birdbrain21 · 29/04/2014 12:42

I know what you mean about being broody but too busy, a friend of mine with a baby a couple of months older then dd just told me she's pg again and it made me think I really want another one but we decided to wait till dd is 2 and I'm trying to stick to that. Are you planning on having more at somepoint busymum or is 3 enough for you?
Do you think cannot has had her baby and thats why she hasn't posted for a few days? Should really check the april 2014 thread to see if there is any news but don't have time to search it out....

Busymumto3dc · 29/04/2014 19:37

Ooo she might have done!

Off to spy!

Busymumto3dc · 29/04/2014 19:41

Ok my spying revealed ....

She is booked for induction on Friday but was having some signs of something happening this morning!

Exciting

3 will be it for us at least for now

Dp doesn't want any more. We can't fit any more in our house and I am rushed off my feet. However I like to tell myself I'm only 26 there is plenty of time for things to change!

birdbrain21 · 29/04/2014 20:42

Ooh thats exciting hope she is in labour and doesn't have to hang around for days with is it/isn't it labour!
Not being able to fit more in your house is a rubbish excuse your dp can sleep on the floor and you'll share the bed with a baby Wink as you say plenty of time to change your minds and little accidents happed our dd wasn't planned I'm 22 and we had only been married 6 months we planned to wait till we'd been married a year before ttc, but to be honest I wanted a baby so it was a very happy accident Smile

Busymumto3dc · 29/04/2014 20:48

Aww that's nice

Do you plan any more bird?

Tbh if do changed his mind I would prob say yes but I can't see him doing that any time soon! But you see many women having babies in their 40s these days so I have like 15ish years!

birdbrain21 · 30/04/2014 11:41

Well dd is our first so definately planning more both me and DH are from a family of four which is nice but might change my mind once I've got toddlers and a baby around...

Busymumto3dc · 30/04/2014 11:45

Four would be nice

We are both from families with 3 dc although I was raised as an only child (half siblings)

Four would be nice
Nice round number

Busymumto3dc · 30/04/2014 11:48

God just released I put four will be nice twice

Cannotbelieveit · 01/05/2014 11:13

I'm still pregnant (40+5) but induction is indeed booked in for tomorrow morning! Hopefully all the little on off signs will mean my body is virtually ready and the pessary will work first time as that's all they will try and if that doesn't work then straight to section.

H has now finally learnt to crawl forwards!! Only took til 13 months!

Busymumto3dc · 01/05/2014 19:24

Ah I thought you had popped!

Were you induced with h?

I dreaded being induced and was so releaved when went into labor naturally but I bet it's not always that bad tbh

Cannotbelieveit · 01/05/2014 19:29

No H was EMCS due to reduced movement so I've never been in labour Confused

Busymumto3dc · 01/05/2014 19:32

Ooo that could be interesting for you then!

All of mine came naturally before due date so I guess I was lucky

birdbrain21 · 04/05/2014 10:35

I was induced with dd, think my body was anyway ready though because I was showing small contractions on the monitor before the pessary was put in and I lost my plug as she was putting the pessary in. I don't think being induced is as bad as some people make it out to be but I guess I could have been lucky it happened so quickly also dd was my first so never had another labour to compare to....
Hope cannot is enjoying snuggles by now Smile

Busymumto3dc · 04/05/2014 10:50

I was terrified of being induced mainly becauSe I didn't want a catheter

How silly'

Cannotbelieveit · 04/05/2014 11:49

Ryder was born yesterday at 10.53am weighing 8lb10.5oz. Got ku vbac in the end!!

Busymumto3dc · 04/05/2014 14:24

Yay! Congrats!

birdbrain21 · 05/05/2014 10:00

congratulations Smile so glad you got your vbac. How did it feel as a second time mum to tell the midwives you'd never been in labour before?!

Cannotbelieveit · 05/05/2014 15:47

Was funny!

But all my midwives were amazing ESP the one I had that delivered him!!

birdbrain21 · 08/05/2014 12:38

we're off to have injections today Sad I made DH stay home from work to come with and help comfort her, hope she's better this time then the last two times...

iirc · 08/05/2014 12:48

Congratulations :)

I'm so broody at the moment and got the implant in. We said next year but it took me ages to conceive H so worried it will take a while.

iirc · 08/05/2014 12:48

Oh and nc I'm gimme ;)

birdbrain21 · 08/05/2014 16:22

injections over , they weren't too bad she did scream when they were done but the nurse was great and did the all really quickly and when I offered her some food she calmed down Wink

iirc nice to see someone else on the thread apart from me, cannot and busymum Grin

iirc · 08/05/2014 18:42

Yeah, I/ve been a bit quiet recently.

It's just so much easier to keep track on MN - Facebook gets so manic.

Glad injections went OK, we've got injections for H on the 14th. She was very good with the first lot, but she's a lot more aware now and I can see her giving the nurse a thump if it hurts (not nastily or anything, she just flaps her arms about when she's nervous/scared).

birdbrain21 · 08/05/2014 22:33

I was a bit worried about her trying to wriggle away because if your holding her and she wants to go down she literally dives out my arms and I have to stop her falling, but I got DH to hold her (I'm really nervous of needles and didn't want her to pick up on that...) and after the first jab she was so upset she was clinging onto his top so the nurs just quickly did the others while she holding onto him.
She was fine all afternoon playing normally but then when I got her undressed to get ready for bed and she saw the plasters on her legs she got really upset Sad kept on pointing to the plasters and crying then climbing up for a cuddle. I managed to get the plasters off so hopefull she'll have forgotten in the morning

Busymumto3dc · 09/05/2014 06:30

Oh bless her!

We are teething again! And badly!

Tooth 5 taking ages to appear, just starting to poke through. Past week has been lots of calpol and teething gel!

She is also perfecting having a tantrum! Throwing herself backwards or forwards into the floor screaming and clenching her fists!
