Please give your baby's favourite foods so we can get some ideas from each other.

Tits you only need to take the antibiotics at a different time of day to the probiotics so they aren't in your stomach at the same time, i.e. if you take the antibiotics at breakfast have the probiotics mid-morning.

Under the house I should have said. The driveway goes under our house. He wimped out of replacing the brakes and agreed to just pay someone who knows more than him to do it. Thank. Fuck.

Yay for baby boys. I was convinced M was a boy. Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/05/2013 16:02

I was convinced O was a girl. I love having two boys and two girls. Perfect symmetry!

BigPigLittlePig · 28/05/2013 16:41

FUCKING INTOLERANCES.

F has been a bit of a whingebag today, and has been sick 3 times, was unsettled overnight and has been a bit "tuggy" when feeding, for want of a better word. I have been racking my brains and couldn't work out why. Gravy. Fucking gravy. It has soya in it. That's the only thing, and the timing fits perfectly.

Definitely won't be getting any soya milk with this weeks shopping.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 28/05/2013 16:46

I need some work advice but will post on Facebook just in case!

Bad night yet again in buzzy land. Fuck knows how to fix it. I want referral through ASAP as at least if it is an intolerance we can avoid then.

Donnadoon · 28/05/2013 16:47

Great news GT ! Sophia I have 2 boys and 2 girls too...do you feel a bit greedy? and blessed obviously too? Grin I do !

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/05/2013 16:51

Hurrah for boys GT! Grin

I have 3 scrumptious ones myself and would be chuffed with a fourth. Smile

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/05/2013 16:53

Oh and thanks for the probiotic advice, I'll get some this evening from the supermarket. Smile

MsJupiterJones · 28/05/2013 17:15

Congratulations GT. I am sure if you were hoping for a girl you are feeling a bit funny but your boys will have such a great relationship and now no.2 will start to have a personality. Hope he wriggles round so you can get the checks done.

I also cried when I saw the Chinese baby on the news. Wasn't expecting them to show the actual moment they found him. Mind you there seem to be no boundaries these days on what they show.

Last day of maternity leave, I am going back 2.5 days per week so will still have lots of time with L but it feels very strange.

FatimaLovesBread · 28/05/2013 17:17

Afternoon all!
We have returned from camping, well got back Sunday night but had a day of Unpacking, cleaning and cricket yesterday.
Had a fab time, weather was hideous thurs and Friday, thought it might blow the tent away. But it was lovely Saturday and Sunday for the racing. M loved both the camping and the motorbikes, also seems she's a real fab of grass, and food she tried lots of things to eat.

How's everyone else? It may take me a while to catch up on what I've missed.
I'll put some photos on FB when I get chance

Sick of the shite weather.

MsJupiterJones · 28/05/2013 17:47

L had really dark, almost black hair but most of it fell out and now he is light brown/dark blonde. However he has a tuft on top that never fell out so it is super-long and looks like it has been dip-dyed as it is blonde at the roots and black at the tips.

MissMummy1 · 28/05/2013 18:02

Thanks for hair colour contributions. Good to know we are not going mad and she really may be blonde after all!

I made it to work this afternoon. Was going to drop dp and M off at the pool but I forgot to pick up their swim bag Blush . So they were left to walk (with him carrying her carseat as I forgot pram wheels too) around the town centre for 1.5hrs Confused

I have cancelled tonight's client. I feel too ucky Sad

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/05/2013 18:42

donna I do feel greedy. I often call O my indulgence!

Have just taken the kids to the Loch Fyne restaurents for tea. All ok, Nd my seafood tagliatelle was lovely but a bit salty. It did have samphire in, is samphire uber salty? Or had they loaded with salt to tempt extra drinks?

horseylady · 28/05/2013 18:49

Went to drs. He'll grow out of it. On bad days give more gaviscon then sugar and water.

Thanks gp.

On the upside he managed finger foods yesterday with no vom and has just eaten some lentil purée stuff happily!!! I liked it too so that's all good. I'll slowly start the finger foods and work on reducing the milk too.

StuntNun · 28/05/2013 18:53

Izzy since I cut out eggs from my diet (after J's allergic reaction) his eczema has all but cleared up and he's sleeping a lot better as well.

Dixiebell · 28/05/2013 18:59

sophia, yes Samphire is salty. Loch Fyne, mmm.

Dixiebell · 28/05/2013 19:01

It grows in seawater. Yummy.

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 28/05/2013 19:05

Thread moving fast again.

evil you need to get legal advice. My DH has PR of DSD and if anything happened to her mum then as things stand DH would be the remaining legal guardian. I don't know what would happen if her will appoints someone else and it probably isn't clear cut. As you and your P are together, social worker may not be involved. I don't know. But worth checking.

sophia I love Lock Fyne. Nom, nom.

GT congrats on healthy baby. Another boy will be fab!

DS is almost recovered. We had a super fast visit to family for my birthday and DH had covertly got me nice pressies and cards from him and the kids, had arranged for my sister to be at my parents' as well, and my parents babysat so we managed a cinema trip. Lovely weekend.

Lily311 · 28/05/2013 19:20

Congrats gt, such lovely news.
det any news from gp?
evil wanted to say this before: if anything happens to me, both my family and Oh's family can claim O as we would be both deceased. There is no way I allow them to have her. I have a will, my brother and his wife will take care of her although I can count on any of my siblings.

O had dark brown hair, she has light brown now. Still nothing on the side but the front is long. She is a punk.

We had physio today, she screamed so much. But did move her left side more so def improving.

TheDetective · 28/05/2013 20:07

GT Two boys are lovely - really lovely! And so close in age, it will be even better! It does make it easier having the same sex too. I know at first it feels a bit deflating when you want one gender, but once they are here, you forget all that. Honestly!

O is still up and showing no signs of being near bed time! Shock. Mind you, 2 days in a row he has been up after 8 (although awake before, so I suppose I still expected him to be ready for bed at 7.30?!).

Got his milk. Thank fuck. Asda had been true to their word and got the formula in. Got the px from the GP. So all is okay now!

I saw a GP who is one of the partners today for my sick note. It's clear we are 'known'. As she knew Oscars name. And had no reason to... Blush. Ah fuck it. I'll change practice if it gets a bit too Blush. Grin

Have bought one of those mesh feeders. O has had banana in it, and went mental for it! He was sucking like a crazed baboon. Then I gave him some pineapple. He looked confused. Tried it again. And went nuts for it!

So given he had enjoyed the fruit, I gave him one of the apple and cherry organics pots I had bought, as I have given both of these to him before. Well, seems my puree is crap. He ate the whole pot like a baby possessed. He fucking loved it all.

Phew. Expensive those little pots though. Hmm But given he can't have a lot of stuff, I will let him off!

Got a whole load of recipe books from the library to work through, including a cooking for allergies in children one. If I find anything I will share it!
