I got 5 mins sleep btw. J woke choking and was inconsolable. On sofa again. He is on his mat. This is night 7 of this fucking illness. Fucking bollocks cunting twatty wankbadgering up the arse illness!

kirrinIsland · 22/05/2013 00:45

pidj what everyone else said ^^ It must seem like there's no end to what you are dealing with - see the docs if you need to ((hugs))

VQ bloody illness indeed :( poor J, and poor you. Sending healing vibes your way.

eliza and PR one day they'll both sleep through together and we'll all get a whole nights sleep - won't that be great?! Fx'd it's tonight

Dixiebell · 22/05/2013 00:53

3rd wake up so far. Sad Sleep, babies, SLEEP!! Did that help?

ValiumQueen · 22/05/2013 00:55

No Grin but thank you Smile

PurplePidjin · 22/05/2013 01:24

Thank you. I'm not in need of my gp, although i know where she is if needed. Just fed up with fighting all the time. People think they're helping,.but they have no concept of the enormity of what i do everyday so are all proud of doing what in real terms is fuck all.

First wake since that post, so 3 hours. Fed and about to transfer

GTbaby · 22/05/2013 02:00

I think I've posted several times this week. And every time I go bk I can never find it. ... Last attempt.

LO is feeding well. But he is so lazy. He won't hold any food. Or his spoon. He Loves puree food or yogurt. N today ate some of my pear slice, but only as I held it to his mouth. N if I pulled it away he would open his mouth expecting more.

But how do I encourage him to pick food up n put it in his mouth? Or to even hold it if I hand it to him?

ComradeJing · 22/05/2013 02:04

DS likes everything so far - roast beef, baby corn, corn cob, pear, kiwi, baby rice cakes, avocado, toast, carrot, broccoli...

He gets very cross still at not eating that much though. I'm having to time his meals so that he isn't too hungry before hand.

ComradeJing · 22/05/2013 02:07

Oh and vq you asked on the other thread re duet. LOVE it. Super easy to get up and down kerbs, kids are both very happy in it. Narrower than BJCS. Wish I had bought it from birth.

WallinoMio · 22/05/2013 03:22

Flowers to everyone having a rubbish time.

We are on wake up number two though I have been awake on and off all night thanks to a fucking bloody literally cunting mosquito which has been eating me alive since I went to bed yet hides when I try and kill it sweary Wednesday starts now, right?!

Am being mean and refusing to feed. J has gone t sleep so can't be hungry just refuses to be put down

Another wankbadgery itchy bite!! Do one mosquito!!

Bryzoan · 22/05/2013 03:27

Poor old j and vq... Hope health is restored to Valium towers soon.

I was feeling quietly smug last night for settling r in his cot twice between feeds at 11 and 5. I was sure this was the start of a corne turning. Remind me never, ever, to feel smug again.

Dd has to miss her favourite toddler group tomorrow for another hospital appt. I hate hospital appts especially since she started hating them more.

Bryzoan · 22/05/2013 03:30

Settling g in his cot. R is the toddler girl. Too tired to namecheck the right anklebiter.

Bryzoan · 22/05/2013 03:40

I hate it that he'll go down fine and I'll think I got away with the transfer. Then 5 mins later.... Fucksticks.

LuisGarcia · 22/05/2013 03:49

Marking my place. Hi 5 ing Bryzoan and the wide awake club

PurplePidjin · 22/05/2013 03:51

Fighting again. No more food till 4. Go to fucking sleep little dude!

WallinoMio · 22/05/2013 04:02

We are still up. Have given in and am feeding. Have also had an argument with DP in the meantime. Fun times.

FatimaLovesBread · 22/05/2013 04:02

Thanks VQ that's makes sense. I haven't managed to get a fleece suit anyway so won't be doing that. I thought I could put tights on with the long sleeve vest to add an extra layer but like you say they'd be hard to take off if warm. Think I'll take a couple of 2.5togs and plenty of blankets. She can wear one of those and I can layer up and down.

I haven't got a SIM, was going to put a travel blanket down followed buy a cot quilt folded in half and put the pop up travel cot on that. I haven't got anything particularly snuggly to put in the cot for her to lay on, suppose a blanket will have to do, or the bottom bit of her buggy footmuff.

I've said if she's cold she'll let us know and she can snuggle up in bed with me

PurplePidjin · 22/05/2013 04:35

Fed. Fighting again. Mummy Will Win.

Fatima, i have a couple of fleece suits in 3-6. They're a good weight in the sling. Pm me if you want one to try, although i agree with vq. Cardi over cotton clothes and sleeping bag much easier to control!

Lily311 · 22/05/2013 04:44

Awake 3 or 4 times. I need matchsticks.

Dixiebell · 22/05/2013 05:33

Erm, seems my random shouting at 1am did help, here anyway, as only just woken now. Attempting feed in hope of a bit more sleep, but transfers never that successful this close to morning.

Dixiebell · 22/05/2013 05:34

Feeds at 10 and 12.30...perhaps I need to do two dream feeds to get him through till 5.30?? Confused

ValiumQueen · 22/05/2013 06:04

Fatima so long as you avoid an air bed or regular travel cot as the air gets so so cold in them.
Another bad night due to cough and cold. He keeps swallowing the phlegm which does not help.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 22/05/2013 07:08

pidj take it from me of four reprobates you do get yourself back. A new improved yourself though, with a family 18 months has been my turning point. With them all.

Now time for a Sophia lecture re abdo pain. I am really hoping you are ok yw. When I was at Uni I had abdo pain. My GP there said it was a pulled muscle Hmm I came home feeling sorry for myself and my GP at home sent me to a&e with suspected appendicitis. They kept me in for a week waiting for a scan (1994) it got worse and worse and my right shoulder was agony at one point I remember sitting on the floor leaning on the bed trying to manage the pain. They just didn't know what it was. The list of things it could have been was long, it ended up to be a bizarre cyst on my liver they thought I had had since I was a child from falling in water that sheep had been in Confused anyway the lesson is don't mess with abdo pain it could be a number of things. Get it seen to straightaway.

Pulled muscle indeed!

ValiumQueen · 22/05/2013 08:46

Ya know, that sophia talks a lot of sense!

ChasingDaisy · 22/05/2013 08:47

YW hope you're ok Thanks

Sorry to hear of illnesses and bad nights Brew

somewhat of a miraculous night here. Bed at 7.10, two wake ups but back in cot after a quick cuddle and first night feed at 5am Shock 10 hours without a feed Shock Shock and no transfer fails.
