Sophia be careful with those bruises!

Very excited for you pennie :)

Pass it sounds horrible. Glad your getting the docs help.

Kyz, kirrin hiya!

Det we have days like that too, it's up and down and roundabouts

LO not only went down on his own but slept til 6.30!!! I feel like a new woman and we are off out today to see a old friend with a little boy exactly one year older than L. Grin

Pikz · 03/09/2013 07:48

GT I think you are entitled to as many preggers strops as you want!!

How are you lovely stunt? Xx

Pikz · 03/09/2013 07:49

And YW crawling and stuff is ace!! I love how L pegs it to see me shrieking and laughing. Best thing ever

ChasingDaisy · 03/09/2013 07:50

stunt how are you today?

Am off to the local children's centre to register this morning then going to check out the local Costa.

StuntNun · 03/09/2013 08:11

Not too bad today although I'm very tired. J woke us up once in the night then was up for the day at 5:15. Confused DH put a plan together for the night which was dummy - Calpol (in case of teefs) - feed. He got back to sleep in the wee hours with just the dummy so that counts as a good night. He is properly crawling this morning (he was a bit crap at it before and kept stopping and sitting up) so the stair gates need to go up today.

I dealt with yesterday's nadir with a bit of retail therapy so J now has his first pair of proper shoes OMG £26 for baby shoes? Why don't they put the prices on so you know before you get to the till? He doesn't need them yet as I think babies should walk barefoot for as long as possible. I got them so he can sprockle around outside the school gate while I'm waiting for DS1 and DS2, or if we're at the playground.

Brew all round

R was awake 4-5 then slept till 7:30. He stayed in his cot all night. 20 minutes is too long to leave him, every 10 seems about right to me. I just rub his back and if he's ready he goes instantly. But then, I'm lucky - no illness, allergy or intolerance to overcome. Vvvdp insisted on getting up with him as usual even though the point was to save me the 5:30 starts when I'd been up feeding all night! So I'm snuggled in bed with coffee Brew

PurplePidjin · 03/09/2013 08:18

X post, Stunt that sounds much more positive. I'm glad your dh is being more supportive :)

Brockle · 03/09/2013 08:25

Y did exactly the same stunt it appears 5am is the new 6am Smile you sound a bit more positive, I really hope your HV can help today xxx

YellowWellies · 03/09/2013 08:26

Stunt ace news! Jonas' sleep has improved massively since he figured out crawling (down to at most one waking) so maybe some of J's was the 10 month regression.

Sophia arnica cream for you lot!

Jonas is having his morning feed - he's just unlatched, looked at me verr seriously then done the biggest fart on my lap!!!!! Wink Classy bear Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/09/2013 08:28

You sound a bit more yourself this morning stunt

Boys are playing nicely while I make the days soup. All thoughts of boxes have gone out of my head except for when I trip over the ones in the hall

TheDetective · 03/09/2013 09:37

One wake up is awesome Stunt. And even 5.15 start can be forgiven, considering previous nights?

A whole load of things seemed to come together when O started sleeping more regularly and waking later. Crawling was one of them. Fingers tightly crossed that things will calm down now.

DS1 has gone off to high school. I am not sure how I feel about it! The school run was a hell of a lot easier Grin.

Just hope he settles in well. He knows no one there :(

Pikz that is my absolute favourite thing! DP bought O downstairs while I got ready this morning. When I came downstairs, O heard me and raced the full length of the living room squealing and giggling, to get to me, and wanted straight up on my lap for a climb cuddle! Love it! Grin

We are getting a little better at self settling here. He can do it about half the time. He's currently whinging a little in the cot. Fingers crossed he goes down on his own.

ChasingDaisy · 03/09/2013 09:59

stunt J cracking the crawling sounds really positive, I really hope that helps his sleep Smile

O is a big fan of the 5.30 wake up although I can't complain as he slept through from 6.30-5.30 last night. He seems much happier after some good long naps yesterday. He had three hour-long sleeps which is unheard of.

Lily311 · 03/09/2013 11:04

O was up at 4. It seems her fifth tooth is coming soon. She came next to me and fall asleep, unheard of! She is super whiny today, I hate teething.

stunt so glad last night was better. Hopefully it will just improve from now on.

ditsygem · 03/09/2013 11:48

I was up from 2.50-5.10 with F last night. Then he became hysterical when I was trying to get him to sleep for his morning nap this morning, cue tears from both of us before 10am, never a good start to the day.
Think we might be entering a wonder week zone. ugh. I just feel like the worst mum in the world when I can't comfort him when he gets hysterical. It doesn't happen too often but seems to be getting more regular and makes me question whether I can really cope with being a SAHM.
hugs to all those who had bad nights/poorly babies/rubbish DP's.

Kyz · 03/09/2013 12:25

afternoon :)

detective hope ds1 has a good first day at high school, my sister started high school last week, was worried about her as she's still quite young for her age iyswim but she seems to be ok.

hey wellie

gt that would wind me up too and im not pregnant!

gosh sophia injuries all round then!

pikz amazing!!! well done

stunt sounds like a much better night!! fc crawling helps, bless him. I hope you have a good night tonight! any chance of sleep whilst j naps today?

ditsy hope the rest of the day is a bit better!

I love it when e bounds up to me too with a grin on his face :) so sweet

anyone know when pr is back? miss her too!

Lily311 · 03/09/2013 12:38

Amazon has stick man and the princess and the wizard for £1.75 each delivered if anyone interested.

Passmethecrisps · 03/09/2013 12:39

Hia.

Right. Been to docs. Doc was actually very concerned which made me wibble. He reckons I have premenstrual syndrome and/or at risk of anxiety/depression. I have to go back next week when we will talk through options. I do feel absolutely fine today though. 100% makes me wonder if it is more likely to be PMS.

Be back laterz, homees

ChasingDaisy · 03/09/2013 12:59

Um there's water dripping from my boiler Confused Letting agent is popping round at 2 so will ask him to take a look but in the meantime should I panic worry?

Lily311 · 03/09/2013 13:08

Can you check the pressure? There should be some pressure meters on it, if it's in the red zone than the boiler needs topping up. How recent is your gas certificate? We had once water pouring out, it was harmless. But collect the water in a bowl so the plumber can see how much it leaked.

Donnadoon · 03/09/2013 13:48

:) pass

ChasingDaisy · 03/09/2013 15:23

Thanks lily, the pressure looks fine and I've popped a bowl under it to catch the water. There isn't much. The letting agent is going to get a plumber out. I've also asked for permission to repaint the flat. BTW, my Whatsapp doesn't work when I'm connected to this WiFi so if you have messaged me I'm not ignoring you Grin. Oh, and date guy is coming round tomorrow. Oscar is under strict instructions not to wake up this time Hmm Wink

My downstairs neighbours must love me, I was hammering this morning and now O is going mad in his jumperoo...

Bryzoan · 03/09/2013 15:49

Glad things are looking up a little stunt. I think it is still worth talking with the hv though to find out if any more support is available?

Pass - sounds like a really awful couple of days. Glad the doc has taken you seriously. Next time try and tell us it is happening so we can remind you things are ok really and it will pass.

Flat sounds lovely chasing.

Gt - that strop sounded very tolerant to me - I would have been very grumpy indeed.

Poor ditsy - I can identify. Since handing in my notice I have been feeling increasingly panicky about being a Sahm, and sad about the job I have given up. I can't help but wonder whether 2 days a week work would help me be a better mum the rest of the time.

TheDetective · 03/09/2013 16:17

I'm done in! DS1 whining - doing homework. Whine whine whine I can't do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

O is napping. Thank fuck. We went swimming with the 5 from baby group, and then all came back to mine. Where Oscar promptly got his lunch aaaaaaaaall over the living room, the dog refused to come and clean it up, so I actually had to crawl around picking up mashed pasta from every little corner of the room.

Made copious sandwiches, salad, and dragged the crisps and biscuits out.

The babies seemed to have fun anyway...!

The other mums all felt bad because it looked like a bomb had gone off. When DS1 was little I'd of had a coronary at the state. But now it doesn't even phase me Grin. It took 20 minutes to pick everything up, tidy, and put O down to sleep. Sorted Grin. So glad I have relaxed over the mess thing mostly!

Shame when we all arrived the dog had fucking pissed right at the front door. Fucking cowbag! She's well and truly in the dog house!

YellowWellies · 03/09/2013 17:21

Day one of YW eats cheese (3 pinches of grated cheddar with breakfast) has gone perfectly smoothly other than wee red spots around his mouth after a BF. No pain or whinging so far.... I hope tonight's OK! Right if I up it gradually I could be onto a slice of Pizza come October Smile Smile Smile Smile

Ditsy 9-10 months is one of the most tricksy ages according to my HV - pat yourself on the back and have a Brew .
