Oh dear. Not a happy quiche today!

Chasing glad wee O is ok, and also glad your new friend came good Smile

Detective hope O is ok now.

J had his first visit to nursery today, and it went well. I felt quite sad to see wee ones younger than him cruising and crawling, but the poor boy has had a lot to deal with. He will get there. Copious snot so I think it is the cold making his reflux worse. Fucking colds! I do sometimes wonder if something else is causing the constant snot though as he has had it since he was 10 days old.

Tax credits have paid a bit and say they are going to pay more, but I still do not think we are getting enough. We will have enough to get by though I think. Only 4 more years.

ValiumQueen · 22/08/2013 14:09

And fucking teeth too PR. J has three still coming through and I think they are adding to the shit. He is very dribbly. That will bring the tooth count up to 10.

Pikz · 22/08/2013 14:39

Big quiche Wine and Brew to all

I should be packing to go home instead I am watching midwives and have rocked L to sleep. Oh well mad rush in a bit!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 15:04

Cacastrophe. Up her back, then when changing she scopped a load and smeared it into her hair, into my top and on my arms. Squirmed right through the change ensuring as much shit was spread in every direction as possible. My house, baby and me all stink of shit.

Kyz · 22/08/2013 15:11

Afternoon all. Should be doing something of use I'm sure but fuck it, fuck it all I can't be fucking bothered. This morning has been full of screams and sobs and whinging and everything else. I am resting ready for the afternoon.

Qq. E has a seat that fastens to a dining room chair, but it only has a 3 point harness. He keeps rocking violently in it and making himself gag and choke on his finger foods. It's really scared me today, he doesn't listen to no and thinks doing it is funny. Do you think I can get him to stop this somehow or should I just get a proper high chair with a harness and sort of, pin him in? I don't know what else to do Sad

Brew for all the bad nights. Was worried we would have one but e didn't in the end.

Fucking hell it's happening quiche wide today isn't it?!?!

chasing am glad o is ok now bless him

Glad j's nursery session went ok vq and you're right he will get there :)

Fuck det is o ok now??

Shit literally pr I had howling this morning trying to hold him still during a nappy change. Wasn't fun at all! I do not envy you.

Phew. As a quiche we can get through today I think

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 15:13

We're home now. O has vomited all afternoon. I asked the mum who's baby it was eating, and she said it was a grape. But it looked like white bread with something in it to me Confused. I suspect it was dairy. :(

He's asleep, and doesn't seem in pain from it, just vomtastic. Hmm

Time will tell!! Well, I suppose that was one way to test dairy, right?!

PR Oh fuck! I take it was LO not DD1 Grin. Is it Wine o clock yet?!

I am very excited about events avec chasing. Not so happy about how it came about. But hey, least no worries over what to wear, or how to greet now!! Grin

I shall be sat here tonight, impatiently waiting updates!

VQ He has been through SO much in his short little life. He will get up and go one day, and then he will be just like DD2. Grin And then you'll have a 360 degree spinning head!

10 teeth! Wow! Good going J! A mum at baby group today was telling me about her sleepless night (she's the one with a baby just like many of our quiche babies!) this week. When she checked the next day, 5 teeth had all come through together! 5!! I nearly fainted!

I showed my sling off in the group today. Much admiring, and one mum tried it out! No hip/black/pelvis pain today, although I only wore it for the 5 minute walk there, and then about 20 minutes while chatting and the walk back.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 15:16

Both DDs have enjoyed rocking in their high chairs kyz it's scary isn't it?!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 15:20

Detective have pm'd you but thanks for the dvds, they arrived today :-)

Yes it was LO. DD1 was busy filling the kitchen sink with lego.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 15:33

Right, I deserve it. I made a chicken and potato curry yesterday. Tonight I'm going to eat the leftovers with garlic bread and rice. A complete carb fest.

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 15:45

Got PM, but the answer is no :P It only cost £6 to post! Can't believe it took a week though, was sent last wednesday!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 16:02

They mistook your 7s for 1s in the postcode so the computer scanner sent it to the wrong area of France. Often happens with parcels sent from the UK.

That's very kind Detective . Please can you pm me your address so I can send you a little something to say thankyou? You didn't put one on the envelope.

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 16:22

ROFL! That was DP! I sent him to buy an envelope, and wrote the address out clearly for him, and told him to copy it exactly. He has SHIT writing though Grin!

Should have just don't it myself!

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 16:23

Don't?! Done!

Can't even blame the iPhone for that one!

ChasingDaisy · 22/08/2013 16:24

Cute guy will be arriving at chez Chasing at 8pm tonight Smile

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 16:28

We need an acronym for him!

SGILTF?

SexyGuyI'dLikeToFuck?

Oh if only he could read all these messages. His head would quadrouple in size!!

ChasingDaisy · 22/08/2013 16:38

After today KISA would be appropriate Grin

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 16:42

Knight in shining armour Grin.

ChasingDaisy · 22/08/2013 16:44
Grin
ValiumQueen · 22/08/2013 16:48

Grin At head quadrupling in size Wink Remember Chasing, if you can't be good, be careful.

PR Oh dear but thank you for making me giggle

Detective that is a pretty severe reaction for O to have if it was dairy.

I have made lentil soup with DD1 this afternoon after school. We are all having it for tea. We have a health initiative fruit barra in the village and I usually get there too late, but today got their £5 bag. I was glad I had the big pushchair as it was very heavy indeed Grin

ValiumQueen · 22/08/2013 16:51

My parcel from Tesco arrived with some Christmas presents for the kids, effectively free as I used vouchers, and with the half price sale and their double up offer, £40 worth for £10 in vouchers Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 22/08/2013 16:52

DD1 is being horrrible to LO todaY. Bashing her every time she thinks I'm not looking. I hate days like this.

ChasingDaisy · 22/08/2013 16:56

Wine PR

TheDetective · 22/08/2013 17:01

What do you mean VQ?

We were sat at a table, eating lunch. O won't stay sat on my knee, he goes off to play, and ignores lunch mostly! Except floor lunch it seems! The babies all make a terrific mess on the floor, and normally I am pretty good at stopping him getting to it - it's a very large room, and he plays on the other side of the room.

But today he got something! Then minutes later the vomiting started! He bought up lumps of ham, and other unidentified substances then after that he just kept vomiting strange colours up, and now it's mostly milk or clear liquid. Confused

He's still fine in himself though. Thank fuck! For now!
