As I said to DH last night it's really sad but I wasn't going to complain about her giving me so many cuddles!
Can't believe your on tooth five we still only have two. Tantrums are so funny at this age when she gets cross she clenches her fists and starts shouting, she did it the other day when I was sitting on the sofa and she wanted my phone so she pulled herself up on the sofa but then ended up on her bottom because she let go to clench her fists she was so confused. Also when she's doing something naughty I used to say 'uh oh' to her because I didn't want to always be saying 'no' but now when I say 'uh oh' she gives me a big grin and says 'ohhh' how can I tell her off when she's being so cute?!

Busymumto3dc · 10/05/2014 08:20

We get "uh oh" when she has knocked over a tower or dropped something

Dd is starting to do the actions to some nursery rhymes now, she will join in with if your happy and you know it, twinkle twinkle and round and round the garden

We are getting tantrums here when we try to stop hunter emptying the DVD cabinet etc!! Also he knows something is different having his baby brother here so he is. Being a lot more vocal!!!

iirc · 10/05/2014 12:43

We are waiting for tooth number 7.

Only 2 up til 11 months then within 6 weeks 4 just popped out.

I do sympathise with tantrums - we get a bit of slapping here, unfortunately.

Busymumto3dc · 10/05/2014 16:46

Not so much slapping here but angry biting!

Cannotbelieveit · 16/05/2014 15:12

Standing (albeit holding onto something) at last!!! Just sorting our routine with the 2 boys! Ryder is 13 days old now. An easy baby so far. Bf going well. Back to birthweight on day 11. Sleeps 4-6 hours at night! Hunter is still a disinterested big bro! Think it will take him a while to understand!

Busymumto3dc · 17/05/2014 17:42

Cannot I have a gap of 16 months between eldest dc. It took until dc2 was a good couple of months for dc1 to really notice and then it was just to poke him, pull him by his arm, squash him

birdbrain21 · 20/05/2014 23:04

Just wondering what are your little ones wearing for bed when the weather is warm like this. DD normally has a sleeping bag (it's 2.5 tog from the winter so quite warm) she never uses if for naps during the day but I'm a bit nervous she won't sleep well at night not in it, but to wear a long sleeved, long legged babygro inside it she gets too hot but I'm not sure where to get kids summer p.js suitable for this age from. She's still wearing size 9-12 months. The best thing would probably be short sleeved/legged babygros. Does something like that exist?!

Cannotbelieveit · 21/05/2014 15:19

We are just putting hunter in a long sleeved vest and 1.0 tog bag and he's sleeping fine. He does go in his bag for naps too x

Busymumto3dc · 22/05/2014 20:47

Dd sleeping in vest and babygro

No bag

I put a blanket over her if it goes cooler

Cannotbelieveit · 04/06/2014 08:19

How are you bird and mum?

Busymumto3dc · 05/06/2014 19:43

All good here

Have had a couple of steps from dd so hopefully she will be off soon!

How about you?

Busymumto3dc · 05/06/2014 19:44

Oh and we are on 6 teeth

Cannotbelieveit · 05/06/2014 19:54

Hunter has 4 teeth still! And is pulling up on furniture/toys at last!

Ryder is 5 weeks old on Saturday! Can't believe how quick it's going. He will be in 0-3 clothes soon, he's a long boy, getting him weighed Monday.

Busymumto3dc · 05/06/2014 20:07

Wow that went quick!

We went away recently and I swear every other women I saw was pregnant. Bump envy!

birdbrain21 · 06/06/2014 13:40

We still only have two teeth!! But I think she's teething again at the moment. Had a couple of steps along the furniture but not really interested in walking more interested in copying everything I say Smile
I also keep seeing pregnant people everywhere, also I've lost a bit of weight since having dd so now all my clothes are too big on me keep on telling DH I'll just have to get pg again otherwise I need a new wardrobe!

Busymumto3dc · 06/06/2014 14:10

Haha bird!

I bought a load of new clothes so I can't try that one!

Today dd has been managing up to about 8 steps unaided!

birdbrain21 · 06/06/2014 19:07

wow busy 8 steps that's big progress! The only clothes I seem to have been buying recently have been for dd, not because she's growing quickly (still wearing 9-12 months) but because the weather keeps going hot then cold so I need to buy warm and summer clothes for her. I think I need to treat myself to some new clothes wear them a few times and then get pg that way I get the best of both situations Wink

Busymumto3dc · 06/06/2014 19:10

During a screaming fit this evening I noticed yet another slit in dds gum signalling tooth number 7!

Mumof3xox · 07/06/2014 20:34

Name changed from busy! Over sharing!

birdbrain21 · 18/06/2014 14:58

Hi ladies what's new with the lo's?!
DD is definitely turning into more and more of a cheeky monkey by the day. Whenever she's about to do something naughty she looks up first to see if anyone is watching her, and if you say to her are you being naughty she just give an adorable smile and a little giggle. It's very cute but I'm sure in a couple of years it won't be very sweet anymore!!!
She's been pulling herself up on furniture for a while but she's starting to take a few steps along it now and when she pulls herself up on me she's experimenting with letting go and trying to keep her balance. I feel like now she's interested in standing properly she's going to be toddling around very soon...

birdbrain21 · 18/06/2014 14:59

oops that should say los not sure why there's an apostrophe

Mumof3xox · 21/06/2014 07:00

Dd is now confidently walking unaided! Yay! And she looks so proud of her little self!
She's had a few nasty bumps from tumbling over but she is pretty steady now!
She had her one year check and all is well
And I am still broody damn it!

birdbrain21 · 22/06/2014 10:45

Wow that's so exciting have you bought her cute little shoes?
How come you only had one year check now ours was when she was 13 months. Is it hot where you are? I'm so jealous of dd crawling around in just a nappy would love to have no clothes on when it's hot Wink

Mumof3xox · 22/06/2014 11:23

They have a big backlog here. It sound be 8-12 months
