so Y got angry, charged at him and bit ds1s toe Shock Grin I know I should have been cross but I was impressed at the understanding and temper. Grin I think I may have my hands full with this one.

go Oscar!

stay away from the Christmas bargains thread. it is lethal.

Brockle · 24/09/2013 14:56

Y has jeggings on..... and a very manly t-shirt..honest...

ChasingDaisy · 24/09/2013 14:58

When I was at the doctors yesterday, a chavvy couple kept calling their baby boy sexy Hmm

Got the bus home from MK today, which was practically empty but there were two of us with prams so we were squashed together in the space designed to only take 1 pushchair. Anyway, we bonded over Sophie la Giraffe and then had that awkward moment where we got off the bus at the same stop and I basically followed her home - turns out she is one of my neighbours!

ChasingDaisy · 24/09/2013 14:58

I asked Oscar for a kiss and he bit my face.

fruitpastilles · 24/09/2013 15:06

chasing my friend does that all the time! he's very cute yes! but sexy?!?! Not what I'd call an 8 week old.

fruitpastilles · 24/09/2013 15:11

Every time I ask s for a kiss she claps haha, think she's getting confused

YellowWellies · 24/09/2013 15:35

Woo hoo! He's cut his front tooth and the one next to it is coming through. He didn't have a disturbed night at all Confused I don't know whether to feel thankful I've a baby who's unperturbed and stoic about teething or sad that he's used to pain from his reflux Sad . The only time he's cried have been when he's jabbed his sore tooth with pork pie and couldn't eat it! At 11 months and 1 day is he the last to cut his first tooth!?

Today I've been mostly fending him off the dog's nylabone puppy teething toys. And fishing my washing back off the pair of the wee buggers when they organise a raiding party on the washing machine Grin !

ChasingDaisy · 24/09/2013 15:54

So apparently crawling = nap refusal. As soon as I put him down asleep he pings upright. He better fucking sleep tonight. I've left him mooing in his cot so I can come and have a cry in peace. I'm tired and lonely. Everyone I had plans with this week has cancelled so it looks like I won't have a single conversation with someone I know until Sunday at this rate. Fucking fantastic.

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 24/09/2013 16:13

(((Hugs))) chasing

Would you like to skype at some point?

Elizadoesdolittle · 24/09/2013 16:23

DD1 has had some fantastic tantrums. She did the whole head butting the wall/floor thing too. Looking back it was quite a short phase but horrid at the time.

FatimaLovesBread · 24/09/2013 16:32

(((Hugs))) Chasing but yay to O for crawling

Awesome news on the weight increase Eliza 500g in 2 weeks is loads, M puts on 1kg in about 3 months.

Sorry you had a shitty night Kyz

I had a shit night but it was me rather than M. Was up being sick at 2am but haven't been since. Had today of work so I've loafed around on the sofa with the duvet watching tv. M is at the CM so it's weird being home alone. Feeling better than I did though so think it'll be back to work tomorrow for me.

Think I might put a pasta bake on and risk a bit. Other plans for the evening is to write a list of birthday/Christmas present ideas.

I reckon this would work with vitalite or olive oil for the allergics among us :)

GTbaby · 24/09/2013 17:51

Mil has lo on a potty. He screamed n screamed n screamed. Is now sat on fil with no nappy. Slightly worried about scaring lo for life re potty training partly hoping lo does a wee on the floor. White carpet. Hilarious.

StuntNun · 24/09/2013 17:52

GT wtaf?

Thechick · 24/09/2013 18:02

Sophia about 100. They were mostly things that are happening in the company. I'm shadowing the person that has been doing my job tomo and then will probably start back on Thursday or Friday. Thanks again for all the hand holding. I feel like I have no time of my own now though!!

Thechick · 24/09/2013 18:05

Fruit H does the same. He has kiss, wave and clap mixed up. GT my mum said I should get a potty. I just smiled and nodded.

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 24/09/2013 18:09

GT why on earth has she decided to try and potty train your child? Can you put a stop to it? I had to stop my MIL from trying to train DD1 while I was in hospital and she was 8 months older than H is now. Hmm

PurplePidjin · 24/09/2013 18:18

What's wrong with putting them on if it's fun? Forcing H while he screams is clearly unacceptable and i have my fingers crossed for poo down fil's leg but if you know they go at a convenient time, put them on!

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 24/09/2013 18:40

Nothing wrong if it's fun pidj but gt didn't make it sound fun. As importantly it's gt's decision when to do it. I told mil that every time she mentioned it I would start it a month later than intended. She soon shut up.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 24/09/2013 18:43

Ridiculous. Don't think you should do it till they can string a sentence together and can communicate. You can really damage them doing it too early. Having said that did you see that thing on TV early in the year about being a mum and this group of women who never put their babies in nappies? They work out when they need to go by their face. It was on channel 4.
